Chương 9: 9.Chaos

After Noah left Bill's house, he stood atop a building, deep in thought about his next move. He had solid evidence against Bill, but he wasn't sure how to use it. Should he send the evidence to the police? Would they just cover it up, hiding the scandal and giving the corrupt cop who helped Bill a mere slap on the wrist? Noah knew there was a strong chance the authorities would turn a blind eye to the whole thing.

As he pondered his options, Noah realized the best solution: releasing the evidence online. With Alfred's help, he could ensure it reached as many people as possible. The internet was likely the only way to guarantee justice would be served.

But then, Noah paused again, reconsidering his approach. Should he stay hidden behind Venom's mask, or should he show the world who he really was? The idea that Venom could be more than just a "clown in a costume" who killed criminals started to grip his mind. Bill's case had proven to Noah that some criminals deserved death, yet they were still living freely because they knew how to manipulate the system and escape punishment.

That thought brought a wave of doubt. If Noah went ahead and killed criminals without presenting evidence of their crimes, the public might just see him as a deranged murderer. But if he made it clear, as he had with Bill, showing the public the proof of what Bill had done and the cop's involvement, it would change the narrative. People would understand that he wasn't killing at random—he was targeting those who truly deserved to die.

Noah realized that the world would be divided. Some would always see him as a crazed killer, but others would understand his mission. They would see that he was going after criminals who couldn't be reformed, those who continued to live unpunished. In contrast, minor criminals, like petty thieves, didn't deserve death. They still had a chance at redemption.

With this in mind, Noah decided to create a "stage" for himself. He would let the public know that from now on, he would only target the most dangerous criminals. He wasn't going to be the "friendly neighborhood vigilante" anymore. His message to the criminals was simple: "I'm done playing games. I'll kill every one of you who deserves it." Noah knew this decision would make him a wanted man, branded as a criminal in the eyes of the police. But that didn't matter—nobody knew who or what was behind the mask.

Once he made up his mind, there was no hesitation. He would act.

**Times Square, New York:**

Suddenly, all the screens in Times Square flickered and changed, displaying the same image across every screen.

A series of documents related to the murder case in which Bill had been previously accused appeared on the screens. Alongside them, there was a record of a $3 million transfer to an unknown individual. An audio recording also played, capturing a conversation between two men agreeing on a payment to clear one of them of charges of torture and murder.

As the audio ended, a deep, menacing voice echoed through the square: "I am Venom. This scumbag was the first, but he won't be the last."

The screens then went dark, showing only the coordinates of a specific location—the place where Bill had been hiding before he was killed. The screens remained like this for ten minutes, before reverting to their normal displays.

For those ten minutes, chaos erupted in Times Square. People were left stunned, struggling to comprehend what they had just witnessed.

---

The person in charge of the electronic billboard was in a panic, frantically working with the team to restore the screen to its usual state, but no one could figure out how to fix it.

Noah sat on a nearby high-rise building, watching the chaos unfold below.

He had already called his parents, telling them he would be staying late at Peter's house tonight. Since Noah and Peter became friends, they often studied and hung out together, and their families had grown close as well. Luke and Mia, Noah's parents, were especially relieved to see Noah forming such a good friendship. For a long time, they had felt guilty that Noah didn't have many close friends.

Now, seeing him with Peter brought them joy. More importantly, they trusted Noah. He had always been mature beyond his years, and Luke and Mia didn't worry about him doing anything reckless or childish. They trusted his judgment.

After Noah's eventful night, he returned home and quietly made his way to his room. As soon as he shut the door, he collapsed onto his bed, his mind flooded with conflicting thoughts. The weight of his decisions, the consequences of his actions, and the uncertain path ahead swirled in his head, making it impossible to find peace.

Hey everyone, here's a new chapter! It's a bit short, but I believe the quality is solid. If you have any thoughts on the novel or something that bothers you, feel free to leave a comment. I won't know what needs improvement unless you tell me.

We're still at the beginning of the book, and I expect it to be around 200 to 300 chapters in total. So, if you notice any issues with the writing style or events, don't hesitate to let me know. I promise I'll read your feedback, and if you're right, I'll make sure to edit any problematic parts.
