Chương 61: A GOOD NIGHT WALK

— They came to pick up Amaranta at the lodging assigned by the school in the city of Diefont, so that

she went to the hotel that Izan had chosen for her to stay, where he reserved a presidential suite.

A driver from Izan Marsans went to pick her up, around noon after lunch, about two hours

later, Izan arrived at the hotel to meet Amaranta.

— When Izan arrived, Amaranta had already taken a shower and was wearing an almost transparent robe, searching through her things for clothes to wear. Izan had asked for another key, so he just entered the room.

Which, due to its large size and design, had two rooms and a hall with a small dining room and a

sofa and television. From there, he called Amaranta, who was surprised to realize that she was still wearing the transparent robe, so she immediately answered.

—"Izan, I'm finishing getting dressed, I'll be out now, give me a few minutes." She hurries and puts on a pale pink dress, tight around her torso, showing that she is no longer think like a couple of months ago, now mature from eating well, her breasts have grown, at the waist the dress falls in an A-line, creating an image of a cute figure no longer of a girl but of a beautiful young woman, tall, beautiful and elegant by her own nature.

— When she leaves the room, Izan sees her, thinks she is beautiful, very beautiful, that he can't let any useless man break her heart, that he has to take good care of her and not let bad men get close to her. As soon as he returns to camp he will ask for a photo of his brother, except for Scott, to see if he is handsome, then he will meet him to see if he is a good match for Amaranta, he is not willing to give his little girl to any bastard who wants and thinks he can possess her. Why does the fact that he has to give her up cause a tightness in his chest? As if an invisible force were squeezing his heart painfully. He must be sick. When he suffered the serious accident in which he met Amaranta, he spent a month in the hospital. They performed all kinds of tests on him and told him that nothing was wrong. Why does he now feel this pressing pain in his chest? He will have to ask for a new check-up at the hospital. It is best to be sure that nothing is wrong.

—"Amaranta, you look good." — In fact, she is very beautiful, and it is true that she has grown up. She is no longer that girl that he met three months ago. It is best to keep a little more distance from her, to avoid gossip and not damage her reputation. She is very young, Amaranta. I will do that. Izan thought.

—"Izan I'm so happy that you're here with me"- Amaranta ran to where Izan was standing and hugged him tightly, but this time Izan Marsans already knew what to do with his hands, he placed them softly and tenderly on Amaranta's back. Running his hands up and down Amaranta's back.

—"Little Amaranta, why didn't you tell CEO Philip Thompson that you would be here today, so that he could prepare a room for you alone?" Izan asked calmly.

—"The institute had everything ready, so I didn't see the need to bother anyone else"

—"You never bother, silly. Besides, that's what CEO Thompson is for, to help you with everything you need" Izan commented as if it were something normal, but he was upset with Philip

—"Okay. I'll keep that in mind, always" — Amaranta agreed.

—"Amaranta, you're hungry, wait, I'll take a quick shower, in the meantime I'll order food to the room"

—"Okay, I imagine you're very tired, I didn't eat, they arrived before going to the restaurant at the lodge" — Amaranta, as always, her head began to work a thousand miles an hour, imagining that he would be there with her, that they would eat together, that she wanted him to stay a long time and not leave her side. While Amaranta was in the world of illusions, the food that Izan had ordered arrived, the staff came by, and they placed all the dishes delicately in the small dining room. Shortly after, Izan came out of his room and saw Amaranta standing in front of the window. The sun was streaming in. She had her hair down, it was long and waist-length, as golden as refined gold. He thought he was seeing an angel wrapped in a golden aura. It seemed so expansive to see that tall, thin figure with long, golden hair. He sighed and continued on his way to the dining room.

"Amaranta, come on, let's eat. Afterwards, if you want, we can go out for a walk," Izan said, as if it were something natural between them to go out together.

"Yes, I'm coming," Amaranta replied, turning from where she was standing to go to the dining room. "What a delicious meal you ordered, even a piece of chocolate cake"

—"I know you like the cake, but don't eat it all because it can cause indigestion, and we don't want you to get sick tomorrow" Izan was right, she herself had scolded Cari, she couldn't preach, and she didn't practice, she would be a hypocrite

— They spent the time, quietly eating, without much talk, when they were already finishing, Izan asked Amaranta: "Where do you want me to take you?"

—"Let's just take a walk near the hotel."

— Izan accepted this proposal, they prepared to go out for a walk after eating, they left the hotel and walked to where they saw the shops and most commercial areas, after walking through an area they found an arcade where Amaranta stopped to look at the machines that were required and the kids who played there, at least those that could be seen from outside. Izan noticed the excitement on her face when he saw how her eyes sparkled every time someone won, so he asked her, "Do you want to come in and play?"

— Amaranta without warning took him by the hand and ran with him inside the arcade, surprised Izan, more so because she took him by the hand, he saw how they stopped in front of a game where he had to dance as a couple "Izan we have to play here win more points than the one who is the highest scorer here" Amaranta said.

They put in some coins and started the game. It was astounding how they complemented each other so much when dancing and developing the steps in harmony to achieve the highest score, they were in their own world without realizing how many boys were gathering around them, some girls supporting the handsome Izan and boys supporting Amaranta.

— For Amaranta there was only the moment. This one she would treasure forever.

— They continued like this, having fun for some time in various games, winning so many tickets that in the end Izan gave them to some children so they could buy gifts, only Amaranta kept some to recover a large teddy bear and a pair of couple rings.

— When Amaranta had the Couple rings in her hands, she thought about giving one to Izan, so she showed them to him and asked him-"What do you think, Izan?"

—"They're fine, they're the typical couple rings, the ones you wear when you like each other, or you have a boyfriend or girlfriend. Keep them, so you can give one to the man who will be your boyfriend in the future."- These words destroyed Amaranta's hopes of ever being by Izan's side in any way other than as that girl he takes care of, or as his friend.

—"Izan, I'm still young to think about having a relationship with a boyfriend, the main thing now is to pass the exams tomorrow, film my godmother Johanna's movie and have my grandmother living well."- Amaranta answered, to cover the urge to cry that she felt at that moment.

—"Amaranta, it's late, let's go back. You have to study. We'll check what you still don't understand well." Izan wasn't stupid. He noticed Amaranta's change in attitude, but he assumed it was because she was worried about the exam. They headed to where Izan's driver was waiting for them. They got in the car so he could take them back to the hotel where Amaranta would stay. While they were on the road, Pedro, the driver, was wondering what Mr. Marsans saw in this simple young woman, if she wasn't from his social circle.

— When they got to the hotel entrance, Amaranta was asleep, so Izan took her in his arms and carried her to the room. Once there, he gently placed her on the bed and covered her with a blanket. He left the room, but not before carefully looking at Amaranta's calm face. He moved her hair out of her face and placed it behind her ear and left the room.

— I'm calling out, "I think I'll have to go back to the hospital, I don't know why I don't feel well" — Izan commented to his older sister. "Izan, what's wrong with you? Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Are you hurt?" Lydia Marsans asked nervously.

—"No, sister, it's just that when I was in the hospital they told me that my heart was in perfect condition, but lately I feel a very strong oppression in my chest. And my heartbeat increases without warning or without me doing anything. "Izan, where are you, I'm already awake" I call him Amaranta.

— Liliana Marsans, upon hearing Amaranta's timid voice, wanted to burst out laughing at the expense of her poor, silly brother, she just hoped that he would soon realize what was happening to him." Don't worry, we'll see about the doctor, now go and attend to your business that awaits you." Lydia hung up on Izan.

—"Amaranta, we'll study a little later, I'll order dinner, and you'll have to sleep early." Izan said in a light voice but without any sign of denial on Amaranta's part…
