Chương 11: A Bolt from the Shadows

Blake stood on the battlefield, calmly observing the chaos around him. Luffy, with all his heart and recklessness, had charged headlong into danger, determined to save Ace. But as Blake predicted, the Marines had started overwhelming him. Vice-Admirals were targeting him, and the Admirals loomed nearby, ready to strike if necessary.

For all of Luffy's determination, Blake realized the boy's chances of reaching Ace were slim. He clenched his fists, weighing his options. Luffy wouldn't make it in time.

Blake felt a strange connection growing with Luffy, something he hadn't anticipated. The kid's unyielding drive to save his brother was admirable, and it reminded Blake of someone from his past life—someone who'd never given up despite the odds.

"That kid... he's got guts," Blake murmured a hint of admiration in his voice barely audible over the explosions and chaos. But he knew determination alone wouldn't be enough. If Luffy couldn't save Ace, then Blake would have to step in.

Next will be hardly described as some hard trashing for Luffy: being launched in front of the admirals with a mast, frozen after by Aokiji, Luffy tried some stunned actions to avoid these three monsters quickly but is unfortunately stopped by a vice-admiral, who overwhelms him quickly.

Using this distraction made by the determined Luffy, Blake goes into action. Note that by helping Luffy, Blake has made progress on his own, staying as close as possible to Luffy and offering him his aid. Although he's not so limited in terms of distance with his mirror's ability because of his eyes, it's a different story for Mikoto's card ability. The distance is significantly weakened, primarily because of the fragility of the metal used to perform his railgun and his low-level proficiency on this card, significantly limiting this ability's true power. But because he is close to Luffy and the executioner's platform and because he has a sea prism stone bullet, he can use this ability to a greater extent.

His sharp purple eyes swept over the execution platform in the distance. The executioners stood ready, their blades gleaming under the harsh light of the battlefield. Ace was chained between them, the end nearing. Garp sat nearby, his expression unreadable.

Blake shifted his stance, feeling the crackle of electricity course through his body. The power of Mikoto Misaka's card flowed through him, ready to be unleashed. He had already used the Electromaster ability for various tasks, but this time, he would push it further—to enhance his speed.

Blake took a deep breath and called upon the latent strength of his inherited body. The original Blake D. Flame had trained this body to near perfection, honing it through countless years of grueling work. Stamina, forged through endless training, was one of the body's greatest assets. And now, with Blake's control over electricity, he could push it even further.

As Blake tapped into his enhanced reaction speed, the electric current hummed through his veins. He bolted forward in a blur of motion, and his entire body surged with power. The battlefield around him became a blur as he streaked toward the execution platform, his insane reaction speed allowing him to dodge attacks and weave through the chaos.

Faster.

Blake's feet barely touched the ground as he zipped through the fighting pirates and Marines. Electromaster's power coursed through his body, amplifying his movements, and with each step, he got closer to Ace.

Blake's goal was clear: Destroy the execution platform before the final blow could be struck.

As he neared the platform, Blake quickly retrieved the sea prism stone bullet he had pocketed earlier. His mind was calm, focused entirely on the plan. He would load it into his railgun and destroy the platform at its base.

With his enhanced vision, he could see the structure clearly—every support beam, every weak point. A precise shot would send the entire thing crumbling down.

Blake crouched low, focusing all his energy on the railgun ability, electricity crackling between his fingers. He loaded the sea prism stone bullet, its energy-draining properties resonating with him. He could already see the outcome in his mind—a single shot would topple the execution platform and send Ace, Garp, and the executioners crashing down.

But just as Blake prepared to launch the railgun, his future sight kicked in. A sudden flash of vision showed him what was about to happen: Aokiji and Kizaru had spotted him from afar. Aokiji was already preparing to summon an ice wall to block Blake's attack while Kizaru raised his hand, a light beam forming at his fingertip. The light beam would intercept Blake's shot, preventing it from reaching the platform.

Blake narrowed his eyes. So, they've noticed me.

Blake didn't hesitate. His sharp mind quickly formulated a counter. If Kizaru's light beam were coming to intercept his railgun shot, he would use it to his advantage.

Blake summoned two mirrors using the Mirror Knight card with a flick of his fingers. He knew his mirrors couldn't stop direct physical attacks, but they were perfect for redirecting light.

The first mirror appeared to Blake's right, perfectly angled to deflect Kizaru's light beam, coming from the same direction. The second mirror formed further ahead, aligned with the light beam and Blake's railgun shot. Blake timed it perfectly, syncing the attacks so that Kizaru's light beam would pass through both mirrors and hit Aokiji's ice wall at the exact moment his railgun did.

As Kizaru fired his light beam, it ricocheted off Blake's first mirror, curving through the air in a dazzling display of precision. The second mirror caught the beam just in time, traveling in sync with Blake's railgun shot, piercing through Aokiji's ice wall with a burst of energy.

The railgun, enhanced by the sea-prism stone bullet, slammed into the base of the execution platform with a thunderous explosion. The entire structure shook violently, the support beams cracking and crumbling under the force of the attack.

Blake's eyes remained focused on the platform as it began to collapse. Ace, the executioners, and Garp all fell from the platform, crashing to the ground in a cloud of debris.

For a brief moment, the battlefield was silent. All eyes were on the collapsing platform, the shock of what had just happened rippling through the pirates and the Marines.

As the dust settled, Garp, who had been seated on the platform moments before, stood up slowly. He could have interfered—he could have prevented the platform from falling. But he didn't. Instead, he allowed it to happen, choosing not to act.

Garp glanced at Blake, standing in the open, his calm and composed expression unchanged. A small smile tugged at the corner of Garp's lips, his eyes gleaming with a hint of approval. Blake's cleverness had not gone unnoticed.

Well done, kid, Garp thought to himself, though he made no move to show it outwardly.

The Battlefield's Shock: Blake's Revelation

The silence didn't last long. As the dust cleared and the platform lay in ruins, the Marines and pirates alike stared at Blake in disbelief. His intervention had been swift, calculated, and devastatingly effective. The executioners were incapacitated, the platform destroyed, and Ace was no longer in immediate danger.

Whispers spread through the battlefield.

"Who is that?"

"Isn't that Blake D. Flame? The infamous pirate?"

"No... That can't be him... He was supposed to be locked up in Impel Down!"

But what caught everyone's attention wasn't just Blake's actions—it was his face. Handsome, with sharp features and piercing purple eyes, he radiated an aura of authority that was impossible to ignore. Even amid the chaos, there was something magnetic about him, something that demanded attention.

Blake stood tall, his eyes scanning the battlefield, unfazed by the attention he had drawn. He had succeeded in his task—the platform was destroyed, and Ace was out of danger of being executed, at least for now.

But the real battle was far from over.
