Chương 2: 2 Celebrations at Singhania's
Two Weeks Later
Singhania Mansion, Mumbai
The luxurious Singhania mansion buzzed with a joyous energy. It has been two weeks since the birth of little Veer, and the Singhania couple had decided to host a celebration to introduce their newborn to their close friends (Singhania family consist of only two people now three including Aditya Singhania, his wife Saanvi Singhania and their newborn son Veer Singhania). The preparation was in full swing as chandeliers glittered, floral decorations adorned every corner, and the staff worked tirelessly to make the eve Khanna, Aditya's closest friend, visited the mansion frequently to check on the Singhania couple and Veer to ensure if they need anything. His visits were always welcomed with warmth, and Saanvi often said "Brother Raghunath, I think that you can't stay away from this cute baby whose name is Veer, right?" hearing this Raghunath, who is looking at Veer in Saanvi's arms replies, " You're absolutely right Saanvi and believe me I am quite fond of him now and I will ensure that I come and visit here often so that Veer here gets to see his handsome and intelligent uncle regularly."
Hearing Raghunath's reply to Saanvi chuckles.
Raghunath looks here and there to look for Aditya and when he doesn't see Aditya, he asks Saanvi "Saanvi, now where is Aditya? Don't tell me he went to work. Its not even 2 weeks since Veer's birth and he went to the Company to work." Hearing Raghunath misunderstanding her husband Aditya's absence in the mansion Saanvi clarifies " No, no brother Raghunath, Aditya had not gone to the company for 2 weeks he just went to invite some friends, colleagues and executives for today's celebration."
Raghunath replies," Ah! oops sorry looks like I jumped to the conclusion too soon," and laughs it off. Saanvi too chuckles at Raghunath's comical apology.
At Aditya's side, he went to his friend's home to invite them. First, he goes to Ajay and Kajal Dutta's home, a jovial couple who had been their long-time friends. Ajay teased Aditya saying, " Finally, the great Aditya Singhania has a son. I hope you're ready for sleepless nights and diaper disasters."
Hearing her husband's banter Kajal bonks him on the head and says, " You talk like you're the one changing diapers."
Massaging his head with a hurtful expression on his face Ajay replies, " Ok. My mistake you're the one raising Reyansh and changing his diapers."
Aditya seeing the duo's playful banter stifles his laugh and says, " As much as I like to see you get beaten up by Kajal, Ajay I am short on time so make sure you are there on time. No excuses. And bring Reyansh with you."
Saying this Aditya leaves the Dutta house and went to Vikram and Shalini Pandey's home. There too he invites the duo after some small talk with the couple and leaves for home. Just when he arrived at Singhania mansion Aditya sees Raghunath leaving so he stops Raghunath "Hey! Raghunath you are coming tonight for the celebrations, right? And don't tell me you have experiments, or some work its final that you're coming okay."
Raghunath replies "Of course I will come Aditya, and I have already taken 2 days off from work, don't worry."
After the two friends talked, they each went to do their own things as there is much to do before the party starts and guests arrive.
Evening 7'O Clock
Singhania mansion gleamed with opulence. The guests began arriving, greeted by a smiling Aditya and Saanvi. Both were dressed elegantly, though Saanvi in her subtle yet regal saree that radiated motherly warmth.
Ajay and Kajal arrived first with Reyansh, carrying a beautifully wrapped package having " Baby's First Wardrobe" written on it. "For the little prince," Kajal said handing it to Saanvi. "And for you, my dear, some pampering essentials. You deserve it."
Vikram and Shalini followed, with Shalini presenting an expensive brand-new baby blanket. " This is for Veer," she said.
Raghunath was fashionably late, as expected. He walked in holding what looked like a high-tech baby monitor. "Presenting the Raghunath Khanna Baby Care Device 1.0. It monitors sleep, temperature, and even soothes crying babies with calming sounds."
Everyone burst into laughter as Aditya clapped him on the back. " Trust you to turn a baby gift into a science experiment."
Hearing this Raghunath with a pained expression reply, "Hey! I thought hard on it, and I came to this decision, so I personally made this baby Care device for Veer. What's wrong with it? And I believe every gift is best in its own way as long as the giver gives it with love."
Hearing this all of them laughed heartily.
As the evening progressed, the star of the celebration, little Veer, made his grand entrance in Saanvi's arms sleeping peacefully. The guest gathered around, eager to catch a glimpse of the newborn and hold him for a little while. The camera lit up the room many times as friends and family took turns holding Veer, each one marveling at his tiny hands and cute expression he makes while asleep.
Ajay, holding Veer carefully, joked, "Look at this little guy. Reyansh, look you got a playmate for you." And his son Reyansh who is 1 year old looks at Veer and touches Veer's cheeks and says, " Dad, he will play with me?"
Ajay replies to Reyansh while ruffling his hair, "Yes, Reyansh but not now when he grows up a little then you can play with Veer."
Raghunath, cradling Veer next, looked thoughtful. "Hey Aditya, how about I become Veer's Godfather. I am very fond of him."
As the party was reaching its end, Aditya raised a glass, "Thank you all for being here to celebrate this special moment with us. Veer's arrival has filled our lives with joy, joy of being a parent, and we are blessed to have such wonderful friends to share this happiness with. And Vikram and Shalini I think you're next in line for kids. Here's to Veer and all of our kids, the light of our lives."
The room echoed with chuckles, laughs, cheers and clinking glasses while Shalini's face went red from embarrassment and Vikram the ever macho stroking his chest said, "Don't worry Aditya soon there will be a celebration in our home."
As the night drew close, the guests left with smiles, carrying fond memories of the celebration. Aditya and Saanvi, now alone in their room with Veer, looked at their sleeping child and smiled.

VISHAL_SINGH_4070 here's a chapter just after mc's birth now some of you may think that the story is too slow paced and for them i have a answer that in the next chapter there is a 17 yr time skip that's why i posted this chapter as to make the coming chapter's mc interaction understandable and worry not for i will provide some sneaks into the past 14 yrs occassionally through mc's pov in the coming chapters.
