As she continued reading, Sihwa temporarily forgot about the mobile phone on the side and the viewers who were watching her live broadcast. She was simply immersed in Hans Christian Andersen's Fairy Tales.
The underwater world described by Andersen was different from the real underwater world that she knew; it was full of childlikeness and the good things from people's imagination. But that did not prevent her from quickly substituting herself into the smallest mermaid in the fairy tale.
Like the protagonist, she was also infatuated with an illusory prince and was head over heels for him. She couldn't wait to see him and be with him. But life had to play a cruel joke on them.
Both Sihwa and the protagonist had no legs, so they were unable to set foot on land. They could only endure their yearnings for the land day after day as they watched their prince leave them.
