Today, I'm finally heading back, and I can't wait to see Viv. Just the thought of her has me grinning like an idiot. As the plane prepares for takeoff, I'm already planning a little surprise. Instead of waiting until tomorrow, I've decided to book a room at a hotel near the charity gala venue where she'll be tonight. Seeing her there will be the perfect surprise.

The air hostess's voice pulls me out of my thoughts as she announces the flight's departure. I grab my duffel bag and suitcase, settle into my seat, and put on my sleep mask to rest before landing. My mind, however, refuses to stay quiet. It keeps wandering back to Viv. There's just something about her that holds me captive. Everything reminds me of her—her laugh, her scent, the way she looks at me. She's so different from anyone I've ever been with, and I'm completely enamored.
