Oh my god....that was the only thing ringing in my head. This class was boring as fuck. That was the only way I could describe it without sounding like a huge asshole.
I laid my head on the table and started sleeping.
"Slacker get up." I felt someone moving me slightly.
"Kai get up, Crowler is calling for you." Syrus and Jaden said while moving me.
"Uh what??"
"Get up Kai."
"Yeah" *yawn* "What happened?"
"You Slifer slacker, if you aren't interested in my class, you can leave you know. Not that this class will help a slacker like you." Crowler said.
I took my bag and got up from my seat.
"Wait wher-"
"You are right teach, i am not interested in your class so i'm leaving the class." I said before leaving the class and heading towards the school shop.
"Hello there. Are you a new student?" a lady asked me.
"Yes."
"So shouldn't you be in class at this time?"
"Yeah I got..uh..kicked out from class to make it simple."
"Oh...my name is Dorotie, i am the owner of the shop."
"Well Dorotie, can I stay here for a while until the break."
"Sure however don't mess with anything until the shop opens."
Another woman approached me however she was a lot younger and also prettier.
"Hey." I said to her
"Hi, I am Sadie."
"Kai."
"New student and already getting kicked out huh?"
I laughed slightly at her saying her that.
"Yeah."
"What's that?" I said while pointing at a giant basket just at the start of the shop.
"Oh that?? its sandwiches." Sadie responded.
"Can I buy one?"
"Sure. Also all of them are sealed and don't ask for refund if you get something you don't like."
"I don't understand?"
"There are different types of sandwiches so if you get one which you don't like, don't ask for a refund. Shop policy."
"I see....What's the best sandwich we can get?"
"The golden eggwich." Dorotie responded from behind.
"Is it truly good or are you messing with me?"
"It's the best sandwich you can have."
"You guys ever had a taste of it??"
"No actually. I don't think even Miss Dorotie had a taste of it."
"Oh well." I went to the giant basket and started searching for the eggwich in it.
I took one of sandwiches and gave it to Sadie.
"You and Dorotie can share this one since you guys never had a golden eggwich before. I will take the chicken sandwich."
"How are you even confident it is a golden eggwich and the other one is a chicken one?" Sadie asked.
"Oh what are you kids doing?" Dorotie came and asked us.
"Oh nothing, pretty boy, here is saying that we should share this sandwich since it is a golden eggwich."
"Why don't you guys open it, if it isn't a golden eggwich I'll pay 3 time the price?"
"Remember there is no refund for this." Sadie said.
Sadie seemingly confident opened the sandwich pack only to see that it was a golden eggwich.
"How?" Both Dorotie and Sadie said with a confused tone in unison.
"How can I explain this... Let's just say I am cursed with a good hand." I said to them.
"Anyways you guys eat your sandwich, imma go in that room to rest a bit and eat my sandwich." I said to them.
I sat on a bench for quite some time after eating my sandwich before ultimately going to the shop's toilet.
I took out a cigarette and just started smoking. I took my deck out and just stared at it for a few minutes.
"...."
I tore it in half and flushed it down the toilet before leaving the washroom. However once I got out, it was there. The deck was there on the bench near my bag. I picked it up to verify if it was my deck and as expected it was my deck.
"...44, 45, 46...47!!"
Well that's strange the deck had 46 cards before why it is at 47 now?

"Hey Kai it's nearly break time." Sadie came and told me.
"Wait really??"
"Yeah look at the time."
I took a glance at the clock.
"Wait you are actually right!!"
"Were you daydreaming or something??"
"Uh...no...i just...well nevermind."
"Alright then." Sadie said before leaving the room.
It didn't take long before the shop was filled with students.
"I guess this shop really does make a profit at the end of the day."
"KAI!!!" I heard Jaden screaming.
"What happen Jaden??"
"Damn man, what kind of stunt you choose to pull on the first day. Trust me if Crowler sees you, he will probably gonna try to kill you. You should have seen his face when you left the class." Jaden said while laughing.
"uh yeah...anyways where is Syrus?"
"huh...wait where is Syrus?? He was with me a couple of minutes ago." Jaden said while turning around trying to look around for Syrus.
"You look for him I'll-"
"Oh I found, he is with Bastion."
"Who??"
"Bastion..."
"...."
"Bastion Misawa, he is from Ra yellow. He is a friends of our." Jaden answered back.
"Let me introduce you to him."
"Sure I guess."
"Sy." Jaden shouted as we approached the duo.
"Oh hey Ja."
"Hey Bastion."
"Hello Jaden." Bastion said.
"What you guys doing?"
"Oh me and Bastion were talking about uh..." Syrus said while looking at me seemingly at bit hesitant to say.
"We were talking about today's class." Bastion said picking up on Syrus blunder.
"Anyways Kai, this is Bastion a friend we met during the entrance exam and Bastion this is-"
"Kai Yuri, no need for introduction, you are quite the celebrity after your little stunt in today's class you know."
"Well i will take it as a positive thing."
"No it's not." I heard a familiar feminine voice coming from behind.
"Oh Alexis?"
"Oh hey Alexis." Jaden said.
"Hey." Alexis answered back.
"What are you doing here Alexis?" I asked her.
"I came to see you after what you just did."
"..."
"You do realize how piss Dr Crowler is right now?"
"Yeah."
"Listen Kai, you are probably a good duelist, but let's be honest, there is a reason you were placed in slifer red. I checked your test result yesterday and they are-"
"Wait test result??" I asked in a confused tone.
"Yeah your test result are below most Slifer Red. And you doing what you just did will just make Crowler pick on you even more than what he normally does to the Slifers. You will suffer bullying and-"
"Listen Alexis I am happy you are worried about me or whatever...but trust me there is no need for me to worry about any of this. There isn't a single person on this planet who can defeat me." I said to her causing all of them to look at me with confusion and a little bit of laughter.
"What??"
"Listen Kai, you are probably a good duelist, but saying no one can beat you is...you know a little bit crazy." Syrus said.
"I'm not exaggerating by the way."
"Haha..." I heard Bastion laugh at me.
"I'm sorry. But please there is many duelists in the world who can beat any of us with ease."
"Maybe for you guys but don't put me in the low category as you guys."
I saw Alexis stare at me with a little bit of anger.
"How about this let's have duel. You four against me."
"Excuse me." Bastion said.
"You, Alexis, Jaden and little guy vs me."
"Fine by me. I'm always up for a duel." Jaden said with a smile.
"Fine by me also." Alexis said.
"Well if you two are fine with it, then so am I." Bastion responded.
"Uh you know what...you guys can duel without me." Syrus said stressed out.
"Come on Sy. It just a friendly duel nothing serious."
"I don't think I should Ja."
"You have to worry, it will be a quick duel." I said to him.
"He is right Syrus. It will be a quick duel." Alexis told him
"Fine then but I will probably be a liability to you guys." Syrus said.
"Since the squad is formed let's duel then!!"
