Taga and Keomi talked about what had happened for the rest of the day, even taking their conversation out of school. They would both eat at one of the restaurants near Keomi's home. The two would be sitting at a window booth while eating some udon noodles. Taga would finish her noodles and drink the broth in the bowl before putting her bowl down.
"AHHHH! OOOOOOOOOOooooo I love udon! The texture, the taste of the broth, and man the spice. God I love spicy food." Taga said. "I agree, there's really nothing better than-" Keomi then noticed that Taga was gone, she looked around and even under the table. She then looked to her right and saw Taga at the counter talking to the cheif.
"Oh my goodness." Keomi said.
"Excuse me great chief!" shouted Taga getting other people's attention. The chief turned around and looked at her. "Yes?"
"My adequate sir! me, an intellectual would like to let a peasant such as yourself know that me, an intellectual, as a customer am deeply grateful with your contribution to the culinary arts! this mixture of slimy and flexible martial also referred to as noodles, and the mixture of the liquid substance within known as broth; has in fact made my day, this me, an intellectual now tell a peasant such as yourself. That the great sage, as graced you and I am here to deilver to you that you, a magnificent mixologist, a pure alchemist such as yourself have graced me, an intellectual this day! concerning a greatness me, an intellectual will never forget and a will slowly but surely decompose concerning their final thoughts being of this...
udon noodles." Taga said. She then looked over and dropped some yen into the small container next to the cashier, who also was looking at her with concern. The chief just stared at Taga confused as she stared at him with a wide smile.
"So thank you, can I have some to go please?" Taga asked as Keomi just sat at their table. Eventually, the two would sit down and begin to talk about what had happened.
"I can't believe we met a real Yokai." Keomi said
"Yea, it was...well, I can't even say the words to describe it." Taga said excitedly. "He said he wanted out help, as much as I want to and I know I agreed to it. My only concern is, how exactly do we do that? Like, where do we even start?" Keomi asked.
"Hmmm, good question. Perhaps its something we could sleep on." Taga said.
"Oooor, we could talk about it now and get some stuff out of the way before we go back to school tomorrow." Keomi said. Taga snapped her fingers with a smile.
"That too, that works too!" Taga smiled. Keomi and her then began to review some ideas for how they could help the Onigiri-Yokai on his quest to investigate the school for evil spirits. As they did the wind howled outside, and the leaves on the trees outside flowed sweetly. Eventually, the two would end up splitting up and going home. Keomi is sitting lying on her bed at home. Her eyes were wide open as she stared at the ceiling. Her eyes lingered on it as her thoughts went back to the events of today. Spirits exist, and they want her to help them find the root of the disappearance of boys at her school.
She smiled to herself, "What a great school day." she thought as Keomi then began to fall asleep.
