In the commoner realm of the Clover kingdom, the streets of Nean City were cheered up by vendors selling varied things. Trying their best to attract customers to their stall.
"THE CITY IS SO COOL!," Tobias exclaimed in awe as he sat on Sid's right shoulder, watching the sellers and well-built houses down the street. It's his first time coming to a city like Nean's as before he never stepped out of the village.
Although he had heard that the city is more populous and developed than the Sosshi village, he never expected the disparity to be so large as to perplex him.
"The City is cooler than you thought, Tobi," Sid stated with a smile before looking around as he glanced at all the vendors around them.
'Here it is!' Sid's gaze was drawn to a vendor, selling various sweets. He smiled before approaching it.
"Uncle, where are you going?" Tobias asked in excitement as he thought his uncle wanted to show him some amazing places.
"I am going to buy you some sweets," Sid replied, prompting Tobias to exclaim, "REALLY?" the voice was so loud that it attracted the attention of the onlookers.
"Absolutely," Sid nodded his head in affirmation, ignoring the people looking at him and Tobias.
They arrived at the stall and purchased some sweets at the cost of 10 yul.
"Ummm~mmm," Tobias savoured the sweet as he succumbed to the clutches of the sweetness.
"How was the sweet Tobi?" Sid inquires as he walks through the space between people while carefully carrying Tobias on his shoulder.
Tobias didn't reply, as he was entirely onto the sweet, his mind was blank, and the only thought that came into his mind was 'Delicious'.
"Hahaha, I get it," Sid giggled as he glance at the nearby people. He sighed in relief, as no one was paying attention to him. He doesn't want to get embarrassed in front of many people.
After a few moments, Tobias came to his senses, only to be disappointed when he realised all sweets were gone. He became enraged and glanced at Sid before turning his head away in anger and saying, "Hmph."
'Huh?' Sid tilted his head, confused as to what he had done to enrage Tobias.
"Tobi? What happened ?...why are you upset?" Sid asked in concern as Tobias muttered, "You eat all my sweets...bad uncle."
"Owww~dont call me bad uncle, Tobi," Sid became emotional, tears of crocodile fell from his eyes. He kissed Tobias on his cheeks as the latter rubbed the kissing spot as if he were trying to clean it.
'Oops!... Tobi looks really angry...what should I do,' Sid walked hurriedly, while peering at the stalls and the shop around the streets, finding something that might intrigue Tobias.
'That's it,' Sid halted in front of a restaurant named Scarlet and looked at Tobias before smiling, the latter also turned his head and grumbled, "Why are you smiling?."
Tobias's breathing became noisy as if he was really angry. A cold sweat broke out from Sid's forehead. He became worried as it was his first time seeing, Tobias being that enraged.
"Pffffffff~hahahaha," couldn't hold back his laughter, Tobias chuckled out, followed by a perplexed expression of Sid, wondering why Tobias is laughing abruptly.
"I-haha...I was just acting, uncle, Sid!," Tobias said while trying his best to control his laughter.
"Sigh~," Sid sighed in relief, honestly, he was getting a headache, just thinking about the methods to calm Tobias down.
"You sure have gotten better than before," Sid grabs Tobias's cheek and pulls it, causing the area to turn red.
Both of them entered the restaurant and took seats at the corner table. Ordered two plates of noodles.
"But Uncle Sid, why here?...remember? aunt Reba also owns a restaurant in this area," Sid wondered.
"Tha-that I don't know, where Aunt Reba's restaurant is!" Sid replied, stroking his cheeks with his index finger while having an embarrassed smile on his face. Even though Reba had told him about her restaurant location, he couldn't help but forget. Sid doesn't even know what her restaurant name is.
Hearing, Sid's answer, Tobias regrets not being able to meet his aunt and eat in her restaurant.
"Hey! Did you hear about the incident last night?"
"You mean that huge monster,"
"I heard it as well, seems like it's true,"
"It is, and I have seen that monster with my own eyes."
Suddenly, conversations about last night's monster overwhelmed the restaurant as people started to give their opinions on this matter.
Tobias, on the other hand, became excited as soon as he heard the word "monster", whilst Sid raised his eyebrows in surprise, and became a little anxious.
Tobias turned his head, as he listened intently to the individual discussing the monster.
"That monster can even spew fireball! rumour says at least 50 nobles had been killed by it,"
"That monster definitely looks a lot similar to a dragon, if it weren't for the shark-like face, I would believe dragons exist."
'Dragon!, shark-like face!,' Tobias glanced at Sid with stars shining in his eyes, curious about the creature known as a dragon. Sid later explained as Dragon only exists in legends, it has wings like a bat, a body similar to a lizard and can breathe fire from its mouth.
Listening to the explanation, Tobias imagines a picture of a dragon in his mind. It appeared both cool and terrifying at the same time.
Their noodles were being served after some time as they eat contentedly before returning to the village.
"Tobias, could you spend some time with William? I want to have some serious conversations with your uncle, Blaze, Drake and Seihi," Sid asked while grabbing his waist, and putting him down from his shoulders.
"ok," nodding his head, Tobias hurried towards William's house, and a smirk appeared on his face.
"William!," Tobias knock on the door, shouting his friend's name.
*creak...
The door opened as Willaim appeared before his eyes. They hugged each other and entered the house.
"Tobi!, how was the trip?" William asked as they both sat on the chairs placed in the living room which were specially made for them.
Tobias then began telling him about his experiences in the city, including the monster incident.
"William, let's do this!" Tobias said before whispering something into William's ear. The latter felt excited as well before nodding his head.
3 hours later...
Tobias lay on the bed, dazed. His gaze stopped at the roof above him, remembering the conversations, he heard while peeping at Seihi's house.
