When his vision cleared, he realized he was in an unfamiliar bedroom.
Out of the four potential destinations for his teleporting toilet, two were accounted for: one in Sumeru and another in the Plane of Euthymia. That left two others:
The Fatui safehouse in Mondstadt.
The one he had whimsically left with Kamisato Ayaka in Inazuma.
The tea table and tatami flooring immediately told him which destination it was.
Under the pale moonlight streaming through the window, the room's simple decor came into view: a neatly arranged tatami mat, a wooden tea table, a katana stand, and, of course, the toilet he was currently sitting on.
Turning toward the tatami, Luo Qing noticed the rise and fall of a futon's blanket, suggesting someone was asleep beneath it.
The sleeping figure had alabaster skin and long, flowing light-blue hair. Her neatly folded kimono lay beside her. The sound of soft, rhythmic breathing filled the room.
"..."
He remembered joking with Ayaka during their last meeting, suggesting she place the toilet in her bedroom for a "surprise" someday.
Who would've thought she'd actually do it?
Is this a surprise—or a problem?
"Maybe I should leave quietly..."
Ayaka looked utterly serene as she slept. Although the sight was alluring, Luo Qing knew their relationship hadn't reached that level yet.
We've only held hands, kissed a little, and maybe touched... a bit.
He couldn't risk waking her up now. He'd have no explanation.
Quietly, he pulled a stabilizer from his inventory and began installing it on the toilet. With slow, deliberate movements, he crouched and worked on the stabilizer, keeping his back to Ayaka.
---
However, as fate would have it, Kamisato Ayaka stirred.
Her eyes fluttered open as she stared at the dark ceiling, recalling the dream she'd just had.
In the dream, she and Luo Qing had been deeply in love. But then he turned to her, his expression heavy with regret.
"Ayaka," he said solemnly, "I've already fallen for someone else. You shouldn't contact me anymore—I don't want her to misunderstand."
With that, he pulled away, leaving her behind as he walked into the distance.
No matter how hard she tried to catch up, she could only watch his back grow farther and farther away.
"...That dream again..." Ayaka sighed softly. She had dreamt variations of it countless times ever since Luo Qing admitted he loved other women besides her. The thought had become a shadow over her heart.
Feeling warm and restless beneath the futon, she sat up, planning to get some water before going back to sleep.
That's when she noticed someone crouched in the corner, fiddling with the toilet Luo Qing had given her.
An intruder?
Suppressing her unease, Ayaka quietly reached for the katana on its stand. Using the futon to cover her chest, she tiptoed toward the figure.
"This dim lighting's such a pain... Which way does this piece go?" Luo Qing grumbled under his breath as he fumbled with the stabilizer.
Just as he was about to secure it, a blade came to rest against his neck.
"Thief! Don't move!"
Ayaka's soft yet firm voice cut through the silence.
"..."
Why does this feel so familiar? Luo Qing thought wryly.
He slowly turned his head and saw Ayaka standing behind him, one hand holding the futon over herself and the other gripping her blade.
Her eyes narrowed until recognition dawned.
"Luo Qing?!"
Her voice rose an octave, equal parts disbelief and joy.
"Ah... Long time no see, Ayaka," Luo Qing greeted awkwardly, coughing lightly.
---
A few minutes later, the two sat opposite each other at the tea table. The cups between them held only leftover cold tea from the previous night.
Luo Qing found himself at a loss for words. Ayaka was clearly delighted by his presence, but her radiant smile made his unplanned intrusion all the more embarrassing.
She had been sleeping so soundly—how did she wake up so quickly? He was sure his movements had been as quiet as possible.
"L-Luo Qing... When did you get here?" Ayaka's cheeks flushed as she glanced downward, her voice tinged with shyness. Her heart, however, brimmed with excitement.
"I just arrived," Luo Qing replied, doing his best to sound casual.
"Don't worry, Ayaka. I didn't see anything I shouldn't have."
"That's... That's fine."
Ayaka's blush deepened, her eyes darting away. If it's Luo Qing... even if he did see something, it wouldn't be so bad...
"Luo Qing... Did you come here using that thing?" Ayaka asked, gesturing toward the corner where the toilet stood.
"Pretty much," Luo Qing admitted. There was no point in hiding it.
"So that means..." Ayaka looked up, her eyes sparkling with hope.
"I could use it to visit you too?"
"..."
"Well, in theory..." Luo Qing nodded reluctantly.
"Really?!"
Her excitement was palpable. Her bright eyes gleamed with anticipation as she leaned forward.
"Can you teach me how to use it right now?"
"Uh..." Luo Qing hesitated. He had intended to slip in and out unnoticed, but Ayaka's eager expression made refusal impossible.
I guess showing her how to use it won't hurt...
After a moment of thought, he nodded.
"All right."
"Mm!"
Ayaka stood quickly, moving to his side with an eager smile. She took his hand and led him to the toilet.
"What do I do?" she asked, her voice brimming with curiosity.
"It's simple."
Luo Qing sat on the toilet, patting his lap.
"Come on, sit here. I'll show you."
Ayaka hesitated for only a moment before blushing deeply. Gently, she turned and perched herself on his lap, her back pressing against his chest.
"See this screen?" Luo Qing pointed at a small display. "You choose your destination here, then pull the flush handle."
A soft gurgle followed the sound of running water.
In the next instant, they disappeared together.

The world seemed to spin for Kamisato Ayaka as her vision distorted, the sensation akin to being caught in the swirling vortex of a flushing toilet.
Moments later, her surroundings stabilized, and she found herself standing beneath the branches of a massive tree. Moonlight filtered through the leaves, dappling her figure with soft, silvery light.
"This place is..."
Looking down, Ayaka marveled at the colossal tree trunk beneath her feet. It was larger than even the Sacred Sakura of Inazuma. All around her, lush rainforests and tranquil streams painted a breathtaking scene.
"This is Sumeru," Luo Qing said from beneath her, his voice light with amusement. "And Ayaka, you can get up now. Unless, of course, you'd prefer to keep sitting on my lap..."
Only then did Ayaka realize their current posture: she was seated sideways on Luo Qing's lap, his arm securely around her waist. Both were still perched on the toilet they had used to teleport.
The position was intimate enough to set the stage for a romantic drama.
"Ah—sorry!"
Her face flushed a deep red as she quickly scrambled off his lap, smoothing her clothes nervously. Turning her gaze to the dense foliage around them, she asked softly,
"Luo Qing, why are you here in Sumeru?"
"Oh, work stuff." Luo Qing stood and casually brushed himself off. "You know how it is with the Fatui—either causing trouble or on the way to cause it."
"Mm..."
Ayaka nodded faintly, though her mind was elsewhere.
She couldn't help but think back to the challenges his Fatui identity had posed for their relationship. Her brother had vehemently opposed it, and the Kamisato family's political position left no room for ties with such an organization.
But now, Ayaka no longer cared about any of that. She was determined to overcome any obstacle for him.
Suddenly, she reached out and took his hand, her slender fingers entwining with his.
"Luo Qing," she said softly, her voice trembling with emotion. "No matter who you are or what you've done, it doesn't matter to me."
"Huh?"
Luo Qing glanced down at her, surprised.
Ayaka's cheeks turned crimson as she lowered her head. Her grip on his hand tightened. "No matter what happens... I'll never leave you."
"..."
Luo Qing was taken aback. When had Ayaka become so forward?
If he didn't know better, he'd swear she was self-progging!
If only he could check her Affinity level—he was curious how high it had climbed.
"S-so..."
Ayaka lifted her head, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
"Please, Luo Qing... don't abandon me."
"..."
Luo Qing felt a pang of guilt.
I've never even hinted at leaving her. Why does she look so heartbroken?
"Don't worry, Ayaka." He pulled her into his arms, holding her close.
"How could I ever abandon you? If anything, it should be me asking you not to leave me."
"I... I would never!" Ayaka blurted out, her voice resolute.
"Good..."
Smiling softly, Luo Qing cupped her face in his hands and kissed her.
The kiss lingered for a long moment before they finally parted.
Ayaka's face was a vivid shade of red, her breaths coming quick and shallow. She looked like a ripe strawberry, practically begging to be bitten.
Yeah, it's time to upgrade the house, Luo Qing thought. A little two-story place isn't going to cut it anymore. I need a sprawling estate like Uncle Diluc's, or there won't be room for everyone.
"Luo Qing, do you usually rest here?" Ayaka asked shyly, glancing at their surroundings.
She had hoped that the other side of the teleport would lead to his home, where she could look around and maybe... share a moment together.
But all she saw was the canopy of a massive tree.
"Of course not," Luo Qing replied with a chuckle. "I only came here to test if the connection to your place would work properly. Next time you visit, you'll be able to teleport directly to my home."
With the stabilizer installed, traveling across Teyvat was going to be as convenient as using in-game waypoints.
In the future, Luo Qing planned to dedicate a room in his home to the teleport system. That way, Ayaka could visit him anytime without issue.
Though, given the self-proclaimed "queen" of the house, he'd need to smooth things over before inviting Ayaka.
In truth, Luo Qing's imagined harem drama had yet to materialize. Makoto had an uncanny ability to keep things running smoothly. Even Theresa and Rosalyne were well-behaved under her watchful eye.
"Next time..." Ayaka whispered. "Can't it be this time?"
"Not yet," Luo Qing said, thinking quickly. "The house is still under renovation..."
Ayaka's shoulders sagged in disappointment, prompting him to gently pat her head.
"How about this? I promise that next time you visit, there will be a room just for you. Deal?"
"R-really?"
Her eyes lit up, though she quickly ducked her head again. "But... the Kamisato family has rules. Unmarried women can't live with men, and... and we can't, um..."
"It wouldn't be living together," Luo Qing reassured her. "Just a place for you to stay when you visit. The room will always be yours."
"Mm..." Ayaka nodded, her cheeks still flushed.

In Liyue
After a brief respite, Lumine and Paimon set off toward Sumeru, their path taking them through The Chasm.
But unlike their usual duo, this time they had two additional companions.
"I'm serious, Shenhe, Ganyu. Do you really have to come with us to Sumeru?" Paimon sighed, exasperated.
All she had done was drunkenly joke at dinner, saying, "Knowing that rascal Luo Qing, he's probably waiting for us in Sumeru already."
Somehow, Shenhe and Ganyu had taken her words to heart.
One had declared she was going to train abroad for six months, while the other had promptly filed for an extended leave of absence.
Shenhe was supposed to be the stoic type, and Ganyu a workaholic!
What did that scoundrel do to these two?
"I've made up my mind," Shenhe said firmly, her gaze locked on the horizon. "Paimon, there's no need to persuade me further."
"But..."
"I will find Luo Qing in Sumeru," Shenhe continued, her tone resolute. "And if he's not there, I'll go to Snezhnaya."
"..."
[+1 Frustration Point from Paimon]
Paimon turned to Ganyu, hoping for some backup.
"Ganyu, can't you talk some sense into her?"
But Ganyu merely lowered her head and said softly, "I feel the same way as Shenhe."
"?!"
