Viết đánh giáI would really love to find out what eventually happened to never winter it’s development and so on and how Tilly is ruling do they still have months of demons and there a new terrorist organization, how far has their technology advancement gone since they are years ahead of every nation and so on. Please author I was wandering if you were comsidering a sequel or a part 2
very good story overall. the world building is great too. although the ending feels very rushed I will still recommend this one.
The summary is a bit odd, but then you start reading. Was rough to try and finish the first chapter. The poor descriptors and generalizations, and flawed information, and massive leaps of logic/readiness to accept those... Maybe I'll come back and give it another try but for now, nope.
It’s a great story, progresses well, interesting characters… my only question is what insane person added a Harem Hashtag to this?
Incredible story, with wonderful world and character development rarely seen in other similar stories. Reading this story is basically a lesson in physics and chemistry, it is impressive how Roland adapts modern technology and integrates it into this world quickly using the powers of witches and allying with them. This is a novel that was truly worth every bit of time spent, with you left feeling sad when it ends. I highly recommend it for those who value good world development and a fascinating and incredible protagonist.
the kingdoms were great, but this book could have ended with the defeat of the church and be arguably better
I've read the first half back in 2018 and I moved back to Canada and forgotten about it. now 5 years later I did my best to find this because I can't forget such an amazing fantasy story. I wish it was a book series and I'd totally buy it in a heartbeat!
Please, don’t tell me Roland was a side character through out this book? It can’t be that all he did was invent stuff…. right??
Second read through. enjoyed as much as the first. I love the technology development they went through.
It is a world of its own, it will be a real place, as long as you immerse yourself in it.Cry, laugh, lament, love. I grew up reading this, over like 6 years, and now the end is nigh.p.s. Nightingale best girl,🕊️
one of the best novels I have read . I read this novel complete twice back to back because I couldn't find anything good for a while. now it's my third time . when I think about it this novel wasn't good for action but adventure , kingdom building and mostly povs ( this novel has best povs )
A very good story but as it was originally written in Chinese and i read the English translation, the quality of the translation affected the story a bit. Chapters concerning the MC were a great joy to read but whenever it turned to other characters such as the church, it became irritating. a better balance could've been achieved if the church was not just a simple dimensional villain
Tiết lộ SpoilerA very well written world building novel. Attention is given to the various relationships and although some gets lost along the way the world building and attention to detail with regards to technological progress more than makes up for it. If you enjoy good writing and science/tech imported from another era coupled to conquest this is for you!
They were some engineering terms And some of the divine battle precedings I couldn't comprehend, but I was still captivated all through.. You are a very talented writer, I love your book[img=recommend][img=recommend]
Honestly, it's a great story. The worst part of it being the main character and the female lead. All of the side characters offer a different perspective to the narrative and the experiences of each varies. The plot was great. It gets a bit convoluted when it tries to explain science using big words, it takes them 3 big paragraphs to explain simple concepts and offers no ELI5, for example the simple gravity siphon, which could be explained with steam pump puts water in the high tower and then it falls to the tap. MC is the bringer of big knowledge from the future. He goes from being a lord only in name to a platoon commander, and gradually his forces grow so much that the later part of his story only have him reading reports of the battles a few months after due to distance. He grows to be hypocritical, being and idealist in feudal times of wars, switches between detrhoning and offering refugees jobs to forceful conscription as the story goes by. And most of all is how backwards he is when it comes to romance. The female lead, well I can only describe her personality as a wet mop. Aside from being described as a combat witch, who only maybe fights twice, she is mostly used as a soldering gun, and sometimes as a wall to bounce "novel" concepts with the MC using big words. Personality wise she is almost non existent. Which is a shame because she ends up with the MC. Literally even coach drivers that get 2 chapters have more in depth character and development than her. All things considered it's a good story, you get to see the growth in all the side characters and the town from border town to empire and the department ministers.
This is a pretty good Novel except for only 2 wives out of a truck load which pains me it's a great novel definitely worth reading
This book held my life on the edge for an entire year and after that year I can say this is by far the best story I have ever absorbed. Be it books or shows this single book has taken the cake for best story I have ever seen. The ending surprised me but it was a worthwhile ending I felt it tied the important pieces together but left some things for the viewer to wonder about and contemplate which I find is alright leaves some space for the rest of us readers to infer and be intruiged by the possibilities. Either way, author of you see this… PLEASE continue Nightingales side story I want to see a prologue volume or somethingggg. Either way simply more would be spectacular. But what you’ve created so far has been amazing and you made my life much better because of it. Thank you!
This is an epic story that captivates readers, the writer sure is very talented. I was intrigued throughout.
