The Land of Frost.
A biting chill filled the air, with dark clouds blotting out the sun above.
On a vast, open plain, the camps of Konoha and Kumogakure faced each other from five kilometers apart, a tense silence stretching between them.
Now, Konoha's ninja forces moved steadily toward the battlefield.
This time, to counter Kumogakure's provocation, Konoha had sent a contingent of elite ninjas led by the Uchiha and Akimichi clans.
In a rare move to prove their loyalty, the Uchiha had even sent 15 joins, including the clan leader, Fugaku Uchiha himself. The intention was clear: they wanted to shed the suspicions hanging over them.
However, the Konoha higher-ups weren't so easily swayed. After all, during the night of the Nine-Tails attack, it was hard to miss the Sharingan glaring into the fox's eyes, almost as visible as the Hokage Rock itself.
"Uchiha Madara... and Uchiha Obito…"
Under his mask, Kazuya's expression turned thoughtful. He knew Fugaku's efforts would ultimately be in vain. Ever since the Nine-Tails' rampage, the Uchiha's fate was essentially sealed. Even though the clan was trying desperately to redeem themselves, Kazuya was well aware that the village's leaders were merely waiting for the right time to strike.

Soon, Konoha's ninjas settled into formation.**
Thirty-two jonin and close to two hundred chunin lined up, forming a formidable force. Despite their advantage in jonin numbers, most of the Konoha ninjas had somber expressions.
They knew well why this battle was a heavy one. Though their numbers matched those of Kumogakure, the difference lay in the jinchuriki—powerful, living weapons.
The thought of fighting a jinchuriki was daunting. On the battlefield, they were calamities, and disasters personified. For most ordinary ninjas, it was like facing a force of nature.
The ninjas glanced at Kazuya, a mix of skepticism and disappointment flickering in their eyes.
"Why is an ANBU operative leading us?"
"Yeah, where's Lord Jiraiya?"
"Would be much better with him here…"
"Hush, that's Kazuya, the one who injured Orochimaru!" someone muttered.
The whispers grew, many doubting Kazuya's abilities despite the rumors of his strength. They assumed he'd just been lucky, perhaps catching Orochimaru by surprise.
From a nearby squad, Yugao Uzuki scoffed, looking at her comrades in disdain. These fools wouldn't understand Kazuya's strength even if they saw it firsthand. She smirked, waiting for Kazuya to make them eat their words.

As the Konoha forces held formation, they saw Kumogakure preparing to advance.**
Across the field, Kumogakure's forces looked just as disciplined and fearsome, their ranks lined with jonin and chunin in perfect formation.
Then, a young woman with long, dark auburn hair and a serious expression stepped forward. Kumogakure's troops knelt in her presence.
"Lady Yugito!" they hailed.
The jinchuriki of the Two-Tails, Yugito Nii, raised her hand, addressing her troops with authority. "I will handle Konoha's best. You need only keep the rest occupied. Killer Bee will be here soon, and together we'll deliver a decisive blow."
"Yes, Lady Yugito!" The soldiers' spirits rose, chanting as they prepared to follow her lead.
"Advance!" Yugito's voice rang across the plain.
At her command, the Kumogakure forces surged forward, hands gripping kunai and ninja tools, eyes fixed on the enemy.
Konoha's lookout ninja sounded the alarm.
"They're coming!" a Hyuga sentinel shouted.
"Defensive positions!" Fugaku Uchiha commanded, his voice booming over the roar of charging enemies. "Long-range units, neutralize their projectiles! Close-combat squads, move in with me!"
On the wide, open plains, Konoha and Kumogakure camps faced each other from a five-kilometer distance, both ready for the impending clash.
In the Konoha camp, Fugaku Uchiha drew his kunai and signaled the charge. "Attack! With me, for Konoha!"
"Follow Lord Fugaku! Uchiha leads the way!" the warriors rallied, their voices booming over the plains.
Hundreds of Konoha ninja surged forward from the trenches, and the entire battlefield echoed with their war cries.
Back in the trenches, a team of wind-style users began forming hand seals.
"Wind Style: Gale Force!"
"Wind Style: Breakthrough!"
"Wind Style: Air Blast!"
Several gusts of wind jutsu surged through the air, scattering the incoming wave of kunai like leaves in a storm. Thousands of kunai clattered to the ground, creating a dramatic rain of steel.
Then, the frontlines clashed with explosive intensity, close-combat forces colliding in a chaotic melee. Konoha and Kumogakure ninja grappled, each pouring their strength and skill into every strike.
"Die, Konoha scum!" a large, muscled Cloud shinobi roared as he grabbed an Akimichi ninja, lifting him for a brutal slam.
But the Akimichi barely flinched, his body expanding into a larger form as he flipped back up.
"Meatball Tank!" The Akimichi curled into a ball, his form ballooning as he rolled furiously into the ranks of Kumogakure ninjas, crashing through them like a boulder.
A loud, bellowing Cloud ninja ignited his fists in lightning, shouting, "Stop that runaway meatball! Bring him down!"
He charged, colliding with the Akimichi's form in a display of pure strength, each pushing against the other in a fierce contest of brute force.
Meanwhile, in the chaos of the battlefield, streaks of golden light shot across the air, heading for a quiet spot on the sidelines where Kazuya stood observing.
[You have collected 100 chakra points]
[You have collected 200 battle experience points]
[You have collected 30 Wind-Style affinity points]
[You have collected 30 Lightning-Style affinity points]
Kazuya's eyes gleamed behind his mask as he watched the battlefield erupt with opportunity.
"So this is war… it's intoxicating."
He couldn't contain his excitement. In just a few moments, he had accumulated over 10,000 chakra points from the intense battle.
"Crazy…" he muttered to himself with a thrill. "This is beyond any training!"
