The conversation between Dusken and the man went on for some time, and soon, Dusken learnedthe name of the broad-shouldered figure.

He was called Jack, once a homeless wanderer whose village was destroyed by a rank nine cursed creature.

However, Commander Kael found him on one expeditions and took him back to join the army of the Verdant Nation.

Ever since, Jack had been ostracised and bullied since he didn't have the Verdant Nation's Innate Affinity for nature.

Yet now, Jack was a level six, and his sole aim in life was to have revenge on the Cursed creature that had caused the downfall of his village.

Of course, all this information wasn't what Dusken sought after. He was just playing on the edge, wanting to pull Jack into a whirlpool of emotions before striking.

However, he had to say that his mind was reeling from shock.
