When Sophia got home, she wiped the sweat off her little nose and said, "It's so hot, Mom. We should get an air conditioner for the living room. Our living room isn't big, and if we close the sliding door to the kitchen, it'll cool down quickly."

Olivia rolled her eyes after hearing this and said, "It's easy to talk, but who's paying? How about you and Lily split the cost?"

Talking about money made Sophia feel a little annoyed, and her expression carried a hint of helplessness.

"Mom, my sister isn't working right now, so where would she get the money?"
