SALLY'S POV
A knock came to the door as my eyes were still drained in sleepiness. I was feeling so sleepy, forgetting that it was already time for work which I had to be fast about. "Sally, Sally, Sally" the voice called three times, but I didn't respond because I was still in bed and couldn't talk to anyone yet if I hadn't washed my face. Mistakenly a hard object hit me on my face which made me feel the pain, so I had to wake up the voice call again and this time it sounded differently like a male voice. "Sally, are you dear it's late for work already" I knew this time it was Asher from his voice. "I am preparing, okay I would be there, just give me the allowance of some minutes" I replied. "Okay, I would wait for you downstairs so we can have breakfast and go off," Asher said.
I lied to him because I know the kind of Passion and love he had for his company and most importantly being punctual but since I stepped foot into his residence I must say that he has changed completely. He no longer keeps blaming me for everything bad that happened to him or anything relating to Him. He is now a good and changed person. A few days ago, he shouted on top of his voice because I wasn't punctual to work. I don't know what would be of him now. Let me just rush and take my birth immediately and follow him to work cause if I do come late I would be skin alive.
I rushed to the restroom and took my bath and immediately take a good dress and went off to work, immediately I went downstairs and was hoping to see Asher waiting for me, but when I went outside I didn't see him there I was so surprised I went to Max to asked him where Asher went. I went to his room and asked him where Asher went. "Max, where did Asher go because I can't find him?" I asked. "I saw him drive away with his car. Maybe he has left for work. I thought you both were Inside the car. Why are you here? You have to book a taxi to go there immediately, or you face his Roth," Max replied. I knew Max was saying the Truth because he loves one being punctual to work or everything.
I trekked all the way to the roadside before I could see a taxi and booked it to work, so I would be there immediately in no time. Finally, I got to the company I had already accepted to be punished and embarrassed before all the staff but on second thought, I noticed he had changed and wouldn't be embarrassed in public anymore. I got to the entrance of the company and took a deep breath before going inside of it. I saw all the staff minding their business, so I went directly to my office, but on reaching there I saw Asher.
"Why are you always late? Just go and start working on the record of yesterday," Asher said. Immediately I cooled down and was free from his anger and the blame he would pour on me so immediately I left him and went inside my office I settled down and was tidying the place until I was informed the CEO of the company which is Asher has called for a meeting. I wasn't curious or frightened about the meeting because I met him today, and he didn't act angry, he was cool. I went to the arena where the meeting was held. Furthermore, I saw all the staff moving in the same direction, which meant that they were also called.
All the staff excluding me were sitting. The last chair remaining was for Asher. I just had to stand on my feet even if the meeting would take about some hours. "Good morning you all" Asher said, and the audience replied with "Good day sir". "Well I called this meeting to inform you all about the mistakes you all keep making. I don't like it and I would give all the corrections now, and I would point out the main people for this," Asher said. I was frightened by his words, but I knew he wouldn't point it out to me because he had already spoken to me this morning.
"Well you all know that the worst thing I hate as the company director I really don't like someone not being punctual to work, that means not being serious you all know that really I employ workers here due to their punctuality and I wouldn't want anyone to be an agent of distraction, so I would caution them all then if they do not take correction I would punish them with a sack letter firstly the overall of late employees is no other person than Sally" immediately he mentioned my name I stood from where I rested, and all eyes were on me, they all laughed at me, but I wasn't brought down by their laughter until Asher told them to stop.
"Are you all okay at all? I am trying to give corrections here, okay not cracking funny jokes and if I see you smiling and not composing yourself I don't mind giving you the sack letter, well over to you Sally. Since you started this work you have only been two or three times early to work which I don't like it okay you have to be composure and punctual to work I don't like the fact that you are always being late to work I don't like it and I would give you the last chance abs if you're still not punctual I would have no option than to just send you home" Asher said to me annoyingly.
I was really ashamed of myself, so I bent my Head down, so other staff couldn't notice that I was crying.
