Chương 5: Meeting Lucia Mcclain
Apologies, if this is short, I just came back from work and I just wanted to get something out for this story, its been what like 3 years, a lot has happened since then, but im in a much happier place and just wanted to say thank you for your support, did you guys know that this story has like 31,000 hits, that's awesome and I felt sorry for not updating for that long.
I kind of cringe at this because I made this at the time during my last few months in High School in 2016. But you guys really like it for some reason, i'm flattered ;)
I'm also a Dumbass for not even including what Lucia looks like in the last chapter. So it will be more detailed but short here.

It had been the morning since, Lucia's birth, Danny was sleeping on the side of the hospital bed with Ember, although she was happy and cheerful, she was overwhelmed by everything. Sooner or later the entire ghost world will know that it was Danny Phantom. The one who kept them in check in the human realm for years that impregnated her, and not only that she loves him dearly. Who knew that after so many fights between them with Danny trying to stop ember from taking over the world? That they would end up together.
And then, after everything, they became parents to a new baby.
"Good Morning." His voice sounded like silk as he wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder. "You're still looking beautiful." He kissed her neck softly before nuzzling against her cheek.
She chuckled slightly at how sweet he was before pulling him closer, pressing his forehead into hers. "I'm so glad you're okay." She whispered, running her hand through his hair slowly. "If anything happened to you..."
He sighed deeply, pressing another kiss to her cheek. "I should be saying that to you," Danny softly spoke.
All of a sudden Lucia woke up, causing them both to gasp. They sat there staring down at their daughter's face as she made noises quietly in her sleep while kicking her legs slightly. Lucia's eyes began to open up, although she was a ghost/human hybrid, she had Danny's blue eyes, which were sparkling and full of curiosity, and Ember's blue hair. Her skin looked very pale blue. Which is quite common.
"You have very cute eyes little lady" Danny laughed lightly, gently scooped her up, and held her close to his chest.
"Danny, I want her." She stated. "I gave birth to her." She whined.
"Okay just Relax!" Danny laughed. "We were sleeping and you just sprang up suddenly, we don't want the Queen of Ghost Rock to collapse right."
"Ugh, you're right. Springing up like that made my head hurt a little bit." Ember sighed, she leaned back on the pillow and showed up with a beautiful smile, "Can I please hold her now."
Lucia began to whimper and squirm inside his arms, she managed to free her arms and flair them towards her, her cries only increasing in pitch with each second.
"Yeah, I think she really wants you to hold her."
Danny giggled, sitting back down in bed next to her. He carefully placed her back into her mother's hands.
Ember looked down at their daughter. She was so precious. She had Ember's nose and hair, along with Danny's blue eyes. But she definitely inherited her father's complexion and facial features.
"I love her," Ember beamed as she looked at her daughter, tears sliding down her face. "She's so innocent. And she's healthy. I mean she has to be since we're technically ghosts, but that's all I could ask for. Thank you so much baby pop, I know we were once sworn enemies, but being here with you and Lucia is all I could ask for. We'll be the best parents." Ember bit her lip, blushing.
Danny leaned towards her and kissed her forward, and then kissed Lucia's forehead.
"Of course, we'll be the best parents. You already did an amazing job giving birth to her." Danny showed a cheeky grin.
Ember chuckled lightly as she continued to look at her daughter. Lucia began to coo happily, and Ember let out a deep sigh.
"Oh my gosh, this is so wonderful. Our child is ours. She is our daughter, she's ours..."
"Thank god I get to get rid of those dumb hospital robes."
Danny smiled at his wife, who was driving them back to their house after the residing nurses stated that she was okay, pregnant ghost woman wren't in hospitals for that long, just for a few hours. in the ghost zone, Danny had to be very careful not to cause any attention, he was just not looking forward to a swarm of paparazzi invading them just yet. After just a few minutes, they walked to Ember's realm. They opened the door and were taken in for a shock.
"Surprise!" Spectra and Kitty shouted, causing them to almost jump back slightly.
"What are you doing here?!" Danny exclaimed, glaring at them.
"Psh, like I'm going to miss my best friend's baby" Kitty rolled his eyes at Danny, Lucia was just curiously staring at them, and Ember was wrapping her in many baby blankets for warmth
"Awwww, who's this little champ!" Spectra asked. Floating towards her, Kitty also wanted to get a view.
"What a cutey, what's her name!" Kitty said, reaching a finger to poke her cheek.
"Don't poke her" Danny sternly said.
"Hey, it's not like I'm gonna scare her or anything.
Look at her! She's so tiny!" Kitty said, holding her arms out for the newborn baby. Ember handed Lucia to Kitty, whose eyes immediately lit up.
"Em there is no way you can hide her forever, especially the ghost media, when they this little angel they're gonna lose it." Kitty squealed.
"That's what we're trying to avoid, I have a feeling that many ghosts are still so happy with me being here." Danny sighed, it wasn't his fault, he had to protect the human realm from there. Spectra looked at her and really felt he was nervous.
"Danny, if anyone even touches her they'll be dead meat." She clenched her fist, gritting her teeth. Ember walked over to Danny who touched his shoulder, she could feel his nervousness, she had them too.
All of a sudden Lucia began to cry in Kitty's arms, causing Ember and Danny to turn their heads to the noise
"Oh um s-sorry, she just started!"
Ember sighed, floated towards her daughter, who looked extremely upset because of that sound she was hearing, and stroked her cheek softly.
"There there baby, it's alright. Mommy got you...you're safe, you're okay. Everything is fine, are you hungry?" Ember spoke in a soft tone, smiling reassuringly.
Danny watched his wife with admiration. The way she handled Lucia calmed him down a lot. Lucia was calm within her mommy, and Danny couldn't help but wonder why he and his mom never had a similar relationship, technically they did when he was little, but when he got older and turned into a ghost, he started to distance himself from her, trying to cover his identity up, and when he met Ember, who secretly had a crush on him, the rest was history.
