Wow, a great story indeed! The one that catched my attention the most was the fact that the story had been written in the first pov which is pretty uncommon to see. The story is smooth and engaging, the FL is written very well which is a rare sight to see.
Five star book📚 I can’t expect what will happen next and I can’t guess it right. That’s what I like most about the book. Filled with plenty surprises.
The characters are well developed, and the story is fast-paced. The female lead is strong and smart. At 18, she is unwillingly gifted to a powerful mafia Don to repay the debt that her father owes. She was meant for the son, but complications arose. She's trapped in a place where she barely speaks the language and is without resources/help. How will she be free of the Don's grasp and return to the home she knows and loves? I'm still reading, but this book hooked me from the start because the action moved quickly. The tension is gripping. And, the battle of the minds between Ivanna, the fl, and the Don is intense.
Great story, ladies get in here and read! One thing to complain though I was really expecting the mafia boss to say, "You're breaking your mother Heart!" or something like that, either way, it's still good!
Usually not my type of story but I'd definitely recommend it for how good the writing is. characters are done well, the scenes are amazing, I can't believe there's not more people saying amazing things about this story! I'd definitely recommend reading it. Everything about it makes it worth the read. only complaint, need more chapters!! Self-promotion just to kickstart the review, lol Anyway 24 chapters in, so I'm gonna leave my shameless author review.For everyone who loves their romance dark and messy (in the best way), this one hits all the right spots. If you're like me and live for the 'I know I shouldn't but I can't help myself' trope, THIS IS YOUR BOOK! The boss is everything you want in a morally grey hero, and the chemistry with his mistress is whew! Fair warning: you might need a cold shower or three. Happy Reading
Good setting and pacing. It's also engaging and unique. Nice few chapters in, so continue updating.
10/10 STARS!! IT IS A VERY EASY READ! THE WRITING STYLE IS JUST PURE MAFIA PERFECTION!! I Anna just slept with Alexei to her making her stand to go to college for freedom not marrying Karlen. But I'm curious about Karlen and Sergio though.. GREAT JOB!!!!
