In a land far far away from any civilization, there was a jungle where rain was constantly present. It was a never ending place as it seemed to go on for miles. But deep within the trees, one would see that there were red and yellow eyes lurking within the shadows.
Walking out of the tree lines were monsters wearing mask like those of the Aztec's. Their skin was gray and they wore leaves for clothes. Their weapons ranged from sickle to a spear. Tattoos and earing were present on their bodies.
This place was a gate. And this was the home to these monsters.
But if they looked more closely, inside a cave deep within the mountains. There were ruins, torches that had no light, pillars with an incomprehensible language written on them and a small pyramid to name a few. It seemed abandoned yet despite that, the monsters had never went in nor discover it.
Inside the pyramid, there was one single room and the room looked like a place for rituals. Paintings, magic circles could be found here. What would catch the eye was an orange amber stone.
Nothing visible could be seen inside the amber but cracks were on the outside. Suddenly, a hand with claws pierced the amber from inside out. It then broke apart the amber in two, a being had emerged from the amber.
It was a demon with insectoid appearance to its body. It had clawed hand, scaly hide, a pair of downward-facing ram horns and hooves for feet. Parts of his body appeared to be made of greyscales with accents of red and purple.
Gold veins on their hands and over their body and a red diamond eye shaped gem in the center of his forehead with a pair of small horns.
This was the son of the Monarch of White Flames.
It wasn't a baby as it grew within the amber after the countless centuries that passed since the death of the Monarch.
Normally, babies are notable for being curious but it wasn't.
Instead, it held its head as if it was in pain and screamed in anguish. The monsters outside who heard this roar shook in fear as they felt the tremendous pressure.
[System is currently overtaking the body... Processing-]
The demon holding its head began bleeding purple blood from its red eyes as its resistance slowly diminished. After what seemed like eternity, the monster stopped moving. The process has been completed.
[System has successfully overtaken the body. Merging the host's body with that of the demon.]
[An error has been found. Compatibility between the two bodies is that of 5,7%.]
[Searching... no other better options have been found.]
[No outside intervention has been allowed from the creators of the system. Cannot modify the body to suit the host.]
[Fusing both bodies. Per the Guardian Blood Angel promise, the demon blood within the host will be transformed to be similar to that of the DMC universe while still retaining the fundamentals of this world.]
[Demon blood has been fully integrated. Congratulations host, you have been reborn.]
The demon opened his eyes to see the world yet this time it didn't have the blood red eyes. Instead, his sclera was glowing white and yellow slitted eyes. His once towering body shortened and his firing hair became normal white hair.
Now his appearance was like that of a human. The only thing that would distinguished him from one would be his eyes which were like that of a hawk.
{AN: Think of him as Dante. Look wise.}
"Now I get why so many people watch anime. Just feeling this power inside me is like a drug."
Taking a deep breath, he clenched his fist as he felt the new change. He had been reborn and it felt amazing.
Looking through his memories, he had figured what was happening. "So my name is Dante... quite fitting since I have a DMC system." He said with a smile. "Never really liked my previous name so I'll be taking it."
When he had come to this body, he had instantly inherited the memories from its previous owner and knew a couple of things. First was that he was a demon, the second was that there was countless powerful entities like his father and that he needed to grow strong to survive.
Lastly, was his father's last and only wish. To let his son survive and escape the mess that he created, to never let him get involved with the Rulers and Monarchs.
He had the memory of his father's death. His last moment where his ally ran away like a coward and his opponent killing him. And thinking about it, his emotions fluctuated as his anger spiked.
This demon wasn't his father. It was the father of the demon he inhabited yet because he had merged that meant that its emotions was his own.
Because of that, he had no intention of accepting that wish.
"Demons are surprisingly touching. I wonder... are there any humans in this world. I don't remember any memories regarding humans. Only other monsters like orcs and dragons."
Before he could think any further, he heard the sound of the cave crumbling. Pieces of debris fell from the ceiling as the buildings slowly crumbled.
"What's happening?" Looking at this sight, he was shocked but quickly took action as he ran out of the cave. While running, he noticed the difference. His speed was above what he expected yet it felt instinctive to know how to control it.
As a giant boulder was about to hit him, he smashed it into pieces. "So my strength and speed are completely different. This really is great!" Dante yelled out in excitement.
After escaping the crumbling cave, he looked back at it but saw the entrance was blocked off by the rubble. "Tch. I never even got to see where I was born."
Looking outside, he saw a jungle that he had never witnessed before. Having no idea of his location, he felt lost as he had nowhere to go and no goal to achieve.
It felt uncomfortable looking at this in reality. Like he didn't belong to this world which he really didn't. He shook his head to get his mind focused.
"System." A white screen appeared in front of him.
[Name: Dante
Race: Half Human/Demon Compatibility 5,7% (Monster)
Gender: Male
Items: 1x Beginner Pack
Skill: None]
[This is the system last message before never coming back. Weapons are resonated by the user. Although some weapons are stronger than another, it grows in accordance to the host. That is all. Good luck in your adventures.]
"No A.I anymore. That's not good. But weapons that grows with me huh. What happens when I get a godly weapon from the start? Does it get weaker to be on my level or not? Well I honestly doubt it'll give me one since they didn't want to give me too many gifts."
"But still, that's barely a system. It doesn't even give me my stats." Dante truly felt disappointed at this. He had no idea that it was going to be this bad.
He had no idea where he was and nothing to defend himself with. The only thing that gave him hope was his only item. A beginner pack.
"This is the famous Gacha my friends kept talking about. Praying to the Gacha Gods, please grant this one favor to your subject."
He clicked on the item and a package was on the screen. He opened it and with an animation of a package being exploded in a blue light.
[Beginner Pack has been opened.]

"Oh my God! These beautiful guns are now mine. Bet Dante is gonna be pissed that his most loved guns are now here. Hahahaha!" He laughed loudly as his happiness was at its peak. The pair of gun materialized in his hands.
This was a dream come true. Every DMC fan would kill to get these cool weapons.

Examining the guns, he found them exactly like those of the games with the pictures of the gunsmith. "These beauties are now mine. Bet my friends would salivate just by looking at these guns."
Thinking about them put a bitter taste in his mouth. Having to part ways without even saying goodbye to the friends that were always with you wasn't something he'd ever want to happen.
"Hopefully they'll get to live a good new life."
*Rumble!*
The ground beneath him began trembling. Looking back, he saw the jungle trees being pushed apart as a 9ft monsters wearing mask like those of the Aztec's. its skin was gray and it wore leaves for clothes. Its weapon was a blunt wood.
It growled as if provoking him.
Despite seeing it, Dante wasn't frightened.
"I knew it. This place was too good to be true for there to be no monsters." Two guns appeared at his hands and he pointed it towards the monster.
"That guy told me that everything I gain would be dictated by achievements. You'll be the first one ugly."
Guns?
