Chương 126: Chapter 126: Guiding Strike

"Eight Trigrams: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms."

"Boom! Boom!"

"Eight Trigrams: Palm Rotation."

"Boom Boom!"

The forest.

Tall trees lay sprawled in all directions, toppled and broken. The ground was in complete disarray, torn and shredded.

A massive crater loomed there, sending chills down anyone's spine.

"Amazing… so powerful."

Inside her mental world, Hinata could only stare in stunned silence, utterly speechless.

She watched in awe as Kiyoshi controlled her body, performing Gentle Fist techniques she had never mastered.

In a flurry of blows within the Eight Trigrams, he unleashed a staggering one hundred twenty-eight palms.

He even performed Palm Rotation, a secret technique passed down in the Hyuga Clan's main family, with astonishing ease. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was like a dream.

"Zzz….. zzz…."

The next moment—

Electric light crackled around Kiyoshi as he moved, channeling chakra through Hinata's palms.

As she stared in shock, chakra surged visibly, molding into the shape of a lion's head with electric sparks leaping off.

It was both mesmerizing and terrifying.

"Is this…. Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists?" Hinata gasped, recognizing the technique immediately. "But that's. a high-level taijutsu only taught to members of the Hyuga main family."

Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists.

This technique was a secret, high-level taijutsu, passed down only within the Hyuga main family.

It required delicate chakra control and the power of the Byakugan to use effectively. The smallest error could lead to failure, and mastering it was an enormous challenge.

Even among the main family, only a handful had truly mastered it over generations.

But what stunned Hinata even more was that he wasn't even part of the Hyuga family.

Yet, by controlling her body for such a short time, he had already managed to grasp these secret techniques.

It completely shattered her understanding.

"Don't be so shocked." In the mental space, Kiyoshi smiled as he watched her amazement.

"I've heard of the unique Hyuga techniques before. With the Byakugan's aid and my own chakra control, it's possible to mimic these techniques without much trouble."

"This Twin Lion Fists technique suits you, Hinata. Your chakra has a lightning nature. If you could integrate that lightning nature into this move, it would make it even more powerful."

"Enhancing its lethality while simultaneously disrupting the target's chakra path on contact.

Even if it's blocked, there's a high chance it would paralyze the enemy temporarily, leaving them unable to move."

Having observed her chakra nature, Kiyoshi had quickly used his fine chakra control and keen insight to shape the future of Hinata's Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists, giving it form.

Without hesitation, Kiyoshi demonstrated the move using the Twin Lion Fists, repeating several versions of Gentle Fist for Hinata to see.

In the mental space, Hinata attentively observed and absorbed his teachings, feeling her body respond through their mental connection.

"Alright, let's stop here for now." Kiyoshi patted Hinata's head with a smile. "I'll leave enough chakra in you to practice and experiment."

"You practice it on your own and see how much you can manage."

"Mm..." Hinata, though nervous, was eager to try.

With Kiyoshi's help through his Spirit Transformation Jutsu, he had painstakingly demonstrated the technique repeatedly, giving her a deep understanding.

"Swish…. swish…."

As Kiyoshi's spirit left her, returning control to Hinata, she looked curiously at him, a bit dazed. The entire scene felt surreal, like a dream.

Yet, oddly, the memories were vivid and clear.

Patting her head affectionately, Kiyoshi encouraged, "Now, start."

"Okay…" Hinata's cheeks flushed, but she became serious, recalling the motions in her mind.

One movement, then another. Her actions were noticeably smoother now.

One round, two rounds, three rounds.

After five rounds, Hinata had transformed from clumsy and rigid to skillful and graceful.

Her moves became as fluid as a river, smooth and natural.

Kiyoshi nodded in satisfaction. Although her talent didn't quite match her cousin Neji's, she clearly wasn't hopeless. Her timid and insecure personality had held her back.

Fortunately, his earlier guidance seemed to have helped her improve.

"Kiyoshi-nii."

Hinata looked at him with both excitement and a hint of hesitation, worried she hadn't met his standards.

"Very good." Kiyoshi clapped approvingly.

Seeing her earnest expression, he wasn't stingy with his praise. "You're already proficient in the basics of Gentle Fist. Now, it's just a matter of daily practice and applying it in combat."

"Next, let's move on to the Eight Trigrams Palms. Let's see how many consecutive strikes you can manage."

Receiving his approval, Hinata's cheeks flushed, brimming with excitement. She nodded earnestly, activating her Byakugan and taking her stance.

"Eight Trigrams: Sixteen Palms."

"Bam! Bam!."

Her agile form darted forward, striking the trees before her with precise palm strikes.

After sixteen strikes, her movements began to slow, her breath becoming unsteady.

"Sixteen Palms, huh?" Kiyoshi nodded slightly.

Thanks to her improved basic Gentle Fist proficiency, Hinata had doubled her previous limit of eight palms, reaching Neji's earlier level.

But, with his superior talent, Neji would soon be aiming for the Thirty-Two Palms and possibly even the Sixty-Four Palms soon after.

Kiyoshi encouraged her, "Keep going." He had left enough chakra in her to continue. And if that ran out, he was her mobile chakra battery.

With such an advantage, Hinata was far ahead of most others. For a typical ninja, chakra was limited, even some Jonin didn't have much.

Most high-level fights didn't rely on powerful jutsu alone but involved tactics, weapon skills, and endurance.

Hinata, however, was still a student. Training her jutsu was often restricted by her limited chakra, needing long rests for recovery.

Having a steady source of chakra made an incredible difference, allowing her to train as freely as she pleased.

"Yes." Hinata took a deep breath, stabilizing her stance, and continued.

"Gentle Fist Art: Eight Trigrams, Thirty-Two Palms."

"Bam! Bam!"

"One palm, two palms, four palms, eight palms, sixteen palms."

"Seventeen palms, eighteen palms."

"More power." Kiyoshi picked up a twig from the ground, using it to correct her form.

"Here, the angle needs to be sharper."

"And a bit faster."

"Again."

"Yes, Kiyoshi-nii."

"Eight Trigrams: Thirty-Two Palms."

Listening carefully to his instruction, Hinata, slightly embarrassed but determined, continued, "Eight palms, sixteen palms, twenty palms."

"Focus! Don't let your gaze wander."

"Strike with force, keep up the intensity." Kiyoshi instructed.

"Remember, the Gentle Fist style targets the enemy's weak points, injecting chakra to destroy from within, a one-strike kill if done right."

"Keep in mind: speed, precision, and power—each one is essential."

….

Half an hour passed quickly. Watching Hinata, teary-eyed and biting her lip, Kiyoshi saw her flushed hands, slightly red from his stern corrections.

"It's getting late, let's call it a day." Kiyoshi finally eased his tone, patting her head with a warm smile.

"You've done wonderfully. Now it's all about persistence and practice."

"Remember, don't be too rigid, adapt as you go. That's the fastest way to improve."

"Mm..."

Chương 127: Chapter 127: Warm Parting

"Well, that's all for today."

After finishing their training session, Kiyoshi treated Hinata's injuries. Checking the time, he realized he was close to his meetup with Tenten and Ino.

With a gentle goodbye, he turned to leave.

"Are you going already, Kiyoshi-nii?"

Seeing Kiyoshi about to go, Hinata looked a little disappointed. But she quickly recovered and bowed deeply, her voice full of gratitude.

"Thank you so much for your help. I really can't thank you enough."

Hinata still felt like she was dreaming.

In just under two hours, she'd made as much progress as she usually did in months, or even more than she'd ever achieved with endless hard work.

Right before Kiyoshi ended their training, she'd managed to perform the Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms. Previously, she could barely reach the Eight Palms stage.

"No need to thank me," Kiyoshi said with a smile. "Remember, no matter what, always be strong and confident."

"I… I will, Kiyoshi-nii." Hinata's cheeks turned pink, her fingers touching each other shyly as she gazed at him with her pure white eyes.

She hesitated, then asked softly, "Kiyoshi-nii…. Will I be able to see you again?"

She genuinely hoped to see him again. She had heard he was training under Lady Tsunade outside the village and wondered if he was only back for a few days.

"I should be around the village for the next week or two, with plenty of free time," Kiyoshi replied, extending his right hand.

To Hinata's amazement, a large green leaf appeared in his palm, which quickly folded itself into an origami crane.

The green leaf crane seemed alive, flapping its wings as it flew to Hinata, gently landing in her hand.

"If you ever want to find me, just channel a bit of chakra into it, and I'll sense it as long as I'm in the village," he said with a warm smile. "Remember, it's our little secret."

He leaned forward, gently touching his forehead to hers, looking straight into her beautiful white eyes. "Don't tell anyone, okay?"

"Th-thump, th-thump."

The closeness and warmth of the gesture left Hinata frozen, her large, watery eyes wide as she stared at his face just inches away.

Her heart was racing, her cheeks flushing so red it was as if steam were rising from her head.

"Mhm…." She mumbled, her head practically buried in her chest, her voice soft as a whisper.

Seeing this shy reaction, Kiyoshi chuckled and decided not to tease her any further. "Alright then, I'll be off."

"Goodbye, Kiyoshi-nii." Hinata called out, waving as he walked away, a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"Oh, one more thing." Kiyoshi turned back with a playful smile. "Girls look prettier with long hair."

Hinata froze in surprise, watching Kiyoshi disappear into the distance.

She looked at the delicate green leaf crane in her hand, then touched her short hair, determination shining in her eyes.

---

"Kiyoshi!"

"Kiyoshi-nii, you're late again!"

At a training ground near the Hokage Rock, Kiyoshi finally arrived, spotting Tenten and Ino waiting for him and waving excitedly. Ino ran up to him, pouting in mild annoyance.

"Alright, alright, I got held up a bit." Kiyoshi chuckled, pleading for mercy.

The three of them bantered playfully before Kiyoshi got down to business, checking their progress from the past two years of training.

A humanoid puppet, barely visible chakra strings attached, whirred into motion under Tenten's control.

Its arms transformed into sharp blades, spinning rapidly as it chased Kiyoshi's wood clone in a relentless assault.

"Whoosh... Whoosh..."

The wood clone only displayed the level of a mid-level Chunin, dodging and occasionally retaliating by throwing shuriken in Tenten's direction.

Calm and composed, she either dodged skillfully or used her puppet as a shield.

At one point, the puppet opened its mouth, launching a barrage of Senbon needles—hundreds of them, flashing in the light and densely packed, a sight enough to make anyone's scalp tingle.

"Bang! Bang!"

After testing her skills, Kiyoshi assessed her current level, then signaled her to stop, knowing how much she disliked retrieving all her lost weapons.

The progress Tenten and Ino had made was impressive.

Tenten's combat level with her puppet was easily on par with an elite Genin. And if she loaded it with explosive tags or other deadly tools, she could even take down an unwary Chunin.

Ino wasn't far behind either. She'd mastered the Yamanaka clan's secret techniques well.

Kiyoshi even experienced her Mind Transfer Jutsu firsthand, noting that while it didn't affect him, it would be a formidable technique against opponents of similar or slightly higher strength.

With proper teamwork, even experienced ninjas might fall victim to it. No wonder the Ino-Shika-Cho formation was renowned in the shinobi world.

Moreover, Ino had also become proficient in basic medical ninjutsu, which Kiyoshi had previously taught her.

Kiyoshi then began to offer targeted guidance to both of them, and time flew by quickly.

Before they knew it, evening had arrived, and he said his goodbyes to the two reluctant girls, escorting them back home.
