Lily gave Ryan a soft look, silently signaling him not to order anything too expensive. Ryan smiled, kissed her on the cheek, and then called the waiter:
"My mom loves Mutton—let's get the Wagyu platter, and add an extra serving of Grilled Mutton."
"For my wife, she loves seafood. Please steam the Hong Kong lobster, and make the shrimp heads with salt and pepper."
"Sweetheart, you love mantis shrimp, right? Let's also get a serving of king prawns..."
Lily with her reserved demeanor, felt a little overwhelmed listening to the lavish orders.
Thankfully, Ryan glanced back at the menu and added, "Let's include a Caesar salad for something light, and for the three ladies, a bowl of abalone and ginseng soup each."
"And for drinks, a bottle of your best red wine, please."
After the waiter left, Charlotte couldn't resist saying, "Olea, your son-in-law is much more generous than you."
