After cutting off the wild boar's leg, Kiana went to gather some dry wood and cleared a spot to start a fire.
"Ha-ya!"
Kiana muttered, working hard as she spun a small stick between her hands, but despite her efforts, only a little warmth radiated from the tip of the stick. She was soon covered in sweat, with strands of hair sticking to her forehead.

With a glint of light, the weapon materialized in Kiana's hand.
"Here we go, the Flaming Blade."
Kiana quietly activated the weapon's skill, directing it toward the pile of dry wood. With a flash of heat, the wood immediately caught fire, bursting into flames.
"Finally got it lit—can't believe I spent ten crystals just to make a fire."
She shook her head, knowing this was probably the most extravagant way to start a fire in history.
"Well, no point in dwelling on it—time to get to work!"
Kiana picked up the boar leg and headed to a nearby shoreline, washing off the dirt and blood clinging to it. Although it was seawater, she didn't have many options.
"Maybe it'll even give the meat a salty flavor," she murmured to herself, trying to stay optimistic.
Soon, the meat was roasting, and a delicious aroma filled the air. Kiana cut off a small piece, blowing on it to cool it down before taking a bite.
"…Awful."
Her face twisted in disgust. The taste was, well, almost demonic. But she was starving, and she needed the energy. She decided to tough it out.
"Guess I'll hunt for better-tasting prey this afternoon," Kiana resolved.
