Hae-Jung's face darkened with anger as she glared at Su Ming-Yu.
"You're lucky this time!" she snapped.
With that, she turned and walked towards Min Yuna, her expression still dark.
When she reached Min Yuna, she asked curtly, "Director Min, what do you want to discuss?"
Min Yuna maintained a serious expression as she replied, "Let's talk in my office."
Without waiting for an answer, Min Yuna turned and walked towards her office, her confident stride accentuated by her poised demeanor. Hae-Jung followed reluctantly.
Once inside the office, Min Yuna retrieved a stack of thick documents from her desk drawer.
"Professor Hae-Jung, I hope you won't be prejudiced against the students," she said evenly.
Hae-Jung frowned. "Is that all?" she asked, her tone laced with irritation.
Min Yuna shook her head. "No, there's more. These documents contain reports that I'd like you to examine carefully."
She handed the pile to Hae-Jung, whose expression became more and more sour as he turned the pages.
Finally, Hae-Jung looked up sharply, his eyes blazing. "Director Min, where did you get these? I can tell you that these documents are fake!"
Min Yuna remained calm and smiled slightly. "I retrieved them myself, and I believe you know if they're true or not."
Hae-Jung took a deep breath and nodded stiffly. "Very well. I'll withdraw and stop bothering this student."
Min Yuna's smile deepened. "Good. He's just a student - there's no need for undue hostility."
Hae-Jung nodded again. "Understood, Director Min."
Meanwhile, in the underground parking lot, Su Ming-Yu sat in the passenger seat, his expression solemn as he fastened his seatbelt.
His furrowed brow and pensive gaze caught Kang Suyeon's attention. She reached over and gently placed her hand on his.
"Mingyu, don't worry too much. Even if the professor gives me a hard time, it's okay," she said softly, smiling at him.
Su Ming-Yu's tense expression softened and a small smile appeared on his face.
"Don't worry," he said firmly. "I won't let her bully you. If she dares, I'll take care of her myself."
Kang Suyeon's heart warmed and she nodded slightly.
"So... where are we going now? Back to Hanyang Community?" she asked.
Su Ming-Yu shook his head. "No, to Seonjoo Gymnasium."
"Seonjoo Gym? Are you planning to join as a member?" she asked in surprise.
He shook his head again. "No, I'm working on a renovation plan."
"A renovation plan? Are you opening a gym?" she exclaimed.
Su Mingyu nodded with a smile. "Yes. I have some ideas. Now, let's go."
Kang Suyeon started the car, the engine roaring as they left the parking lot.
On the road, Kang Suyeon seemed thoughtful, occasionally glancing at Su Ming-Yu at red lights. Finally, she spoke hesitantly.
"Ming-Yu, about Director Min... what is your relationship with her?"
Su Ming-Yu chuckled. "Do you think I have a hidden relationship with her?"
Kang Suyeon blushed and hesitated before answering. "No! I mean... shouldn't you explain why she helped you?"
Su Ming-Yu slightly flicked her forehead. "Don't overthink it. I'm just as curious. I've never even spoken to her."
Relieved, Kang Suyeon smiled. "Alright. I trust you."
Suddenly, she felt a warmth on her leg. But by now, she was used to Su Ming-Yu's playful gestures and just let him be.
