Chương 6: Gifts and Confrontations
Surprise Update, I'm still going strong on the story, even though I really wince at the cringe I write, but you guys seem to enjoy it due to how much views it gets daily, enjoy, sorry for rushed pace. I just felt like I really needed to update it today.
Danny sighed in content, he felt secure and proud. Looking at Lucia was like looking at Ember, she was perfect, there was no doubt about that she was probably going to follow in her mother's footsteps.
"Hey Dipstick, aren't going to hold onto your daughter, it's the least you can do after I gave birth to her." Ember asked with a blush on her face, Danny snapped out of his thoughts.
"Oh right..." Danny said in good jest, Ember walked towards him and gently handed Lucia over to him, Lucia was still looking on at both of them, curiously, Ember leaned over and kissed Lucia then she kissed Danny.
"I love both of you guys" Ember stated, Danny looked onto Ember, the ghost rocker princess had a heartwarming smile on her, Danny kissed her back, causing her to blush, while also kissing Lucia also.
"Thanks for everything. I'm so happy that we're finally a family." He stated softly, "I couldn't believe we were enemies, lets promise never to fight in front of Lucia."
She agreed, "Unless I'm beating you in a game or something like that." She giggled, he rolled his eyes.
"AWWWWW"
They both turned around, it was Spectra and Kitty again.
"Dammit, I forgot you guys were here, can't we ever have privacy." She grumbled.
"They both laughed, its not our fault, you guys just make such a cute couple, I remember when Danny told me that he wanted to get married to you when he was in Casper High and looks like it came the dream came true."
Ember looked at Danny who had an embarrassed expression on his face, when they were enemies there was a sort of sexual tension from there every time they fought, they would flirt sometimes and when they landed on each other, Ember would grind on his groin for a nanosecond, feeling his erection poke out.
"Okay okay, we get it." Danny shook his head.
"Besides, while you were giving birth, we were doing something a little bit special," Spectra smirked, taking off her glasses.
This caused Ember and Danny to both raise their eyebrows in confusion, "What did you guys do?"
"You might need some blindfolds for this" Kitty giggled, the couple gave a fed-up nod and agreed to be blindfolded, but before Ember gave Lucia to Spectra.
They walked gingerly to the other side of Ember's zone, there was a room that Kitty opened with a tiny key.
"Take off the Blindfolds now" Kitty commanded, Ember and Danny did so. They both gasped in amazement, it was Lucia's new room, which was painted Blue and Grey as a color scheme. There was a large window that you could see throughout the ghost zone, it was an appropriate interior.
"It's so beautiful," Ember sighed, her emerald green eyes twinkling as she surveyed her room, to the rat sat a nice furnished space with tons of toys, a comfy-looking chair, and much to Danny's delight a Flat screen TV, and also toy guitars and instruments that she can play on.
"Whoa, so amazing, when did you guys-"
"You guys haven't seen anything yet." Spectra added, "Lucia needs tons of space for her wardrobe." As she pointed out, the closet was completely large and had a silver cover that was soft on the eyes.
Ember expressed much more excitement than her boyfriend.
"That's a big closet, I don't think I can fill out half of this thing with my own clothes." Danny stated, his mouth wide.
"Well, we can just take you shopping here." Ember blinked lovingly.
"Yeah and get swarmed by everyone that's hates my guts," Danny said rolling his eyes, Ember glared at him.
"Don't worry honey, you have me to protect you, I dare anyone to come here near us. They would be dead."
"I mean, we're ghosts, so we kind of are already dead." Spectra laughed, her fingers touching Lucia's cheeks, causing her to laugh.
"Oh we almost forgot, we brought some presents for Lucia." Kitty said grabbing her hands in a delighted mood, the couple both had surprised looks.
"B-but you guys have done so much, and there's still more?" Ember questioned.
"Oh please, Lucia deserves the best to two amazing parents" Spectra smiled, this was a really special time, Ember and Danny were happy to celebrate this moment, even though she won't have the memory of it as a ghost baby of the event.
Still Spectra and Kitty wanted to make everything special, especially for Danny, who's been through hell with his mom kicking him out, he was nervous about the future, but none of it matter now. Danny loved Lucia with all his mind that it completely washed his mind.
"Okay Lucia." Danny announced excitedly as he rubbed his nose with her small nose, "Who's ready to open up some gifts."
"Baby pop, I don't think she understands what's going on" Ember giggled.
"Yeah," Spectra agreed, "In fact, she's probably thinking about how two sworn enemies got hooked up together." Spectra laughed at her own joke, Ember and Danny blushed.
"Perhaps, but that's in the past, come on. Lets see what you guys gave to her, I kind of feel ashamed that I didn't get her anything." He stated in a guilty tone.
"Me too," Ember added. "But I gave her to gift of being of eternal life."
"You don't need to get her anything, you gave both of us a gift, Lucia. The best gift we could ever asked for, an amazing surprise."
"Yeah, surprises." Ember kissed Lucia's soft forehead. "That's what you guys are, a beautiful little surprise."
"Come on Spectra and Kitty, I want to see her gifts."
"Ladies first." Spectra shook a finger at her son. "Or in this case, counselor's first."
"And the spoiling begins," Danny gave Ember an all knowing glance, and she returned the favor."
Spectra and Kitty walked over to the closet and grabbed the bags of gifts for the newborn. They seperated them into two groups of five, causing both Ember and Danny's mouth to gap wide open.
"We didn't buy all of it," Spectra said, waving her hand. "Some of them were made but us, so we didn't buy all it." Spectra repeated again, Kitty agreed.
"Ohhh boy," Ember laughed, pulling her knees up to her chest.
"Come on Danny, help them open the presents!" Spectra excitedly clapped her hands together. "Oh, I hope you guys enjoy we brought for them."
"I'm sure its all great," Ember smiled happily, "Especially if the things you guys made."
It took a while to tear all 10 presents, considering Danny was doing the work with opening the presents while Ember continued to play with Lucia who was babbling softly.
The gifts for Lucia were of wonderful variety and gifts. Everything from toys to clothes to decorations for the nursery they were to have in the family's home in Ember's zone.
"Oh Spectra and Kitty, everything you guys brought is so awesome!" Ember cooed as she held a blue shirt and some green plush guitars.
"I adore the plushie you made for her." Danny stated, Ember nodded also.
"It was my idea." Kitty announced, "I'm glad you liked them, I know Lucia is very very little, but maybe she'll like what she got."
"Are you kidding, she's going to love them." Ember cooed, Danny held the toys in front of Lucia who cooed in amazement. Ember and Danny both kissed Lucia on the cheek.
After all the presents were opened and the dinner was eating, Ember did well on her word and dressed the baby up in her new clothes'.
Lucia looked quite cute in the crib with a green onesie and a cute bracelet.
"Isn't she so adorable, our little baby, she's going to do great things when she grows up."
"GUYS!" Spectra shouted, which startled everyone including Lucia who began to cry, Spectra came into the room.
"Spectra, what the heck!" Ember growled, she cradled Lucia to stop her tears.
"I'm really sorry its just tha-" Spectra was cut off by Kitty.
"The Ghost Zone news is talking about Ember, and you're not going to like it."
Both Ember and Danny gasped, this isn't good, Ember had already been a little distant to her whereabouts and her complete lack of interest for messing with the human world for the past few months was documented, raising eyebrows, why wasn't she trying to take over the world again.
They all walked and the Flat screen TV was playing the news.
"Ember McClain, the Ghost Zone's Princess Rockstar who wanted everyone to remember her name, is now infamous for her relationship with Danny." A man on TV said in a stern way, he had a camera around hs neck and big wide glasses, "I've been documenting this for quite some time."
He then produced photographs of them together, to the eternal embarrassment of both of them, Ember was in a rage, she wanted to tear his head off if she could, the photographs he produced was pictures of them holding hands, kissing, and going on several dates years prior.
"Take a look, our ghost rocker is now in bed with Danny Phantom, even the hospital that gave birth to their child kept their mouths silent. How can she proclaim herself to be the greatest ghost on record if she's uh... Tasted him before if I do say so myself." He snickered, the newswoman laughed at his joke.
Ember growled, "I'll m-murder him!" She said with such venom, Danny walked over to her and calmed her down, hoping to be the voice of reason.
"Babe, relax. Nothing will happen to us like you said."
"Some weird paparazzi creep has been stalking us for the past several months!" Ember began to panic, she was afraid this might have happen.
"L-lets calm down a bit." Danny tried to soothe the situation.
"Look it doesn't matter what will happen," Spectra calmed down, reassessing the situation, "I've seen this coming for a long time, we should have been better prepared for something like this, you guys deserve to be able to enjoy you're lives, especially with Lucia." She stated, staring down at the innocent ghost baby.
"Yes we need to focus on Lucia and only Lucia, we can't afford any distraction and besides, we don't want Danny and Lucia getting hurt." Ember stated, Danny kissed both of them.
"Thanks, but I can handle myself just fine, we just need to worry about her." Danny said.
*KNOCK KNOCK* *BOOM BOOM BOOM*
"Uh oh." Danny stated.
The door was smashed wide open and a group of ghosts from the zone confronted the two.
"I knew it! I had a sick feeling!" One of them stated.
"You Whore! How'd you enjoy fucking the half-wit ghost boy, I thought you were with Skulker" The Lunch Lady ghost said.
"I'll bash you're skulls in!" One buff ghost stated.
"Let me add em!" The box ghost out of nowhere stated, Ember all of a sudden just snapped, she let Danny take Lucia and gave them a brutal verbal beat down.
"Listen you idiots. I'm in love with Danny, I don't care what happens to me, you guys are actually the worse, stalking us, trying to intimidate us like this, all of you are just horrible people. This is my afterlife now, I'm in control of my fate, and you won't control mine. If you try to harm one hair on Danny and Lucia, I'm going to grab my guitar and banish all of you. You guys are going to have to leave now or I swear." She grabbed her guitar and pointed it at them.
"You'll all be sorry." Her eyes turned red, full of fury. Danny's eyes were in shock
The ghost were about to protest, when all of a sudden Ember strung her guitar as projectiles landed on the group, sending each ghost scattering. Never to return, Spectra then fixed the door using her magic.
Ember was breathing hard, her eyes were still red and full of fury.
"Thank you Ember." He whispered, kissing her on the lips.
Lucia stared at them, babbling, completely oblivious to what happened with her parents and what just happened.
"Its okay sweetheart." Ember tickled her chest, "No matter what they do, nothing bad is going to happen to you."
Danny smiled at Ember, "You have no idea how relived I am to hear that."
"Me too Dipstick, I'm just really tired of the whole situation," She sighed, sitting down on her couch. The actions took a tole on her, coupled with child birth, she seemed really tired.
"Go sleep." Kitty and Spectra both said in Unison, Ember looked at Danny for his approval she didn't want him to work on Lucia all by herself.
"Its okay Ember, you're sleeping for the both of us." He stated, Lucia looked at her mother and blinked twice, she then started to cry, she was moving her hands flailing them, her hair was beginning to become all fizzy.
"Looks like she wants to join you." He said laughing, Ember nodded and floated towards her, grabbing her and leading her into her nursery.
Skulker was inside his dingy zone drinking some energy drinks when the news of Ember dating Danny and having a child with her surfaced on the news, it was some time that he dated Ember, but she was just tired of his shenanigan's, she was tired of all the gaslighting, she felt like she could do better, and broke up with him. The humiliations he felt was horrible, he was getting laughed at in the bars, his mates were always jabbing him about the situation, not only was he a lousy hunter, but he had lost her to Danny, his sworn enemy. To him, how could it get to this point.
He screamed out, he wanted to have revenge, this was too much for him, he was just going to march in and destroy them, but but he couldn't, he wouldn't dare too, there were rumors that Ember told off a group of ghosts, they had saw something in her eyes that made them fearful, and now that Danny was there, he couldn't beat both of them, and with them having a baby together, was he was going to go after them, he was a bounty hunter, not a complete monster, but he smiled, he would just buy time and wait until he could get that opportunity.
