Gender Bender Card x2
Froakie
Looking at the cards, I gotta say, not bad definitely enough to get started.
I even got two templates, both from anime a quirk user and a coder. Not OP, but hey, as they say, something's better than nothing.
Especially Atsuhiro. With his quirk, Compress, I don't have to worry about carrying or stealing resources. Which, let's be honest, I'll need to do soon enough
The Ebony Odogaron corpse? Straight out of Monster Hunter.
The Predator tech is cool Bio-Helmet and Wrist Gauntlet. I could repurpose that into a custom suit. I'll need a proper tech template to really max its potential, though.
The Rorschach Mask? Great for intimidation factor. People fear what they don't understand.
Worm Mode… a one-time-use card that lets me pull templates or items from the Worm universe. Honestly, I wish I had a Tinker template already. Those guys can build literally anything.
I don't think I'll ever pull an Entity template, but with gacha, you never know. Anything's possible, right?
Honestly?
With the level of chaos in some other worlds, Marvel doesn't seem that bad. At least I didn't land in a Lovecraftian nightmare or something.
The Gender Bender Card? It swaps the gender of a character card. I'll hang onto it might come in handy if I wanna assimilate a female character later.
The Contract Cards let me make someone a summon without actually summoning them. Now, that is a handy feature, especially if I end up jumping between worlds.
And finally, there's Greninja's first stage Froakie. Honestly, it's in my top 10 favourites. But I'm not summoning him right now.
I've already started assimilating Atsuhiro. Compress is too useful to ignore.
3%...
As the excitement settled, I turned to the next task figuring out the timeline.
It's March 2nd, 2007.
Sitting at the PC, I skimmed through the news.
Same old story mutants are hated by most.
Magneto's been out there, attacking all over the place, making his point loud and clear. And yeah, people fear him government, public, everyone.
He's like Grindelwald to Xavier's Dumbledore. One wants supremacy, the other wants understanding. Both have their ideals, but neither really tries anything practical.
I mean, let's be real Grindelwald and Magneto can't take on the whole world by themselves. And Dumbledore and Xavier? They'll never fully convince people to just get along.
A lot of people hate Magneto, sure. But some see him as a necessary evil. It's because of him that people are cautious about messing with mutants.
That video of him? The one where he turns soldiers' guns on them with just a flick of his hand? Yeah, that was terrifying. Gave me chills just watching it.
And Xavier? He might seem like the "good guy," but let's not kid ourselves. A telepath of his level, especially with a tool like Cerebro? He could cause as much, if not more, destruction than Magneto if he ever wanted to.
There's a big green monster fighting the military. So, yeah, Hulk's already in play. Not like I'm itching to meet him or anything, though.
I think I saw something about Red Hulk in a new trailer. Still haven't gotten around to watching it fully, though.
There's also this news about a fire skull showing up. People are saying it's just some edited video.
Ghost Rider.
I've gotta track down some divine or holy weapons, though either from this world or the next. If I don't get lucky in the gacha, I'll have to look elsewhere.
Some are saying vampires are real. Sure, no one's buying it now, but give it some time. They'll believe soon enough.
Tony Stark's gone missing.
Last month, he traveled to the Middle East and got attacked.
If I had some cash, I'd be buying up those shares, but I'm not about to risk SHIELD showing up at my door.
The Fantastic Four's already been born, but they haven't gone full superhero mode yet. They got powers like six months ago, and there's no sign of Doom yet.
No major updates, but they've been out saving people. Mostly Johnny Storm, though.
I plop onto the couch and start thinking about the future.
A lot of people would wanna be a hero if they were in my place. I'm not against it. Heroes are necessary, you know? Someone like Spider-Man, showing the positive side of things.
Then there's the anti-hero side of things. That's more my speed, or at least closer to what I've been or will keep being.
I'm not afraid of killing. Honestly, I'll probably do a lot more of it while I'm here.
But then what?
Do I start making plans to save the world? Try to save the mutants? Prevent Thanos from snapping?
All of that's probably coming, considering I'm sticking around here for a while. But right now, what I really want to know is What else is there? What's next?
Ugh, whatever. I can't think of anything else right now.
