Luo Qing felt a chill run down his spine under Lumine's scrutinizing gaze. Instinctively, he tried to change the subject.
"By the way, that all-healing pill I gave you—did it come in handy?"
"You knew he would…"
Lumine furrowed her brow slightly, a realization dawning on her.
Luo Qing was a Fatui Harbinger, and it was very likely he had connections to that Delusion factory.
"Don't look at me like that."
Luo Qing chuckled lightly and continued,
"That place isn't under my jurisdiction. If you're seeking revenge, you'll have to take it up with Signora or the Doctor—that's their domain."
"…"
Lumine remained silent for a moment before murmuring softly,
"His life was saved, but the vitality he lost… it's irreversible."
"So, you're saying he's aged from a young man to an old one overnight, right?"
"Mm…"
"I see."
That lined up with what Luo Qing had expected.
The all-healing pill could only mend physical injuries. For something like a Delusion, which drains life force, even the pill was unlikely to work.
"Don't look so glum. If you're still holding a grudge, you can settle it with Signora and the Doctor later."
Luo Qing stood up, patted Lumine on the shoulder, and pulled a small note from his pocket, handing it to her. He then turned to Ayaka with a calm expression.
"Well then, Ayaka, let's call it a day. Lumine still has something to discuss with you, so I won't overstay my welcome~"
Without waiting for Kamisato Ayaka to invite him to stay, Luo Qing waved casually and left the Komore Teahouse.
After he was gone, Lumine unfolded the note in her hand.
On it was an address, followed by a short line of text:
"If you want to bring down the Tenryou Commission, this might have what you need~"
"This…"
Lumine looked up at Ayaka, her gaze momentarily complex.
Meanwhile, elsewhere…
Now that Lumine had returned to Inazuma City, Luo Qing knew the in-game storyline was nearing its climax. He figured it was time to inform Rosalyne and let her decide when to meet the Raiden Shogun.
Although Rosalyne had been forced into a recluse's lifestyle for a while because of him, her inherent pride and sharp tongue hadn't changed a bit.
Sure, the Raiden Shogun acted all docile and sweet around Luo Qing, but anyone else would have to watch their tone in her presence—or risk getting slashed.
To bring Rosalyne over from the Tsaritsa's side, Luo Qing would have to make the Fatui officially declare her dead, give her a new identity, and make her vanish from the public eye.
Only then, when she was "his"… subordinate, of course, would he not have to worry about Pierro or the Tsaritsa coming after her.
Leaving the Komore Teahouse, Luo Qing headed toward his safehouse.
But he hadn't gone far when he felt someone's eyes on him.
Scanning his surroundings, he noticed several figures hidden among the crowd. They looked like ordinary passersby, but their gazes occasionally darted his way, clearly thinking they hadn't been spotted.
To Luo Qing, a veteran of the intelligence world, their attempts at stealth were as amateurish as kids playing hide-and-seek.
"Tch, familiar faces, too," Luo Qing muttered to himself with a wry smile.
Many of those watching him were people he had seen at the Resistance's camp. A few of them had even trained under him, alongside Gorou.
No wonder they looked so riled up at the sight of him.
Apparently, he'd trained them a little too well.
"So, they've already infiltrated this far…"
Luo Qing couldn't be bothered with the Resistance spies. Shaking his head, he prepared to head back.
That was when a mature woman's voice called out behind him.
"It's been a while, Luo Qing."
Turning around, Luo Qing saw Yae Miko approaching with her signature foxy elegance.
"What's this? Miss Yae, did you miss me?"
Luo Qing chuckled, casting another glance at the figures watching from the shadows.
"So, these people—were they your doing?"
"Whatever are you saying, Luo Qing?"
Yae Miko's mischievous smile didn't waver.
"I was merely running a little errand for a friend in Inazuma City. Surely, you wouldn't pin such baseless accusations on me~"
Her eyes narrowed slightly, and her smile suddenly turned sharp.
"But you, Luo Qing—don't you think you owe me an explanation for what happened in Tatarasuna?"
She hated being led by the nose, and Luo Qing always seemed to anticipate her every move. It irked her to no end.
"Explanation? For what?"
Feigning ignorance, Luo Qing tilted his head.
"I am a Harbinger, after all. Knowing a few things here and there isn't exactly unusual, is it?"
"Hmph, still as glib as ever."
Yae Miko snorted lightly before changing the subject, lowering her voice.
"How is she… lately?"
"No idea," Luo Qing replied nonchalantly. "She said something about training and hasn't been around for a while."
He wasn't lying—since their last, er, intimate encounter, it had been nearly a month since he'd seen the Raiden Shogun or Ei.
He had no idea what their so-called training entailed.
If not for the unchanged favorability displayed on his metaphorical "dashboard," he might've worried the two had gone off to transcend some love tribulation.
"Training?"
Yae Miko's brows furrowed in confusion.
Since Ei had retreated to the Plane of Euthymia, Yae hadn't heard of her doing any training.
Besides, when she visited Inazuma City, wasn't the puppet still in the Tenshukaku?
Other than a subtle change in her demeanor, there hadn't been any noticeable differences…
"Well, that's what she said. I'm not too sure about the specifics."
Luo Qing shrugged and added, "If you're curious, Miss Yae, you can always ask her yourself. I've got things to do, so let's chat another time."
With that, Luo Qing waved goodbye, not giving Yae Miko a chance to respond before turning and leaving.
"…"
Yae Miko stood there silently for a moment.
Something about this didn't sit right with her…
But her priority was still to coax Ei out of the Plane of Euthymia.
She had been planning this for a long time, and now was a critical moment. She couldn't afford any missteps.
After a brief moment of contemplation, Yae Miko glanced toward the Tenshukaku and then began making her way out of the city.
After parting with Yae Miko, Luo Qing finally returned to his safehouse.
Opening the door, he found Rosalyne lounging on his bed, one hand holding a light novel, the other snacking on cookies.
"Something you need?"
Rosalyne asked casually, not even glancing away from her book.
"You can go see the Raiden Shogun now."
"Huh?"
Rosalyne froze mid-bite, momentarily caught off guard.
Then she turned her head away, continuing to read as she popped the cookie into her mouth.
"Hmph, so sudden. You're not plotting against me, are you?"
"…"
Luo Qing was momentarily speechless.
"Suit yourself. It's not my problem—the Tsaritsa ordered you to retrieve the Gnosis, not me."
He left the room without another word.
If he were honest, he felt a bit guilty.
How did Rosalyne know he wanted to… well, recruit her?
No way she'd figured it out… right?

Thanks to the commotion he had caused at Tatarasuna, he had managed to accumulate enough "Frustration Points" over the past few days for another round of draws—ninety pulls, to be precise.
Though he still didn't know who the Seed of Nirvana was meant for, Luo Qing decided it was best to draw it in advance, just in case it became necessary.
Normally, he would pick a lucky spot to perform his pulls, hoping to improve his odds of success. However, time was tight—who knew when Lumine might storm the Tenshukaku?
As a compromise, he headed to the camp where several captured samurai were being held, intending to conduct the pulls while assigning tasks to his subordinates afterward.
---
Upon arriving at the camp, Theresa and Natalia were surprised to see their master suddenly appear and quickly stood up to greet him.
"Master! What brings you here?" Theresa exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.
"I came to check on you all and discuss the next mission," Luo Qing replied, casting a glance at the captured samurai confined near the edge of the cave.
Their eyes met his briefly before the samurai quickly averted their gazes, retreating in fear.
It had been months since they were first captured and brought to Inazuma. Guarded in turns by Natalia and the others, the samurai had become visibly distraught.
"…What happened to them?" Luo Qing asked, his gaze turning to Theresa, Natalia, and the rest.
"Well…"
Igor was the first to deflect. "Master, you know me. I never torture prisoners…"
Luo Qing turned to Sergei next.
Sergei shrugged. "Master, if it were me, you'd see scars all over their bodies by now."
"…"
Finally, his gaze landed on Natalia.
Natalia tensed up under his scrutiny. "Master, you know me—I have no interest in other men…"
"…"
Well, that narrowed it down. Luo Qing shifted his focus to Theresa, his tone calm.
"What did you do to them? Why do they all look like they're on the verge of a mental breakdown?"
"Uh…"
Theresa shrank back, her face pale. "I just… had some casual chats with them… you know… when I had nothing else to do…"
"…"
Chatted? You drove them insane with conversation?
Luo Qing didn't press her further. Instead, he walked over to the samurai and asked casually,
"What did she do to you?"
The samurai exchanged glances, their fear of Theresa apparent as they shrank away, unwilling to answer.
"Speak, or die."
"Ah…"
A younger samurai, clearly intimidated, stammered,
"T-That woman… she forced us to talk to her… If we didn't say what she wanted to hear, she'd electrocute us…"
"?"
Luo Qing turned to glance at Theresa, who had already hidden behind a rock. She peeked at him nervously, her eyes filled with fear.
"And what exactly did she talk to you about?"
"She… she kept asking if someone named Luo Qing would ever fall for her. If we said no, she'd electrocute us. If we said yes, she'd accuse us of lying because 'someone like Master Luo Qing would never fall for her so easily.' Then she'd electrocute us again…"
An older samurai, visibly more worn out, added weakly.
It was obvious he had been on the receiving end of the "chats" more than the others.
"…"
[Frustration Points from Luo Qing +1]
"Come here," Luo Qing said, his tone calm.
"M-Master?"
Theresa hesitantly peeked out from behind her hiding spot, her expression a mix of embarrassment and fear.
"I said, come here."
"Ugh…"
Reluctantly, Theresa stepped out from behind the rock, shuffling nervously until she was standing before Luo Qing.
"Master… I was wrong… Please punish me however you see fit…"
"You…" Luo Qing sighed, exasperated.
Punishing her felt unnecessary—the samurai were criminals who had tried to drown innocent villagers, after all. A bit of electrocution wasn't exactly unwarranted.
But letting her off entirely would only encourage her behavior, potentially worsening her obsessive tendencies. Who knew what she might do next?
"…I'll deal with you later."
For now, Luo Qing decided to focus on his pulls.
He sat down by the campfire and opened the draw interface with a thought.
Alright, let's do this.
Golden Legend!
---
After ninety pulls, Luo Qing once again found himself hitting the pity threshold.
"Sigh…"
He shook his head in resignation and opened his inventory screen.
[Inventory Results]
Seed of Nirvana (Gold) x1
Master Ball (Teyvat Edition) (Purple) x2
Interstellar Flush Toilet (Purple) x2
Decoy Doll (Purple) x1
Affection Boost Card ProMax (Purple) x2
Electro Vision x1
Vision Binding Card (Purple) x1
"…Huh? What's with these bizarre items?" Luo Qing muttered, surprised. He opened the description menu to inspect the items.
[Item Descriptions]
Seed of Nirvana: Repairs fragmented souls and reconstructs physical bodies. The reconstructed body will not restore the target's previous powers, limiting their strength to that of an ordinary person.
Master Ball (Teyvat Edition): Usable on mentally weakened targets (success rate depends on the target's mental fortitude). Has a chance to establish a servant contract, binding the target to the user. The servant cannot disobey the user's commands unless their mental strength surpasses the user's.
Decoy Doll: Upon use, teleports the user to a random location, leaving a decoy in their place. (Essential for survival on the go—highly recommended!)
At this point, Luo Qing couldn't help but sigh.
Clearly, trouble was brewing for him. The system seemed intent on throwing survival tools his way instead of items to boost his strength.
"What's with all the escape gear? Can't I get something that actually makes me stronger?"
He shook his head and turned to his subordinates.
"You, come here," he called out to Natalia and the others.
"Master?"
They approached hesitantly, unnerved by the strange expression Luo Qing had been wearing.
"You all…" Luo Qing paused before continuing,
"When Rosalyne goes to meet the Raiden Shogun, her life will be in danger. I will ensure her safety, but your task will be to take her away and hide her. Do not let anyone know she's still alive. Understood?"
"Master… you mean…" Natalia trailed off, hesitant.
The situation felt eerily similar to when they had rescued Theresa. She couldn't help but speculate.
"You guessed it." Luo Qing nodded.
"…"
The group fell silent, marveling at their master's audacity.
The idea of turning a fellow Harbinger—currently their superior, no less—into one of his subordinates?
Only Luo Qing would dare pull off something so outrageous.
"Master… do you really think this will work?"
"Of course." Luo Qing's confidence was unwavering. He added after a moment's thought,
"I might also end up in danger, but don't worry about me. Just stick to the plan. Understood?"
"Yes, Master Luo Qing!"
