Over the course of the months, following years later when the two of us deciphered the written language, me and my brother found a book in the attic, a magic book to be precise.
We of course tried it out, seemed to have worked as Rudy summoned a water ball…and the second one proceeded to cause him to faint and drop the ball onto his crotch…
…decided to come down and tell mom that Rudeus fell asleep and peed himself.
Coming back to it the next day…I had to reconfirmed to myself that a human most of the time can be very wrong, or the book was incredibly outdated when it mentioned that magic capacity is determined at birth.
…when bro over here was able to double his every time he cast the spell over and over again and came back later.
Me?…I'm not sure, but I might have a different problem…
When Rudy does it, he says he feels out the magic when he chants and replicates it…
…the problem with me?
My magic was too sensitive, almost as much as my skin is to cloth, many times the adults of the house would find me shirtless, which they tried to correct, only causing me to itch all over.
Which they noticed, a little concerned they had a few trips with healers and their version of a doctor, but there wasn't anything particular wrong, dad did refer to me as a Milo or "Blessed Child" though, so it might have something to do with that.
Well anyone, back to Magic, if my mom who had to chant had her control sensitivity at 10 where she slowly guides the mana with chants, and Rudy had it on 50 where he could efficiently move it around without it….
I was stuck at 100, imagine playing a shooter game like call of duty where precision is important but your controller is too sensitive.
So I was stuck with chants since that had a predetermined speed of 10.
And the one time I tried to bulldoze over it…
BOOOOM!
I created an air cannon that went through the roof with what should've been Elementary Magic.
In other words I overpowered it to the point it was at the least Intermediate.
Which of course everyone noticed, mom gave that weird smile, and did a little upbeat dance.
As dad and Rudy looked bewildered.
Oh…I got a tutor instead of punishment for putting hole in the roof? Well that was a win in my books
