Chương 2: Talk to the Hokage I

Hiruzen gave the troubled youth a reassuring smile. "Sasuke, you look much better." The young man stared intently at the Hokage, his mind racing with questions and strategies. "Where is my family?" The expression on Hiruzen's face changed, his smile fading as he took a puff of his pipe. "Sasuke, your clan, including your parents, was massacred by your brother, Itachi." Sasuke's eyes widened in shock. "What? No, that can't be! Itachi would never do that!" he exclaimed, his voice rising in disbelief and anger. Hiruzen remained calm, knowing how difficult this revelation was. "I know this is hard to believe, Sasuke, but you must be strong."

A heavy silence fell over the room, and Sasuke stood there, his head bowed, processing this new reality. Igor's memories mingled with Sasuke's, but a determination began to take shape. "If that's how the story goes, then I'll do something about it. I won't be a victim again." He looked up, his gaze fierce as he stared at the Hokage. "I'll capture him myself and make him suffer."

Hiruzen watched the scene unfold, feeling a wave of pity for the young man who had suffered so much. "Sasuke, I swear we will do everything we can to capture that traitor and bring him to justice for this atrocity," the Hokage said, trying to comfort him. But the determination in Sasuke's eyes did not waver. "I don't need your help. I'll do it myself."

Realizing that the boy needed time to process everything, Hiruzen decided it was time to leave. "You still need to rest, Sasuke. I have many matters to attend to." As Hiruzen turned to leave, Sasuke stopped him. "Wait, what about my clan's land?" Hiruzen hesitated for a moment, surprised by the question. "I think that's a topic for another time. After you recover, we can discuss these matters." After a brief moment of thought, Sasuke nodded, accepting the answer. "Alright, then I'll see you later." Hiruzen left the room quickly, his mind clearly troubled. "What in the world is Fugaku putting into his children's heads?"

Left alone, Sasuke was lost in thought. The Uchiha clan compound didn't matter as much to him, but gathering ryo and ninja scrolls was essential. The money would be useful for buying equipment and supplies, while the scrolls could provide the power he desired. "I need to become strong and prosperous in this new world," he thought, his mind racing with ideas about how he could do that.

Feeling the fatigue finally catching up with him, he decided it was time to rest. "I better lie down; I'm still not fully recovered." As he lay in bed, he imagined his next conversation with the Hokage, focusing on how he could turn the situation to his advantage. "The Uchiha clan lands could be a goldmine. I'll use them to become stronger."

In the Hokage's office, Hiruzen sat at his desk, smoking his pipe and pondering his conversation with the young Uchiha. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. A figure entered, leaning on a crutch and with one arm heavily bandaged. It was Shimura Danzo, one of the village elders and leader of the Root.

"Hiruzen, hand over the boy. He will be better trained in my Root," Danzo demanded, getting straight to the point. Hiruzen looked calmly at his old friend and took a slow drag from his pipe. "Danzoo, the boy will be trained at the academy. He needs to maintain ties with the village," the Hokage replied, his voice firm. Danzo, furious, slammed his cane on the floor. "Ridiculous! In my hands, he and that jinchuriki will become the village's greatest assets."

The tension in the air grew, and Hiruzen felt frustration welling up inside him. "Enough! I told you to stop thinking about Naruto. I am the Hokage!" Danzo's uncovered eye widened in fury, his gaze burning. "You will regret this, Hiruzen," he growled, storming out of the office in a fit of rage.

After Danzo left, Hiruzen turned his attention back to his pipe, watching the door close behind the elder with a satisfied smile. "I am the Hokage," he murmured, his voice filled with power and determination. He then opened a secret compartment in his desk and took out a crystal ball. Gazing into it, a torrent of intense visions began to appear, and his nose started to bleed from the force of the images. "Yes, I am the Hokage," he laughed, his smile widening, overflowing with satisfaction and confidence in his role.

Meanwhile, in his room, Sasuke contemplated the possibilities that the future held. He didn't feel the pain of losing his clan, but an intense determination not to be just a pawn in someone else's game. He wanted power, strength, and a place in the new world he now inhabited. "I won't seek revenge, but rather, prosperity," he thought, recalling the techniques he wanted to master and the skills he needed to acquire.

Sasuke closed his eyes, allowing darkness to envelop him. He dreamed of his future, a future where he wouldn't just be an Uchiha, but a true master of his destiny, someone who didn't need pain and revenge to become stronger. He wanted to earn his place and, in doing so, change the story that was destined for him. With this determination, he fell asleep, ready for what was to come.
