An Yibei gave the door a polite knock and a sonorous voice inside said, "Come in!"

He pushed the door open and stood in the doorway.

Director Tao was playing darts when An Yibei arrived, and was surprised to see the latter in his office. "Mr. An? To what do we owe this pleasure?"

An Yibei adjusted his glasses and gave Director Tao a detached smile. "I offered to buy Mr. Wei a cup of tea, but that heartless guy turned me down. I had no choice but to come to you instead."

Director Tao forced a smile. "Well… do sit down. I'll ask my secretary to bring us some tea."

He dialed a number on the landline and left a few instructions. Looking up, he saw that An Yibei had already sat down and was tapping his fingers lightly on the black table. "Director Tao, I see that you've been quite free lately."
