The abilities of these three female Voidwalkers was incredibly revolutionary. The Assassin Walker had incredible speed and evasiveness, supported by the extreme mobility of Coup de Grace; the power of the Fairy Walker's long-ranged attacks exceeded the imagination; the Warrior Walker combat chi and martial arts were both domineering. These three women utilized their abilities to the extreme, unleashing a flurry of powerful punches. Although they were unable to deliver landscape-changing attacks like the giant hammerhead shark plushie which fought Molocchus, their combined attacks were fluid, in sync, and helped cover each other's back.
[1] You know, it’s not an uncommon trope in webnovels to see people train hard for a craft, but it sure IS NOT a staple in WDYSM—since we came in AFTER all of them had become really good at their thing, with Baiyi practically being good in everything just by “thinking” about it. It makes this awesome combo-platter power the three girls used even better. Personally, I like the detail that their training even caused the girls to fight each other out of stress… That’s just so relatable!
Anyway, who am I kidding? This technique is F***ING AWESOME! Three different personalities in one body is quite a popular trope, and—I personally think—done to death with the sub-tropes of “the other personality is super sadistic and evil!” and “the other personality is the real one who has this seriously powerful thing!” and “it’s a personality that has been created because of trauma/being experimented on/genetic mutation/mental breakdown” (not to say these are boring concepts to me; a good and logical story is enough to win me over… I’m a sucker for good stories and characters!) I, however, haven’t gotten enough of personalities that are actually equal in powers and abilities and are actually legit different people squeeze into one body not because of trauma and etc., which then fight by switching in and out of appearance and techniques. There is not even the “this is the sadistic split personality!” thing that I’m not too fond of (because it’s a bit stale and lazy to me); Here, it’s just three different persons (because they are, I know XD). Overall, I just think it’s amazing, and I’ll pay good money to see an anime/movie like that!
