Sheng Yize looked at her in interest. "Eh? What happened?"
He knew things weren't as simple as what that girl had said earlier!
Jian Xin'er felt encouraged, and carefully considered her words before letting out the whole story in a single breath. "Captain Yize, we all know how that slut An Xiaxia tried to seduce you! We were planning to teach her a lesson, but didn't expect her to actually attack us like this! She's too evil!"
Sheng Yize frowned without a word.
"She seduced me?" He enunciated each word slowly.
"Yes! The whole school is gossiping that she's your woman! How can they possibly say things like this! What a joke!" Jian Xin'er exclaimed with a mocking smile.
However, Sheng Yize's next words froze her on the spot as if she had been electrocuted.
His voice was pleasant to hear and full of charm. When he spoke in a low tone in particular, his voice became even more seductive.
Sheng Yize slowly replied, "If you know she's mine, why did you mess with her?"
What?!
Sheng Yize actually admitted that An Xiaxia was his woman?
A thousand expressions flashed across Jian Xin'er's face and she looked like the most colorful picture.
Ding Yiyi was scared silly. She realized that she had probably just provoked someone she shouldn't have!
Li Canxing frowned and quietly peered at Sheng Yize.
"I don't want to see today's incident happen again. If I see anyone bullying An Xiaxia again…" Sheng Yize paused, a chill permeating the air around him. "There will be consequences!"
The air seemed to freeze.
Jian Xin'er's legs weakened and her body began to shiver uncontrollably. "Captain Yize, I'm sorry. I did it all for you. You have to believe that I really do love you…"
Sheng Yize didn't say a word and headed toward the washroom.
Jian Xin'er stood where she was and clenched her fist tightly as the crowd nearby ridiculed and taunted her.
She knew that in everyone's eyes, she had become a laughing stock.
Was it possible that Sheng Yize had actually developed feelings for An Xiaxia?

The afternoon classes went by in the blink of an eye. An Xiaxia took her small school bag and sneakily left school along the school walls.
Kang Jian followed behind her, copying her catwalk. He sounded intrigued as he asked, "Xiaxia, what are you doing?"
"Shh! Don't speak, otherwise Sheng… the devil will discover us!"
Although Kang Jian didn't understand what she was saying at all, he still followed behind her happily.
"The money you owe Sheng Yize, what are you going to do about it?"
An Xiaxia sadly wiped her imaginary tears away with a small handkerchief. "I've decided. Tomorrow I'll have a fever."

"You fool, don't talk to me!"
Today was Thursday and tomorrow was Friday, so if she pretended to be sick for a day, adding on the weekend, she could avoid Sheng Yize for three whole days!
Haha, I'm so smart! An Xiaxia praised herself in her head.
The next day.
She had requested a day off from the class teacher and was rolling around in bed and dozing lazily when she was woken up by her phone ringing.
Hazily, she picked up the call and low laughter came from the other end. "An Xiaxia, you can't hide forever."
"Mhm…" An Xiaxia mumbled in reply before falling back into her death-like slumber.
Hearing the breathing of the teenage girl in his ear, Sheng Yize felt his own heart soften along with the sound.
However… when he looked at the rental agreement in his hand, the corners of his lips curled up in a wide smile.
