Chương 158: A father's love

Kaili went to her father's company after getting permission from Manager Clara to come late to the office. In the president director's room, sat a middle-aged man who was pensive while staring out the room's glass wall. Kaili's heart throbbed seeing this scene. It was like she had just been hit by something hard.

She walked over to the man. It seemed that the middle-aged man was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the footsteps that were getting closer to him. Once the distance between the two of them was close, Kaili extended her arms around the man from behind.

"Papa…"

Finally, the man was awake. He patted the hand of the girl who called him 'papa'.

"You came?" His voice was calm as if there was no anger in it.
