'Oh... I didn't expect my life to end up like this at all. I wanted my life to end with dying of old age with the love of my life. Haah~ I also think Luis was going to propose to me on this date he took me to, and his parents were going to be my parents, too; I want to see them. Colby, that brother of his, would've been excited, too... Luis loved me, and yet, here I am now... Drugged to the point of going in and out, and the feeling of being used, over and over and over and over and over again, a-and over... I feel dirty... Like a disgusting piece of trash to be left to ዪዐፕ in who knows where... Where's Luis? I want to hold h-him!'
Those were the thoughts of a woman who was filled to the brim with excitement for a romantic date that had turned into an unforgettable nightmare for both of them. She was now lying face up in the murky waters of a ditch, unrecognizable unless forensics were to check her decrepit state of affairs.
Her once raven hair was now de-scalped, and her face was bruised and burned, with deformities made from countless indentations from skull fractures. Her body, from the neck and down, was utterly mangled; her tongue was cut, and her teeth were removed. Liana was now just a husk of herself, just to be left alone...
Her life was being replayed at this very moment as she remembered her past up to this point.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl with pale white skin, deep raven hair that was short, wild, and uncombed, with three black barrettes showing off a bit of her hairline and honeyed yellow eyes. That went by the name of Liana Graves.
At this point, she was just a little girl of the age of 10 with a hollowed heart. Her family didn't help with her 'emotions' either but added to it with a toxic environment.
Ever since she was born and conscious of her surroundings, she seemed to have difficulty with emotions. Everything to her was a numbing background that only left her feeling an odd buzzing sound ringing in her ear in early childhood. It also appeared that her brother had all of the attention from the very family that was supposed to love her.
At the time, she had to watch her parents and her insufferable brother act like a happy family while she watched on in a corner, metaphorically and literally sometimes.
Her day in school was the only solace she had without seeing her parent's apathetic eyes on her and that disgusting look from her brother that weirded the poor girl out. She didn't know why it was weird, but his gaze made her recoil every single time.
Yet Liana couldn't care less at the moment of their neglect as she was content with her place in the family; at least the little girl was given a bed to sleep in and food to eat at times were her thoughts at the time, and the only solace the little girl had was that she would be leaving this place when she turned eighteen.
She thought she didn't need their love when she had all the others at school telling her how pretty she was, but oddly enough, their words felt hollow. She never thought she was beautiful, no matter how many would say to her that until she met a certain boy named Luis.
It was the first time she felt something because of him. They had a lot in common, and they got along for over half a year. Because of this boy named Luis, it seemed that the buzzing sound resided, but that time was cut short as she had to move away to a different school. That was when, for the first time, she felt a specific feeling towards her family, and that was hate.
But she couldn't do anything about it, and she didn't want to talk back because she knew that in doing so, they would let her starve again, or maybe even worse.
So, she said her last goodbye to the boy as she moved away from Oklahoma schools to Cincinnati to attend one of their private schools in Ohio. Her parents knew how gifted she was; that was the only reason they kept her in the first place. She also grew to despise Ohio, and her tinnitus had also reappeared.
Sadly, things took a turn for the worse for her when she was thirteen and her brother was sixteen. It was already her brother's birthday, and as expected, her parents threw a huge birthday party in their villa for him, like always; she was in the back seat after all.
She didn't have to join them at the party and stayed in her room with a phone that she paid for with stolen money. With the money her parents had, she stole just enough for a phone to play games with. She found different hobbies she soon enjoyed.
At this time, she heard knocking on her door, so she immediately hid her phone somewhere safe and went to the door to see who it was.
And unexpectedly, it was her brother. And for some reason he was alone, she didn't know why he was at the door but that smile of his made her feel revolted, that revulsion turned into fear as her brother lunged at her which led to her being pinned to the bed the far side of the room.
It all happened so quickly, and when something was about to happen, a saving grace called out to her brother, stopping him from going further than just pinning her to the bed.
When he left the room, all she felt was pure, unadulterated rage, which changed her perception of men almost entirely.
She was just about done with her family and began hatching a long-term plan to steal all of her parents' fortune and leave when she turned eighteen.
But first, she had to deal with her brother in some way, and killing him would mean trouble for her, and she despised the very notion of letting him or anyone else use her body in such a way. So she'll find someone else with similarities to put her brother's eyes off of her were her thoughts at this moment.
Liana was still shaken from the altercation, leaving her shivering on the bed with her arms crossed, hugging her shoulders with a blank, cold gaze.
{4 Years Later}
Many years later, the little ravened-haired girl was no more; she had become even more beautiful as her hair was much longer yet still as wild and uncombed, but it was tied back in a ponytail. She had worn a white top with a black brassière, with a red pendant hanging from a white choker, with a pair of blue jeans.
(A/n: Think of Ashley Graves from The Coffin Of Andy & Ley Ley. She's an AU from that universe.. But she'll have a different appearance though.)
Her plan was almost in motion throughout the years of neglect her parents gave her, giving her the advantage of slowly siphoning off her parents' money by manipulating the stocks they were so proud of. The amount of time she learned about finance was more than enough to do so, and the computer skills she's gained will make everything smoother.
Liana has also learned to take care of herself when she leaves.
During her time in school after the incident with her brother, she grew an aversion toward men; almost every time she looked at a male, she couldn't help but see her brother's face, but she was able to cope with it on her own.
(A/n: Her parents only cared more about her education than her well-being because she could be of use for her intellect, and she had more time to learn things online...)
Oddly enough, Liana didn't need to do anything to her brother, as after the incident beforehand, he had already moved on with another girl who looked somewhat similar to herself. This meant that she wouldn't have to worry for now.
It was all almost over, and she was able to move on with her life by moving to Colorado to pursue her true calling: sea life...

Liana found an apartment that she could finally live in... She skipped her graduation party, as Liana didn't want to be a part of a shit show that she caused by destroying the Will that her parents had carefully planned for her perfect brother that was also a good for nothing parasite, that also siphoned their parent's money with his parent's knowledge. It kind of hurt that she was doing the same thing as him, but then again, her egotistical parents deserved it, she thought.
At this point, she became an entirely new person. Liana changed her hair mostly but kept her eyes the same golden color. She kept her first name but changed her last name to Liebert.
But, sadly, the changes she had were only physical, as the mental scars were still there to this day.
Luckily for Liana, on a very fateful day, she crossed paths with someone from her childhood who would change her perspective in a very odd way.

(The Present)
'I m-mean, seriously... Now that I think back, I really did live a shitty life trying my best not to lower my standing in that god-forsaken household, and after taking their money from their trust funds and their Will... I now would've wanted to see their faces... FUCK I bet it would look funny too... But I wouldn't have found my dear little Luis~'
Liana's eyes were slowly becoming cloudy, and her frail body slowly convulsed as she tried to remember the day Luis asked her out.
{Back To The Past}
(POV: Liana Libert)
[Location: Colorado, Department Of Marine Wildlife]
[First Day On The Job]
I was able to transfer myself into this department without anyone warranting my documentation to be frauded, and now I'm working in one of the fields of marine wildlife. Sometimes, I do get some weird stares at times from others in the field, but honestly, I couldn't care less till I saw someone who was familiar.
He had blonde, unkempt hair, light brown eyes, and tanned skin, which was my first thought about him while I glanced at him.
'He looks like a golden retriever... That's kinda adoarable~ I wonder if he would remember me?'
I thought, but I went back to work. I was kind of worried that if I got close to anyone, there might be a chance of people finding out I had fraudulently documented my way into this fieldwork. But things seem to be going well—almost too well?

(Four Months In)
Honestly, I thought this stuff would be hard. Add to that the fact that I'm not an actual Marine Biologist, which sometimes makes me feel like a fraud.
So, in my free time for a side hustle, even before taking this job, I would usually Twitch stream... With a persona that just went by "Ana," and I had a small number of followers, but I kind of had fun just gaming during my streams.
But on my back from my break, there was finally that 'guy' again, as I was walking by...
"Umm, hey!! If you don't mind, how about we grab some drinks together..."
When he said that, it didn't seem like he was all touchy or grabby, and he had some distance away... This is a first for me, so I asked him.
"What's your name, sweet cheeks~," I asked, which made the guy blush a bit, and he answered back.
"Luis Brimstone," he said while saluting me. He is kind of cheeky, but he hasn't changed at all since the first time I met him with this level of cheekiness. I asked another question with a frown.
"Is this your first time asking somebody out?" I asked, and he saluted even harder than last time, which made his co-workers in the background laugh as he answered again.
"Yes, Mo- I mean Mam... This is just a first for me, and you already have taken away my first-time experience~" Luis grinned at me while saluting... I wanted to strangle him, but I looked away while trying to hide my blush. And I said while calming down my blushing face.
".... were you going to call me Mom,*Sigh*? You know what? Never mind, sure, I'll go with you for a drink... But that doesn't mean we're dating." I told him, but he spoke in a way that made me dumbfounded as he stopped his salute and clasped his hands together while rubbing him like he was going to do something devious.
"Well, you see... I never got to hear you say your name... And you do seem like mother material to me now that you said it... And yeah, I get it: boundaries. You got things to do, and so do I; it's already more than enough to spend some time talking to someone for some drinks." My mouth dropped when I heard that... Well now... I guess I have to tell him my name and give him my phone number while at it, huh?
"Oh... My name is Liana Liebert... And it is a pleasure to meet you face to face this time around." After saying that, I ripped a sticky note from my bag, wrote my phone number, and gave it to him.
"Make sure to call me after work, and our date will be at a bar nearby this department, alright?" I said to him while looking at him... He looked adorable as his hand shook a bit, but I'm surprised that he kept his cool.
".... Thanks for giving me your time, Liana," Luis saying my name felt pretty nice, but sadly, he didn't remember me. But I've changed quite a lot since then, so it's completely understandable. I smiled back softly.
"Anytime. And I'll be waiting~." I said as I walked off from the dumbfounded Luis and his equally dumbfounded co-workers... I can't wait to spend more time with an old friend; let's see how far this will go...

'Hah... It got to the point where I wanted to marry so badly, like a depraved lunatic on bath salt... But I mean, now, I'm hooked on so many different drugs in my system at this point... I wish to stay forever and ever and ever with Tristan, like a connection only he and I could share, and I hope that his family is doing well... And I really want to torture every... single one of those bastards and turn them all into confetti.' Her last words echoed within her mind as she tried to raise her hand to the sky.
And her calls were heard, "§µrê Lïåñå~ ¥ðµr wï§h wïll ßê gråñ†êÐ~" The voice that sounded eerily like her own said. And with her last bit of excitement.
'Really!!! Please grant it!!" And that was the last of her energy as the eerie voice began to laugh as a black void of liquid dragged Liana's soul into a domain of the void...
And from then on was the beginning of Liana's painful transformation.
