Chương 546: An Awful Lot Like A Doting Boyfriend

As promised, Drew took care of Marshmallow and brought Mila everything she asked for. He fretted over how she was feeling and ended up calling the nurse for her. No one had ever fussed over her like this. Not since her mom died at least. 

She couldn't let it get to her though. He was taking care of her in large part because he felt responsible for what happened. So what if his worry was genuine? 

Her poor, confused heart was in for even worse once she got out of the hospital because she saw for herself how well he had been taking care of things in her absence. He had done her dishes and clearly won over Marshmallow since she curled herself around his ankles as soon as they walked through the door. 

And that wasn't all. He had her go lie down and set her up with an anime he knew she liked and told her to let him know if she needed anything while he opened his laptop and worked from her kitchen table.
