Sophia immediately added, "Mom, you're saying Ryan wants to set up his equipment there. But with all the clutter at home, even if I'm willing to move to that room, there won't be much space left."

"Exactly, Mom, there's way too much junk in the house," Lily protested.

"Look at how spacious this house is, but the three rooms upstairs are filled with so much stuff that it's starting to smell. Can't we just get rid of it?"

The sisters were truly united as they began to complain about Olivia's unnecessary frugality.

Olivia, for her part, wasn't the most diligent housekeeper. Most of the chores were handled by Lily, with Vera helping out when she came home during holidays.

Over the years, the house had accumulated a mountain of items that the sisters deemed entirely useless. Nearly all three rooms upstairs were stuffed with things, taking up a lot of space.
