The Sabzeruz Festival had finally arrived. Aside from Kamisato Ayaka, Ganyu and Shenhe, along with Ei, had traveled long distances to Sumeru just to see Luo Qing. Naturally, they couldn't leave so soon.
Moreover, with so many rivals around, they were determined to seize every opportunity to get closer to him. Each one feared that the moment they left, someone else might steal him away—even if the person standing by his side was Makoto herself.
Once a woman's competitive spirit is ignited, it's not something that settles quickly.
Thus, neither Ganyu nor Shenhe, nor even Ei, showed any inclination to leave Sumeru. They all decided to stay a while longer to strengthen their bond with Luo Qing.
However, this choice came with a price—the rooms in Luo Qing's home were entirely insufficient.
The two-story house only had four bedrooms, but there were six women to accommodate. Even though Rosalin graciously offered to stay elsewhere with Natalia to avoid inconveniencing her master, it still wasn't enough.
In the end, Kamisato Ayaka volunteered to ease the situation. To avoid troubling Luo Qing, she decided to use a teleportation toilet every night to return to her room in Inazuma for rest.
With that arrangement, Ganyu and Shenhe shared a room, just barely meeting the space requirements.
As for Luo Qing...
Initially, he thought he might at least have the luxury of alternating between Theresa's room and Makoto's room at night. However, Makoto was quick to shut down those hopes, saying she needed to consider the feelings of the other women.
"You're not allowed to 'get cozy' with me until you've surpassed all the others. For now, you can sleep in the living room," Makoto had declared.
"And when you've finally achieved that... you'll have the freedom to pick whichever room you want, play however you like."
Her casual yet firm tone left him speechless.

On the Day of the Sabzeruz Festival
Given their resolve to strengthen their bond with Luo Qing, it was only natural for the women to include him in Sumeru's traditional festival celebrations.
For days, they had eagerly looked forward to spending this occasion with him.
So early that morning, when Luo Qing had just groggily stirred awake on the sofa, he found six pairs of eyes already fixed on him.
Each woman was fully dressed, standing around him with varying degrees of anticipation on their faces.
Except for Makoto, the others looked genuinely eager—Kamisato Ayaka and Theresa being the most obvious, while Shenhe and Ei tried to suppress their excitement.
"..."
"Um, it's barely morning," Luo Qing muttered, shrinking into the sofa and awkwardly covering himself with a hand.
"Today's going to be a tough day for you."
Makoto leaned down, her deep neckline drawing his gaze as her finger gently poked his cheek.
"We talked it over last night. Today, you're spending time with each of us individually. Then we'll regroup in the evening for some joint activities."
"..."
"So... I'm being split into six parts?" Luo Qing quipped dryly.
"Smart boy," Makoto replied with a light chuckle, nodding. "Now, up you get."
"..."
Luo Qing stayed silent. "Can you all give me a moment alone?"
"What's this? Feeling shy all of a sudden?" Makoto scoffed. And here I thought he was bolder than this in bed.
"..."
Morning energy being what it was, Luo Qing found himself... inconveniently "ready for action."
"Hmph. Fine. We'll head out first. Breakfast is on the table—finish up quickly and join us," Makoto instructed before leading the group out of the room.
Ever since that candid conversation they had during Makoto's late-night chat session, the other women seemed to defer to her authority. Even their gazes toward Luo Qing had changed subtly.
It was almost as if... they were about to devour him?
Shaking off the thought, Luo Qing decided not to dwell on it. After a quick wash and breakfast, he caught up with the others.
The group had already worked out a schedule the night before, assigning each woman one hour to spend with Luo Qing, starting with Kamisato Ayaka. The order was: Kamisato Ayaka, Ganyu, Shenhe, Ei, Makoto.
As for Theresa? She'd suggested skipping her one-on-one time and trading it for a guarantee that Luo Qing would spend the night in her room.
That plan was vetoed immediately by Makoto, who revoked her solo date privilege altogether.

The Day's Activities
The day turned out to be a whirlwind for Luo Qing.
With Kamisato Ayaka:
They played a ring-toss game at a festival stall, shared a single ice cream, and browsed a bazaar's clothing shops. In a changing room, they snuck in a brief kiss, only for Luo Qing's attempt at "further bonding" to be thwarted when other customers almost caught them.
With Ganyu:
The two strolled through the streets of Sumeru City. When Luo Qing held her hand, Ganyu turned as red as a kettle about to whistle, lowering her head in shy embarrassment. Despite his best efforts to kiss her, she remained too flustered to give him an opening. Eventually, he managed a kiss, leaving her even redder.
With Shenhe:
They spent an hour sparring beneath the sacred tree. For reasons unknown, Shenhe went extra hard on him, frequently aiming her spear at... rather vulnerable areas. In retaliation, Luo Qing pulled her into a hug and stole a kiss, nearly untying the red ribbon she wore. She slapped him and stormed off, leaving him grinning.
With Ei:
First, they went to a dessert shop for some treats. Then, they browsed the Sumeru branch of Yae Publishing House—twice. Luo Qing grew exasperated after Ei insisted on visiting both places a second time. Finally, he cornered her in the publishing house, initiating an intimate "exchange of ideas" in a quiet corner. The commotion drew Raiden Shogun's attention from her meditation, and she briefly emerged to "discipline" Luo Qing.
With Makoto:
As a couple who had long grown accustomed to each other, there were no unnecessary frills. They went straight to a hotel for an hour. Suffice it to say, the time was well spent, and Luo Qing finally found some relief from his pent-up frustration.
With Theresa:
Having lost her solo date privilege, Theresa sulked alone, scribbling circles in the dirt. Luo Qing didn't see her for most of the day.
Evening – Reunion at the Zubair Theater
By the evening, everyone regrouped as planned to watch the grand performance celebrating the Sabzeruz Festival. It was Makoto's idea—a way for the "sisters" to bond further.
As they approached the theater, another familiar figure came into view: a certain blonde-haired traveler with her floating companion, Paimon, chatting with Dunyarzad about the festival's history.
When Lumine caught sight of Luo Qing surrounded by six stunning women, her mind blanked.
There were Ganyu and Shenhe, whose arrival in Sumeru had nearly caused a love triangle disaster. Then there were Kamisato Ayaka and Ei, both from Inazuma.
Yet instead of the chaos she expected, they all seemed to get along.
Ei, have you abandoned Inazuma? Ayaka, what about the Kamisato clan?
What was happening?!

Ganyu and the others also noticed Lumine and Paimon.
Since Ganyu and Shenhe had originally come to Sumeru with Lumine, they didn't feel awkward or embarrassed in her presence.
Kamisato Ayaka and Ei, however, were a different story.
Ei had secretly slipped away from Inazuma, leaving all her responsibilities in the hands of Yae Miko. Ayaka had likewise fibbed to her brother about spending her days training her swordsmanship, only to use a teleportation toilet to sneak off to Sumeru.
Neither had informed anyone of their trip to Sumeru, and under Lumine and Paimon's meaningful gazes, both turned their faces away in flustered embarrassment.
"Wow, there's so many people here!"
Paimon floated over to the group as Lumine and Dunyarzad approached.
"Luo Qing... what's all this about?" Lumine asked softly, casting a subtle look at him.
"Well, it's the Sabzeruz Festival, so of course we're out to enjoy the festivities together!" Makoto replied with a gentle smile. To avoid unnecessary attention, she still wore her simulated mask, giving her face a resemblance to Ei's but with some noticeable differences.
"Thank you all for coming to celebrate the Sabzeruz Festival!" Dunyarzad said warmly. She didn't think too deeply about the group's makeup, assuming they were just a group of friends, with perhaps one or two couples mixed in.
After all, who would believe someone could juggle six girlfriends?
"I heard this year's festival is one of the best in recent years, so we couldn't miss it," Makoto replied politely.
"Miss Ei, Lady Ayaka, what brings you two to Sumeru?" Paimon asked, hovering closer. "And why did you ask us to bring those gifts for Luo Qing if you were coming here yourselves..."
Halfway through her question, Paimon suddenly noticed the looks the other girls were giving her—sharp enough to silence her instantly.
"Oh? You had them deliver something?" Makoto said with a sly smile, turning her gaze toward Ei.
"It was just a little sachet, nothing worth mentioning," Ei said, her cheeks tinged with pink as she pretended to admire the scenery.
The sachet, of course, contained the full power of her Musou no Hitotachi. If Luo Qing ever opened it, it could cleave Sumeru City in half, trees and all, rendering it uninhabitable for centuries.
Definitely nothing worth mentioning.
"And you, Ayaka?" Makoto's gaze shifted to Ayaka, her expression playfully curious.
"I, uh..." Ayaka stammered, visibly panicking.
The gift she had sent was a photo album—filled with candid shots of herself modeling outfits designed by Luo Qing. They weren't ordinary photos, though. The outfits Luo Qing had created were... a little too suggestive.
One outfit was racier than the next.
"Well, since you're all here, you might as well give them to him in person," Makoto said with a smile, skillfully changing the subject.
"Enough about that. I heard there's a fantastic show at the Zubair Theater tonight. Lumine, do you know what it is?"
As the matron of the group, Makoto knew how to smooth over tension and avoid embarrassing her "sisters." Fair treatment was a crucial skill for maintaining harmony among her family, especially when they all had similar tactics.
"I know!" Paimon raised her hand excitedly. "It's Nilou's dance performance! She's been preparing for it for ages, and I bet it's going to be amazing!"
"Really? Then we must see it. We should show our support," Makoto said, turning to the rest of the group.
"It's getting late. Let's head inside and find seats. It'll be hard to find good ones with so many people here tonight."
"Mm."
"Understood."
The girls nodded in agreement.
"We'll head in first, Luo Qing. You can catch up after you finish chatting with Lumine," Makoto said, leading the group toward the theater.
That left Luo Qing alone with Lumine and Paimon.
"How in Teyvat did you manage this?!" Paimon blurted, her eyes wide with disbelief as soon as the others were out of earshot.
"That's..." Luo Qing scratched his head, unsure how to answer.
Before that late-night discussion at Makoto's, the women had been at each other's throats—especially Shenhe and Ei, whose glares could've sparked a duel.
But somehow, after that night, the tension had vanished. Instead, the women seemed united, almost as if they were banding together against an unseen enemy.
He had no idea what Makoto had said to them.
"You'll have to ask Makoto. I'm as clueless as you are," Luo Qing said, shrugging.
"You're the main character here!" Paimon stamped her little feet in frustration.
"The main character got kicked out of the house that night. I have no idea what happened," Luo Qing replied with a resigned shake of his head.
"...Fine. Don't tell me, then," Paimon grumbled.
Lumine gave him a meaningful look. It was hard to believe that this man—beyond his good looks and cheeky attitude—was a Fatui Harbinger.
Where was the dignity? The gravitas? Instead, all he did was flirt.
"Here," Lumine said, pulling out two items from her bag: a small sachet glowing faintly with a deep purple hue and a slim photo album.
"This is from Ei. She said it contains the power of her full-strength Musou no Hitotachi. If your life's in danger, you can use your elemental power to open it. And this... this is from Ayaka."
Lumine hesitated, unsure how to describe the contents of the album.
"Just take a look later."
Remembering the scandalous outfits Ayaka had modeled in the photos, Lumine felt a mix of disbelief and resignation. Such a sweet, innocent girl—and yet she'd gone to such lengths for Luo Qing.
"Oh?" Luo Qing opened the album just a crack, peeking inside.
His eyes widened as he glimpsed Ayaka dressed in a three-piece swimsuit, sitting on a tatami mat and gazing shyly at the camera.
Tsk.
This was a treasure. Worth studying for "research" purposes to prepare for the real deal.
Sorry, big brother Kamisato. Your sister is just too tempting.
"How's Sumeru treating you these past few days?" Luo Qing asked, casually tucking the items into his inventory.
"Not bad. Why?" Lumine replied, puzzled.
"Just curious." Luo Qing waved her off. "Anyway, I should catch up with the others. Sleep well tonight."
Without waiting for a response, he turned and strode toward the theater.
"Lumine, who are all those girls to Luo Qing? I feel like I'm missing something here..." Dunyarzad asked, watching his retreating figure with a puzzled expression.
At first, she'd thought Makoto was Luo Qing's only partner, but now it seemed... more complicated.
"If you're confused, that makes two of us," Lumine sighed, glancing in the same direction.
"Whatever the case, those girls probably can't imagine life without him anymore..."
"..."
