Leonar sighed, rubbing his forehead as he felt mental exhaustion creeping back in. In front of him, Eleonora watched him with her bright red eyes, tilting her head slightly as if she couldn't comprehend the dilemma he was facing.
"Listen, Eleonora," Leonar began, trying to keep a calm tone as he gestured toward the bathroom door. "I'm going to take a shower, alright? I just need... a little space. You know, to bathe alone."
Eleonora raised an eyebrow, visibly confused.
"Why?" she asked without hesitation, tilting her head even further.
Leonar opened his mouth to answer but froze.
'Why? It's obvious, isn't it? Because it's normal!' he thought. But seeing Eleonora's expectant gaze, he realized he'd have to explain it.
"Because people usually bathe alone," Leonar clarified, gesturing with his hands as if that would make his words more convincing.
Eleonora stared at him silently, her eyes blinking slowly. Then she shrugged, her expression clearly saying:
"So what?"
Leonar rubbed his temples, feeling the heat rise to his face.
'This is pointless,' he thought with resignation. 'She just doesn't get it.'
"It's... a matter of privacy, you know?" Leonar continued, gesturing vaguely toward his body. "When someone showers, they don't want others to see them... like that. You understand what I mean, right?"
Eleonora raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms and tilting her hips slightly.
"Why does it matter? I've seen you naked before," she said with the same calmness as if she were commenting on the weather.
Wait, when had she seen him naked?
Leonar felt something short-circuit in his brain. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
Finally, he managed to say:
"That was different! You...! You were a sphere! You didn't have a human body then!"
Eleonora tilted her head again, as if evaluating the logic of his argument.
"And what difference does that make?" she replied, taking a step closer to him. "It's still me. I just have this form now."
Leonar was about to counter her argument when something stopped him.
'Wait... why am I even worrying about this so much?' Leonar thought, his mind drifting as he looked at her. 'Technically, she's not human. Her original form was that metallic sphere I found in the casino... but now...'
Leonar's gaze drifted, almost involuntarily, over Eleonora's body. Her pale, smooth skin seemed to glow under the room's light, and her curves were... too perfect.
When his eyes reached her long, shapely legs, he felt his face heat up again—especially when his gaze lingered on 'that' area.
'She definitely looks like a real girl,' Leonar thought, quickly looking away in an attempt to collect himself.
Eleonora, oblivious to his turmoil, continued speaking in her usual direct tone.
"Besides," she added, crossing her arms, "I can't stay far from you. It's part of the bond we made."
Leonar blinked, trying to process her statement.
"The bond?" he repeated incredulously.
"Yes," Eleonora confirmed, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "How else do you think I controlled your body? Plus, I need to stay close to you to maintain this form."
Leonar stared at her, feeling a shiver run down his spine.
"Wait... does that mean...?"
"Exactly," Eleonora replied before he could finish his question. A small smile formed on her lips as she watched him. "I'll be with you all the time. Isn't it obvious?"
Leonar felt his mind spinning.
'All the time? For the rest of my life?' he thought, a cold sweat forming on his forehead.
"Hold on a second!" Leonar exclaimed, raising a hand as if to stop the flood of thoughts invading his mind. "Are you saying we'll never be apart? Not even for simple things like going to the bathroom or...!"
"Why are you so upset?" Eleonora interrupted, her tone filled with genuine curiosity. "It's not like it's a bad thing. Besides, it's your fault. You're the one who accepted the contract."
Leonar ran a hand through his hair, feeling a headache starting to form.
'Great. Now it's my fault,' Leonar thought sarcastically.
Before he could say anything else, Eleonora turned toward the bathroom door and started walking toward it.
Leonar watched her, confused.
"What are you doing now?" he asked as she opened the door without hesitation.
"I'm coming with you, obviously," Eleonora replied without even looking back.
"Wait! You can't just...!" Leonar began to say, but his words died in his throat as Eleonora entered the bathroom and started inspecting the place.
Her bright red eyes shone with curiosity as she approached the sink.
"Is this water?" Eleonora asked, pointing at the drops falling from the faucet.
Leonar was about to answer when Eleonora leaned forward to take a closer look, leaving her back completely exposed.
The curve of her hips and the perfection of her figure left him momentarily paralyzed.
'Why did she have to bend over like that?!' Leonar thought in despair, quickly averting his gaze.
But it was too late.
His face was completely red, and he felt an uncomfortable heat rising through his body.
"Eleonora!" he exclaimed, trying to regain control of the situation.
She turned her head to look at him, still bent over.
"What is it?" Eleonora asked innocently.
Leonar took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment.
'Calm down. It's just a shower. Nothing unusual. Just a normal shower,' he thought, trying to convince himself.
Finally, he spoke.
"Do you... want me to show you how to bathe?" Leonar asked, his voice slightly trembling.
Eleonora nodded, her expression curious as she glanced at the water still dripping from the sink.
"Yes. That would be helpful," Eleonora replied with a small smile.
Leonar let out a long sigh.
'This is going to be a disaster,' he thought as he stepped into the bathroom, trying to keep his composure.
