Chương 3: Chapter 3: Consequences

Morgan's action of binding the Divine Grail had far more consequences, more than simply severing the Clairvoyance of all those present.

It caused a dramatic shift in the world that everyone with even the slightest hint of mystical awareness could feel. The Mystery that had been fading away over time, the essence of magic and the divine, suddenly stopped its decline.

Of course, Morgan would feel it if she wasn't more interested in something else; at this time, in her room, she was feeling what infinite Mana meant.

If not Morgan wasn't a mage specialized in fighting, she would feel even more invulnerable, but even so, so many ideas are popping out in her head, thinking about what she could do.

Morgan is someone who specializes in too many domains like Homoculus creation, Alchemy, Curse, Ritual Magecraft like summoning, Familiar Creation, Weapon Enhancement, and Items Creating like Mordred's sword Clarent and many more.

Just take a Ritual Magecraftb, summoning to be precise; the more Mana spent, the greater the summoned creatures will be; summon creatures able to fight against Heroic Spirit.

Of course, this is the most basic and crudest way to use her infinite magic, but even so, this would be so cool.

Just when she was happy thinking about the future, the door of her room, which she hadn't set any kind of protection before entered, was opened; who could it be but the Flower Magician, Merlin?

He knows that the reason why his Clairvoyance isn't working must be because of Morgan. The last thing he saw with his Clairvoyance was different presents where Morgan acted out of her script.

As for Morgan, she was at first surprised, and seeing Merlin, her heart beat a little; fortunately, the Divine Grail was inside her after binding, or Merlin may have seen it.

Having regained her calm, she looked at him and said: "Can I see as an insult from the mage court to enter the princess's room without authorization, Merlin?"

After scrutinizing her, Merlin returned to his playful expression: "Oh my, why so serious, Morgan? I just thought you might be happy about the strange events happening, so I came to offer a toast."

He even took some kind of beer from nowhere, nonetheless, Morgan wasn't interested, she said: "Happy? If you are trying to make me explode with anger, then you are about to succeed."

In truth, she misunderstood Merlin's intentions. She thought he was trying to provoke her by reminding her that Artoria had taken the Throne instead of her.

But it was Morgan's happiness, combined with the sensation of her infinite Mana giving her the sensation of invincibility that made her a bit irrational. If she were in a clearer state of mind, she would have realized that Merlin had no reason to provoke her and that it wasn't his nature.

Luckily, Merlin noticed her misunderstanding and quickly clarified, "What I meant was, don't you feel that Mystery has stopped fading?"

Morgan murmured, surprised, "The Mystery stopped fading?"

It was only then that she realized that the Ether in the atmosphere, which had been shifting into Oxygen with every breath, had stopped its transformation.

Morgan was even more surprised; you have to know that the end of the Age Of Gods is inevitable, and the world would eventually enter the Age Of Man.

Then she immediately thought of something, this world is now independent, not something that Gaia and Alaya can interf- wait, Gaia?

If she remembers correctly, one of the major reasons the Age Of Gods ended was because the collective unconscious of humanity (as represented by the Counter Force) reshaped the world to prioritize human-centric progress over divine or magical rule.

Rising from humanity's instinct to survive, Alaya prioritizes practical, tangible solutions over reliance on mystical or divine forces.

She encouraged the development of science, logic, and technology, which provide more reliable and predictable means of survival than faith in the supernatural. This shift towards rationality causes the collective belief in Mystery to weaken, leading to its gradual decline.

Without Alaya's intervention to choose what it thinks is the best way for humanity by suppressing mystery, it was only a matter of time before the return of the Age Of Gods, but something accelerated this process, that was Morgan's identity as a Fae (fairy).

The fae, like other phantasmal creatures, exist as extensions of Gaia's will; after binding the Divine Grail, Morgan can indeed cut off this world from external interference like Alaya.

But she instinctively didn't do so to Gaia; the latter was a little bit like her mother and without the interference of Alaya and not being cut off by Morgan, Gaia, as the planet's conscious, of course, chose what was best for her.

In essence, the continuation of the Age Of Gods is better than the planet, but because of Alaya, she could only compromise. Now, she, of course, chooses what Is best for her.

She didn't know how Morgan made Alaya unable to interfere or not even know about this world, and theoretically, she should have sent a counterforce guardian because this world is an essence like a Lostbelt, but she didn't do so and chose to observe.

Morgan, who was still with Merlin after figuring out what happened, broke out of cold sweat and couldn't help but murmur: "What a huge mistake."

She obviously didn't master the way of the Divine Grail or thought carefully about the results and instinctively let Gaia be able to access to this world.

If the latter had a little bit of maliciousness towards her, she would be dead by now, "No, I must quickly cut off Gaia's connection with me."

Just when she thought and was about to do so, she felt a change in her body; she strangely had more life force, and even her physical body had been enhanced.

Morgan, who was near her and saw Morgan acting and murmuring strange things, saw the change in her; he recognized what it was and said: "Gaia's blessing?"

Although he seems to be asking, he is certain that it's Gaia's blessing; this reinforces his theory that Morgan is the origin of the big change in the world.

Although he didn't know how, but it must be because Morgan ended the decline of the Age Of Gods and the planet was happy about it and decided to bless her.

Morgan, who was even closer to Gaia in essence than Merlin, also felt Gaia's goodwill and blessing towards her, making it stop her actions.

She asked herself again, she and Gaia don't have a life and death relationship like Alaya; logically, as long as she didn't do anything that would destroy the planet, Gaia wouldn't care about her changing the established future or anything; the latter even blessed her.

And if there really came a day when she had a conflict with Gaia, she could just cut off the latter's interference with this world, but now, she feels it's better to enjoy this blessing; this would relatively help her in with her physical weakness.

This is, of course, not the solution in the long run, as she would have to eventually enhance her physical ability; she didn't want to be weak and in a situation where she lost Gaia's blessing.

In fact, Morgan already had an idea: with Gaia's blessing, the place she established her kingdom would obviously be blessed no matter where, and nature would always be friendly to her.

Also, as long as she has enough Mana with Gaia's help and blessing, she can undoubtedly summon Heroic Spirit, Beast, and other things who are in an independent space.

Since the Age Of Gods stopped declining, the Gods would eventually return from the Inner Sea; she needed enough force to deal with them. Gods are really too powerful after all, and even the Divine Grail she was relying on is a result of their desperate attempt to survive.

She is already thinking about what kind of person she should summon like a teacher from the Age Of Gods with more magic knowledge than Morgan, a martial arts teacher, she would also need someone who would teach her the role of a king, she would need someone who would help with the technological advancement of her kingdom.

But all of this, she must think about who to summon after calming down and now, she needs to deal with this Half Incubus called Merlin.

Also, don't forget to vote and comment (-_-)

If you have an idea about what role she should summon later and who should they be, don't hesitate, I will even make a poll later, as of now, these are my ideas:

1) A mage teacher who has enough knowledge of magic from Age Of Gods to be the teacher:

2) Someone who knows all kinds of martial arts to be her martial arts teacher:

3) A god slayer who has slain many gods who would help her in her journey so that she wouldn't lose herself later and adopt the god mentality and indifference:

4) A King recognized through history who would help her become an ideal king that all his subordinates are loyal to:

5) Her son in another world, Mordred whom she has a strained relationship with but

6) Someone who would help in her kingdom building and make it more advanced with some science:
