Chương 30: Chapter 30: Half-Brothers Talk
Mattholomule went into the room for him and then soon entered Steve his half-brother; "Looks like we are going to be his roomies bro!" Steve said with a smile putting down his hood and taking off his mask. Mattholomule blinked at him and Steve looked concerned as he asked "did I say something wrong?"
"Nothing to say? About what we had just saw and what I end up doing to that Gus kid in order to claim his president position?" Mattholomule asked as Steve sighed.
"I admit.... That was kind of low and I hope you don't do anything like that now but... I can't help but wondered how much of this atittude was shaped by what you went through at Glandus. Especially with Bria and that lot but if you try to put away the Glandus mindset than I am sure that you can make new better friends who are actual friends..." Steve told him and Mattholomule looked unsure. "I am sure that even Luz and her friends group would give you another chance. Remember that her girlfriend almost got her cut open on the day that they first met. Plus I am just glad that you are okay and please forgive me for not giving this to you earlier and not getting a chance to sit with you during intermissions." Steve said pulling him into a hug which he returned with tears in their eyes.
"So anyway..... The Coven you worked so hard to get into is actually a cult for an evil tyrant plus your boss cursed her sister and almost got the human killed..." Mattholomule pointed out and Steve laughed nervously.
"Yeah.... Still miffed about Mam but everyone else is giving her another chance so will I! Plus a real opening my eyes about Emperor Belos and as soon as we are done; I will definitely be joining in whatever plan she, Eda and Luz ends up with to do something about him!" he said seriously. "I bet this is why I was added to the audience to help the resistance! Not that I am just some funny character Cornholio wanted to add and didn't think I would show up again and have relevance! That I would have revelations that he could add in and dodged a bullet if it turned out that I was a true believer of the Emperor!" Steve said posing dramatically.
"That is oddly specific..." Mattholomule pointed out and Steve guessed that it was. Then they got ready for bed.
