Frey opened his eyes with a start, lept to his feet, and his hand flashed to his Kopis. He scanned the surroundings to discover himself in the chamber that the group had been resting in. The moss that had previously clung to the stone floor had been stomped flat from the group's constant sparring sessions, which had never been confined to the cracked stage. The giant light crystal overhead grew brighter with each passing second, indicating the sunrise, although not even a single ray of sunlight could be found this deep inside of the system of caves. Sitting in a circle at the center of the stage, were Elero, Thomas, and Doevm.
"Frey," Thomas turned away from the map that the three had been engrossed in. "Now that you are finally awake, can you please come over here and help me explain to them that we should only spar today. We have time. We don't have to hunt down Trak's group until tomorrow."
New week new section of the story. I also got a new problem. Over the summer, I might (Key-word MIGHT) be doing an internship. The only problem with that is that the internship is full-time. If by any chance I am accepted, that leaves me at a little bit of a loss for what to do.
The main reason for the internship is that I'm not making enough from this series. (I don't know if I can talk exact money amounts under contract so I won't say the numbers.) My financial situation is stable, but my parents push me to make a significant income, which is understandable.
That leaves me with two options: One, get close to begging you guys for powerstones so I can get more collections so I can upload daily over the summer and turn down the internship (Don't worry I won't spam as much as I did in my early writing), or two, over the summer, I will do the internship and I will cut down my schedule to only upload one or two times a week. I know this is a long time away and I know that it is a little unfair to pressure you guys. I just want to be transparent with my readers.
I will happily accept any outcome as both are benefitial to me. I will never stop this story until it is done. I won't stretch it out. I won't shorten it. The only things that can possibly stop me are time or death.
