She took Everett to what she called a car first and performed rather unusual injury care on her elbows before taking him somewhere else. One of the tiniest dwellings he had ever seen. Had she truly been staying here? What happened to her?
He was about to ask when she gave him chocolate almonds like she so often did and gestured for him to sit. It seemed the explanation he had been waiting for was coming.
It was fairly unbelievable and there were a lot of things that weren't accounted for, such as how they got here and where everyone else was, but he figured that was because she didn't know herself. At least she knew the customs here. That would make blending in easier while they came up with a plan.
