Endless fetid fields of blighted plants and trees crested around my line of sight as the sword which had been plunged into me earlier dangled from my stomach. Oddly however, no pain festered in the wound and all of the plagues and blights had ceased in their frenzied will. Scanning my surroundings anxiously I felt a distinct shift in my surroundings pulse out, No Magicules existed within this space, seemingly, and it currently felt utterly revolting to my mind as each tree flexed with laborious effort. Puss oozed out of the various branches and roots before pooling below into the ash-laden dirt of this forest. Dead leaves and various other atrophied plant life joined the gloopy expulsions on the ground, creating a Picasso-like mismatch of varying colours that bubbled in heat.
The urge to throw up came to me like usual, but even with the intense desire to do so, I couldn't achieve it. Whilst grasping at my throat and dry-wrenching the space around me began to turn a putrid dark green, a noxious cloud of plague swarming around me, avoiding me as it plunged deeper into the forest behind me and then up into the skies where hundreds of small fat creatures suckled into the 'sweet' current of bilious bile. Tracking them I couldn't help but turn to the only person I could in this moment...
'Morgan?'
'...'
There was silence, no one was there. Morgan wasn't within my mind or was incapable of speaking to me. I was truly alone for the first time in almost half a year. Shivers ran through my limbs at that particular discovery as the next one slammed into my senses a moment later...
Perspective blurred and the entirety of everything shifted all at once. Once noxious trees that were blighted beyond what I could comprehend, were replaced by a veritable monstrosity of tree that were more akin to fleshy monsters than actual trees. Blood mixed with snot and puss in festering piles of diseased run-off as hundreds of small white rats skittered between various nooks and crannies within the blighted underbrush. Stepping onto my back feet and I attentively and furtively examined my surroundings, my magical connection to Consumption and Time coming to life despite the lack of Magicules.
As if my actions were a mere display of a child, a distant mansion that was massive in size, beyond the scope of skyscrapers on Earth, began to zoom closer to me in perspective. The Trees rattled and swayed side to side as much of what once was a forest dispersed in favour of this 'mansion'. Hues in the sky that were previously a dark green, lightened. Dark Green were replaced by lighter neon greens and positively radiant greys as clouds made of rot and decay swirled in a tornado pattern for kilometres. Pudgy little humanoids began to climb many trees as I was distracted by the mansion's incoming speed.
Antlers hung from their heads, stark white in some cases and brown in others. Pustules, pimples, cists and varying other forms of skin diseases pocked their exteriors. But, where many would be held up in bed, crying of their misfortunes, these creatures were laughing and smiling as their pimples popped. Cists burst. Carbuncles oozed. And eyes leaked yellow liquid. It was beyond repulsive at this point, it was almost perverse and evil to even wish to gaze upon them for longer than was necessary. The feelings were to such a point that I wished I had a knife to gouge my eyes out so I would not have to experience the cultish fervoured excitement they held in being mutilated and wreathed in diseases.
An explosion of green acidic liquid washed over the area as said mansion halted, my surroundings to being visited by said mansion, but more akin to the land I was on coming to it... To describe it would be impossible, all logic was defied with this one action and even my understanding of concepts was warped beyond measure.
'...The Warp...'
My eyes widened before the front door of the mansion opened. Nothing could be seen beyond it, only the purest darkness... The void of all life, death. A cauldron of massive size apparated before the gnarled oaken doors of the mansion that towered hundreds of stories tall but also only a single story tall from a certain point of view. This cauldron was wafting out the same green gas that had blow through the forest earlier, except this had faces and tongues lashing outwards from it's deepest core. Amidst this cacophony of horror was the striking cord of a woman's voice crying out in agony, her voice ragged and worn from the tone I could hear.
Taking a step forwards in concern there was a large resounding crack from the door, halting my movements as a figure in large sludge-infested armour stepped out. Dull copper mixed with fetid blightful green amongst the power armour that coated the wretched form of this figure. Maggots slipped from cracks in said armour before dropping to the ground and hatching into flies within seconds. Some were not fortunate however as a black tar-like substance leaked from the scythe that was held in this figure's hands and mulched them down into fertiliser for the cursed lands surrounding me and him.
"Grandfather, your wish, shall be done... This universe, will be plunged, into death, and despair."
No response came but the figure nodded his head monotonously amidst the swarms of flies flittering around the bottom of his figure. Then, stepping completely out of the doorway, his horrid face was exposed to the despotic lights of noxious plague. His eyes were stark white except for a small bead of glowing green light that gleamed in the shape of a normal eye's iris and pupil. Veins ran flushed over his bone-pressed skin as tubes were implanted into the sides of his cheeks, green gas leaking into the very core of his existence, his lungs. Beyond that however were the two fleshy wings that resembled the porous skin of elderly humans, with one great exception... Massive eyeballs that snapped around in multiple directions each second, sinew and viscera spewing out from the 'corners' of these eyeballs as maggots crawled amidst the poor imitation of eyelashes that were glued to the sinewy wings.
If the midgets from before were disgusting... This was death, in its most devious and darkest form... Plague. Each movement was laborious and lethargic as flesh sloughed off only to be eaten by the body itself and regenerated. My consumption powers flared in response to the cyclical nature of his regeneration, the concept finding small amount of unity amidst the otherwise maniacal delusions of this place.
With the flare of my power however, came an oddly slow rotation of the 'man's' head in my direction. Teeth decayed beyond measure stood like blackened pillars amidst the almost volcanic coloured gums of his mouth. The smell was just as horrible as the stench of death itself, pestilence personified in mortal form.
"It seems... That, we have... Visitors... Grand, father...!"
I took several steps back as I looked all around me in nervousness. Those same creatures surrounded the entire glade and they held on every word of the man who was now standing just before the door to the mansion. I felt like I should be sweating but nothing came, as if my body was seizing up in the mere presence of this form of domain. I knew who's domain this was and what they represented, I couldn't put up a fight and had no clue on how escape was possible.
"Under, stood..."
The figure took a step forward as his scythe rose high above his head, the tip aimed towards me as the entire environment around me turned hostile; more so than it was before. Midgets that looked harmless soon became feral and charged at me as the trees literally exploded out in massive pustules. But none of that was as deadly as the scythe that, sluggishly, dropped, down through the pestilence-infected air. A mere second passed as I felt a pain beyond what I could ever describe, more than even disappearing into death as god... It was an unholy and tortured rapture of proportions that would sunder most people's sanity. My mind reeled and I felt consciousness slip away like a greased snake from between my hands.
~In the skies above Tempestus...~
The body of Silviana was left alone as the sword and Angel she had just versed was consumed utterly by her. Maggots and green gas trailed from her falling figure, her eyes shut firmly and her body flapping in the wind like a ragged and worn flag. Gravity pulled her down with increasing fervour as her head and limbs dangled above her.
"Sister...!" Yuna shouted aloud as she took the final angel lieutenant and consumed them, the warp being expunged from reality as the rules of Magicules established themselves once more. Warp-Angel turned to slush and pink as their body was turned into gaseous energy; sucked into the very pores of her body.
Wings fully extended, Yuna dropped from her height in the sky, chasing her now unconscious sister. Fireballs and various other spells and projectiles fired at the skies as other angels fell or were doing the felling, the war in full swing with most of Tempestus looking as if they were coming out on top. This was inconsequential to her however as she dove at terminal velocity, swooping down into a catching pose as fast as she could. At the same time, Rimuru was blinking from rooftop to rooftop towards Silviana, his Beelzebub skill fully active and consuming every spell or power that threatened to get close to Silviana's form.
"They aren't laying a hand on her Ciel, ensure that."
'Got it!'
"Sister! Sister...!"
Yuna continued to shout out amidst the utter silence of Silviana's descent. Explosions emphasising her every shout and call out. Screams shuddered from below only to be quelled as soldiers stepped up with machine guns and massacred the entire force of Cherubs that were threatening the civilians.
"SILVIANA!!!"
