Upon entering the theater, Luo Qing scanned the seats and immediately spotted Makoto and the other women already seated in the front row. They waved at him enthusiastically, a spot saved just for him in the very center.

To his left and right sat three women each, with Makoto and Theresa flanking him. It was clear that Makoto had taken a particular liking to Theresa, her "first little sister" to pledge allegiance.

Under the envious gazes of the men around him, Luo Qing took his seat, mere meters from the stage.

"Why are we sitting in the front row?" Luo Qing asked.

"To let you have the best view of the little dancer's performance, of course," Makoto replied with a teasing smile.

She then turned to Kamisato Ayaka, sitting to her right. "I hear Ayaka likes to dance too. Is that true?"

"Ah..." Ayaka hesitated, her voice barely audible. "Sister Makoto, I'm not very good at it..."

"No worries, no worries. Luo Qing will definitely enjoy it. He's always loved watching young ladies dance, isn't that right, Luo Qing?"

"..."

Makoto's playful remark caused the other women to glance over. Though they remained silent, her words clearly stuck in their minds.

Luo Qing likes girls who can dance.

Better remember that.

Before long, Makoto's small talk with the group eased the atmosphere. Soon, the lights dimmed, signaling the start of the Sabzeruz Festival's headline event.

Zubair, the theater owner, took the stage first. After delivering a lengthy ode to the little Grass God, the performances began.

Jugglers, singers, magicians, and audience interaction acts followed in succession.

Luo Qing paid no mind to any of them. He was only interested in Nilou's dance.

Finally, the finale arrived.

"Now, let's welcome Miss Nilou, presenting her breathtaking dance in honor of the Sabzeruz Festival!"

As the announcer's voice echoed backstage, the lights dimmed again.

In the darkness, a Vision slowly began to glow—a soothing azure radiance.

The music swelled, the lights came up, and a red-haired girl stood at the center of the stage. Nilou's graceful movements began, her flowing sleeves trailing as water-element lotuses bloomed around her.

Each lotus drifted toward the audience, transforming into birds and flowers that adorned the entire bazaar.

"So this... is the kind of dance Luo Qing likes..."

Ayaka watched, her small mouth slightly agape, completely mesmerized by Nilou's performance.

Is this the right way to use a Vision for dancing?

In comparison, her own attempts at dancing seemed... utterly inadequate.

Ayaka made up her mind then and there. After the performance, I must find Nilou and ask her to teach me.

The music reached its crescendo, and the entire audience was spellbound by Nilou's dance.

Suddenly, a voice, sharp and full of hostility, shattered the moment.

"Cease this performance immediately! The Akademiya has not received any registration for this event!"

The music stopped abruptly. Nilou's dance was cut short, her waterborne lotuses and birds fading into nothingness.

All eyes turned toward the commotion, where a group of Akademiya guards, led by Azar and several scholars, had stormed into the theater and climbed onto the stage.

"Today's Sabzeruz Festival event has not been officially registered with the Akademiya and is therefore an illegal gathering. You have one minute to stop all activities, or you will face the necessary consequences," Setaria announced coldly, her tone devoid of emotion.

"You again!"

Nilou clenched her fists tightly, glaring at the scholars with fiery defiance.

This wasn't the first time they'd interrupted one of her performances.

"It's the Sabzeruz Festival! What's illegal about hosting a celebration?!" Nilou snapped, turning her frustration toward Azar. "This event is your responsibility, yet you do nothing to prepare for it—and now you accuse us of breaking the rules?!"

"Hmph. Pointless entertainment such as this should be banned outright. It's merely the ignorant and uneducated indulging in frivolity," Azar replied, arms crossed, his smug disdain palpable.

His gaze swept the audience—until it landed on Luo Qing in the front row.

Their eyes met.

For reasons he couldn't explain, a chill ran down Azar's spine.

"You dare to call the Sabzeruz Festival meaningless? Have you forgotten who our god is?!"

Nilou's voice trembled with anger, her fists clenched so tightly her knuckles turned white. If she weren't worried about causing trouble for the theater, she'd have slapped Azar already.

"Hmph. With your level of intellect, I don't think you're qualified to argue with me," Azar sneered, turning to leave.

His mission tonight was merely to locate a suitable Dream Core, and now that he'd found one, there was no need to linger.

"These people, always ruining someone else's performance!"

Makoto crossed her arms, her expression dark. Ganyu and Shenhe also looked displeased, though Ei remained impassive.

"I've had enough of these Akademiya snobs!" Makoto muttered.

Between the previous interruptions of performances and the scholars' arrogant attitudes during her walks through Sumeru, her patience had worn thin.

"Luo Qing, take him down!"

"..."

"How exactly should I 'take him down'?"

"Just get rid of him. That little mustache of his annoys me!"

"Alright."

Luo Qing nodded slightly, his mind entering the Akasha Network. Locating Azar's terminal, he sent a single thought.

"Listen to me, do you play basketball?"

"Hmm?!"

[Frustration Points from Azar: +10]

Azar's face went pale. The voice—it was him. The one who had dragged him into that nightmare where he was toyed with by beastwomen.

"Can you sing, dance, and rap?"

"Who are you..."

"Then let's see you perform on stage. Sing, dance, and rap."

With those words, Azar's mind filled with unfamiliar memories: a man in suspenders and a bowl cut, bouncing a ball while singing an annoyingly catchy tune.

"What is this..."

Azar's body began to move against his will, as if some unseen force had taken control.

To everyone's shock, the haughty Grand Sage removed his coat, slung it over his shoulders, and tucked part of it into his waistband like suspenders.

As the audience stared in confusion, Azar ignored Nilou, walking to the center of the stage.

His face twisted in anguish as he opened his mouth.

"Greetings, national producers...

I'm Azar, a trainee with two and a half years of practice..."

Chương 249: This Trainee Fatui Harbinger is Too Unreliable [249] [50 PS]

Reader, thanks to your unwavering support, we've prepared these bonus chapters for you. I hope they bring you joy!

---

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Azar suddenly launched into a bizarre and highly exaggerated dance.

Not only did he dance, but he also added his own vocal accompaniment, much to the bewilderment of Nilou, who stood frozen onstage.

Last time the Akademiya interrupted her performance, they had been rude enough to relieve themselves on the stage. She had to scrub it repeatedly to get rid of the stench.

And now? This time, they'd come to steal her spotlight!

If you wanted center stage so badly, you could've just asked! Why resort to this?

As Azar finished his inexplicable routine, the audience sat in stunned silence, their minds reeling from what they'd just witnessed.

The performance had seared itself into their memories.

This... this will never be forgotten...

"Phew..."

Azar stood motionless, his eyes staring blankly at the floor. He couldn't believe what he had just done.

"Grand... Grand Sage, sir, you..."

Setaria's voice was hesitant, filled with equal parts confusion and concern. What on Teyvat had come over Azar? Wasn't their mission tonight to locate a Dream Core?

Why, then, had he decided to perform such an awkward dance?

"Leave!"

Azar barked through gritted teeth, his face ashen. Without waiting for a response, he turned on his heel and stormed offstage.

Whoever had invaded his mind, he would uncover their identity. If necessary, once the god-creation project was complete, he'd ensure that they paid dearly for this humiliation.

After Azar's abrupt departure, Makoto turned to Luo Qing with wide, disbelieving eyes.

"Did you do that?"

"Yeah. What's up?" Luo Qing replied nonchalantly.

"I asked you to get rid of him, not make him perform... that onstage!"

"Well, is he gone or not?"

"..."

[Frustration Points from Makoto: +1]

"You owe me compensation for my eyes!" Makoto pouted, clenching her fists and playfully hitting Luo Qing's arm.

She had wanted Azar dealt with, not for her retinas to be scarred by his unsightly moves. That minute-long display would take weeks to recover from!

Meanwhile, Ganyu and the others watched Makoto and Luo Qing's playful interaction with a hint of envy.

They wanted to join in too—perhaps playfully hit him, then throw themselves into his arms, snuggling against his chest.

Though Azar had left, Setaria's declaration that the performance was unauthorized remained in effect. Unlike Luo Qing, Zubair Theater couldn't afford to offend the Akademiya. They reluctantly apologized to the audience and ended the performance prematurely.

Disappointed, Makoto suggested heading back home to play some games to improve their bond.

As the group prepared to leave, Kamisato Ayaka raised her hand, announcing she had something to take care of and would return later.

Makoto gave her a knowing look but said nothing, simply reminding her not to stay out too late before leading the others home.

Once Luo Qing and the others had left the bazaar, Ayaka turned back toward Zubair Theater. With a determined look, she stepped inside.

---

Backstage

Nilou sat alone, her elbows resting on the table, her chin propped in her hands as she stared blankly at her reflection in the mirror.

Everyone called her the most popular girl in the Grand Bazaar, but what was the point? She couldn't even finish the performance she had prepared so carefully.

As she brooded, a knock at the door startled her.

She turned to see a girl with sky-blue hair tied in a high ponytail standing shyly at the door.

"Miss Nilou, I'm sorry to disturb you," the girl said politely, bowing slightly. "My name is Kamisato Ayaka."

"Kamisato... Ayaka?" Nilou repeated the name softly, recognizing it as Inazuman. Why was someone from Inazuma looking for her?

"Hello, Miss Kamisato. Is there something I can help you with?" Nilou asked.

"Well..."

Ayaka blushed slightly, her voice dropping as she hesitated.

"I really admired your dance earlier. I... I also love dancing, but... I'm not very good at it. Could you teach me?"

"Huh?"

Nilou blinked in surprise. She vaguely remembered seeing Ayaka in the front row earlier, sitting in a striking group of stunning women gathered around a single man.

"I-I can compensate you properly! I wouldn't dream of asking you to teach me for free," Ayaka said quickly, lowering her head respectfully.

If Nilou agreed to teach her, that would make Nilou her mentor. As a member of the Kamisato family, Ayaka wouldn't neglect proper etiquette.

"It's not about compensation," Nilou said with a soft laugh. "I'd be happy to teach you. It's always wonderful to meet someone else who loves dance. But..."

Nilou hesitated, her expression growing curious.

"Could I ask why you want to learn?"

"Um..."

Ayaka's mind suddenly conjured an image: her performing an elegant dance for Luo Qing, only for him to pull her into his arms, overcome with emotion.

And then...

Her thoughts veered into dangerous territory.

"T-that's..."

---

Later That Night – Luo Qing's House

At Makoto's suggestion, everyone gathered in the living room to play a two-on-one card game with Luo Qing.

Of course, no ordinary game would do.

To make it interesting, they added stakes: whoever lost had to remove an article of clothing.

Makoto and Ei teamed up first, facing off against Luo Qing in a heated battle.

But luck wasn't on their side—Luo Qing crushed them in the first round with an instant win.

The sisters begrudgingly removed their robes, left in only their undergarments, before preparing for round two.

This time, the sisters triumphed, and Luo Qing had to take off his pants.

Ganyu and Shenhe watched in stunned silence as the stakes escalated.

They're going this far?!

Hours passed. The women took turns challenging Luo Qing, but no one could escape his expert play. By the end, every participant was left in nothing but their underclothes. Even their jewelry had been staked and lost.

Shenhe, at least, still had her signature red rope tied around her body.

In fact, wearing only underwear with the red rope... somehow made her look even more alluring.

Realizing things were spiraling out of control, Makoto called a halt to the game before it escalated further. She ushered everyone upstairs to bed, leaving Luo Qing alone in the living room.

Unbothered, Luo Qing cleaned up, turned off the lights, and lay down on the sofa, pulling a blanket over himself.

As he was about to drift off, faint footsteps came from the stairs.

He thought little of it, assuming one of the women was heading to the bathroom.

But the steps grew closer.

Suddenly, someone lifted his blanket and slipped under it.

"Huh?!"

Luo Qing opened the blanket slightly to find Theresa curled up on his chest, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck.

"Theresa, what are you doing?"

"Master..."

Theresa's flushed face and love-struck eyes gazed up at him pleadingly. Her voice trembled with barely restrained longing.

"I need you... I promise I'll keep quiet so they won't find out..."

"Is that okay?"

"..."
