"These vampires have adapted... they're using calculated explosions to counter my ability."

Her golden iridescent different colours eyes narrowed as a memory of Adam's words replayed in her mind.

"The attack on the hospital wasn't random. It was to analyze your powers."

Her lips curled into a wry smile. "So that's what this is. They've developed a countermeasure just for me."

Tayo is very surprised and at the same time she is very happy because her creator was right, i.e. Adam had made the right prediction.
