Extra Chapter~
"Shizune, you take Kiyoshi out for a little stroll."
They'd just checked into the inn and placed their luggage in the room.
Tsunade, however, couldn't resist her gambling urges and promptly left her responsibilities behind.
"Wait, Lady Tsunade..."
Shizune tried to stop her, but it was too late. Tsunade had already snatched some money from Kiyoshi and dashed off excitedly.
Tsunade had frequented the casinos in the capital of the Land of Fire countless times over the years, so she knew her way around easily.
"Shizune-senpai, you should probably follow her." Kiyoshi suggested with a sigh. "Tsunade-nee hemophobia is too troublesome."
Kiyoshi wasn't the only one who felt uneasy. Although Tsunade was incredibly powerful as one of the Sannin, her weakness—hemophobia—was worrisome.
Even though Kiyoshi knew Tsunade's monstrous strength could handle most unexpected situations, the thought of her condition left him slightly worried.
"But Kiyoshi, what about you?"
Holding her pet pig Tonton, Shizune hesitated. Kiyoshi, though mature and composed, was still only eight years old.
"My strength is no mystery to you, right?" Kiyoshi chuckled. "Even you aren't my match, Shizune-senpai."
"Besides, my natural sensory abilities aren't to be underestimated. I can find you two at any time."
"Alright, but stay safe, Kiyoshi."
With that assurance, Shizune felt relieved and added, "If anything happens, come find us immediately."
"Will do, don't worry."
With a smile, Kiyoshi reassured her. After all, they were planning to stay in the capital of the Land of Fire for several days.
Although he could explore, he didn't feel particularly eager to wander around.
He'd already experienced the bustling world of the twenty-first century; while the atmosphere here was different, it wasn't new.
What he wanted most was to study the Wood Style scroll left by the First Hokage.
Some of the higher-level Wood Style jutsu were unique, and though he could mimic them using his Wood-Wood Fruit powers, he doubted he could replicate their true power.
---
After Shizune left, Kiyoshi confirmed that no one was watching him and unfurled the large scroll before him.
Activating his Sharingan, he used his photographic memory to absorb the contents of the scroll swiftly, memorizing every recorded technique one by one.
"Wood Style: Wood Clone Jutsu, Wood Style: Domed Wall Jutsu..."
One after another, Kiyoshi committed each jutsu exclusive to the rare Wood Release to memory. Time slipped by, and two hours passed without him noticing.
"Alright, time to try it out." Kiyoshi stretched, loosening up his muscles.
His Sharingan shifted, the three tomoe evolving into a unique, intricate pattern.
"Onamuchi! Netherworld Dimension."
In an instant, Kiyoshi seemingly disappeared from sight at a speed visible to the naked eye.
---
The Netherworld, rumored to be the dwelling of gods, was a shadowy, eternally desolate parallel dimension.
From here, Kiyoshi could view the outside world with perfect clarity. He saw the bustling cityscape, each building, tree, and person appearing in precise detail.
Kiyoshi's figure had vanished into this world, yet he was still within the inn, as if he'd shifted dimensions.
Simply being within the Netherworld granted him a field of vision comparable to that of the Byakugan. Although he couldn't see a full 360 degrees, his range was arguably even broader.
With a chuckle, he looked through the semi-transparent surroundings of the inn, even seeing the streets and buildings around it.
"Nothing could be a better training ground for jutsu than here..."
Onamuchi was an ability that he had awakened in both eyes.
His left eye enabled him to open the Netherworld, immersing himself within it. He could partially or fully turn himself intangible and even move through the Netherworld itself.
His right eye, on the other hand, could affect the outside world from within this parallel space, launching attacks invisible to the naked eye.
Unless one possessed the Byakugan or Sharingan, they couldn't see him. Even a skilled sensory-type ninja could only sense his chakra faintly.
It was, in essence, a near-unbeatable ability.
While within the Netherworld, Kiyoshi gained a level of perception akin to the Byakugan, allowing him to see through nearly any obstruction.
Of course, there were limits.
Through multiple trials, he confirmed that the Netherworld's effective range centered around him, extending approximately two hundred meters in all directions.
And as he moved, the area of effect shifted with him.
"If someone wanted to spy, this would be the perfect skill for it."
He glanced at a room some meters away, where a young couple was engaging in less-than-innocent activities.
Kiyoshi's mouth twitched at the sight, and he quickly looked away.
"Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!"
Kiyoshi focused ahead, his gaze resolute. Without performing any hand seals, he clenched his right hand with a quiet murmur.
In an instant, the Netherworld's ground cracked open, releasing a flood of saplings that grew rapidly before his eyes.
In moments, they transformed into towering trees.
Boom!
The trees seemed almost sentient, surging forward as if they intended to destroy and consume everything in their path.
Yet, as they spread, neither the inn nor the surrounding buildings, nor even the passersby outside, were affected in the slightest.
They all continued on, oblivious to the chaos of the growing forest within the Netherworld, undisturbed.

"Wood Style: Domed Wall Jutsu!"
"Wood Style: Tree Bind Eternal Burial!"
"Wood Style: Wood Dragon Jutsu!"
"Wood Style: Multi Wood Clone Jutsu!"
Boom... Boom...
...
Inside the shadowy realm.
One Wood Release jutsu after another.
Kiyoshi mastered each of them with ease, unleashing them instantly.
The cost? Nearly all of his chakra had been depleted.
After all, he was only a kid; his body was far from mature.
Yet his chakra reserves, even now, were already extraordinary by most ninja standards.
Although he could only stay in this realm for ten minutes before needing to return to reality, Kiyoshi's powerful eye abilities let him manage the small chakra expense required to return without much trouble, as long as he didn't activate the full might of "Onamuchi" on his targets.
"Wood Release Jutsu... no issues so far. What's lacking is chakra."
He gazed at the dense forest that filled the shadowy realm.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Kiyoshi let out a deep breath.
"Alright, time to clear this place up a bit... Wood Style: Wood Clone."
Twenty wood clones emerged from Kiyoshi's body, one after another.
The shadow realm shifted and morphed with him, its host, and each time he entered, this parallel dimension reset completely, unaffected by the previous state.
Still, he intended to use his last bit of chakra to give the place a thorough clean-up.
"Groups of five, each covering one direction, use Five Style Massive Combo Jutsu."
With Kiyoshi's command, the twenty wood clones split into four groups, each facing north, south, east, and west.
Each clone formed different hand seals with remarkable speed.
During his time in Konoha, he hadn't been idle.
Through the jutsu he'd taken from the Uchiha clan, and using the shadow realm as his training ground, he'd mastered a wide range of techniques.
Wind, Lightning, Water, Fire, Earth—the Five Basic Nature Transformations were now well within his grasp, including several high-level techniques.
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet!"
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!"
"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!"
...
The wood clones built up their chakra.
They stood facing the thickly packed forest.
In unison, they unleashed a barrage.
Whoosh... Whoosh...
Earth Dragon, Water Dragon, Fire Dragon, Wind Dragon, Lightning Dragon.
Five elemental techniques interwove into a single, formidable jutsu.
It transformed into a massive, brilliant storm, triggering an explosion of unprecedented magnitude.
The blast swept outward in all directions!
Boom!
The tremendous shockwave.
It tore through the shadow realm.
Countless trees shattered and splintered, filling the air with a storm of wooden shrapnel.
Dust clouds swirled, leaving the place in utter disarray.
"Tch, the power's just so-so," Kiyoshi muttered, exhausted, shrugging his shoulders.
He then reabsorbed the chakra from his wood clones.
His figure vanished from the shadow realm.
If the Third Hokage had seen this, he'd have wanted to throttle this smug brat on the spot.
The Third, who possessed all five chakra natures, prided himself on being able to use Shadow Clones to perform the Five Style Massive Combo Jutsu together.
On the battlefield, he was feared by countless shinobi, reputed as a unique force in the ninja world.
But in Kiyoshi's eyes, this was just "so-so."
The truly maddening part?
Kiyoshi had mastered the Five Style Massive Combo Jutsu.
And he'd split himself into twenty wood clones, organized into four groups, just to demonstrate it.
At his age, with that amount of chakra and that precise chakra control, it was mind-blowing.
"Ha... my chakra reserves are still way too low. I'm not even close to the First Hokage, or even the Second."
Kiyoshi, drenched in sweat, sat down, catching his breath.
That last training round had used up over ninety percent of his chakra.
"Better go recharge a bit."
With that, he sank into the ground at a speed visible to the naked eye, vanishing from the inn.
Though he could recharge through photosynthesis.
It was simply too slow for his liking.
There were faster methods.
Moments later.
Using the jutsu he learned from White Zetsu, Kiyoshi merged with the earth, connecting with the vast network of plants, roots, underground streams, and other organic material in the ground.
Before long, he reached a dense forest a few miles from the capital.
Roar—
A massive bear, radiating a fierce aura.
But before it could attack, sharp vines shot forward, piercing it mercilessly.
Squelch... Squelch...
The bear let out a pitiful wail.
The vines seemed alive, pulsing as if they were devouring.
The bear's massive form quickly shriveled, its muscles thinning, bones protruding.
The sight was unsettling.
"Hmph... still need a bit more."
The green vine retracted.
It transformed back into Kiyoshi's unassuming arm.
He sliced off a few select bear paws, sealing them in a storage scroll.
After all, such ingredients were rare culinary delicacies.
With his keen sensory abilities, he locked onto other nearby beasts.
Roar—
A few minutes later.
A tiger lay on the ground, its proud stance reduced to a weak, emaciated form as life left its body.
The once-magnificent tiger hide peeled away effortlessly under Kiyoshi's hand.
"Oh, right. The tiger's tail—gotta save that for later; can't let that go to waste."
As he turned to leave, he remembered this detail.
He went back, rummaging through the tiger's carcass with renewed vigor.
