That night, Fu Rong got notification on her mobile for receiving payment of 5,000 yuan. Next day, when she was drawing the symbols in her talismans, she saw familiar faces before her. Old Master Xie along with Xie Bowen and Li Shuyan reached her stall. Both young and old eyes were filled with admiration and gratitude.
"Little girl, this old man is grateful for your help. If you hadn't predicted the danger my daughter was about to face, we couldn't have saved her." Old Master Xie took Fu Rong's hand and thanked her again. The sudden touch jolted but she calmed down seeing the old man.
"Old Master" Fu Rong was stopped by him " Call me Grandpa Li, little girl. May I ask your name?" Old Master Xie was curious to know about Fu Rong. She knew that her business needs connection and word of mouth to scale and it's not a big deal for Old master Xie to help her but to get the word from is truly good and that too reward for her work. So she immediately called him Grandpa Xie.
"Grandpa Xie, I am Fu Rong", she politely told her name. Old man sensed her surname as Fu. It's not a common name and in the capital city only Fu Sheng, chairman of Fu corporation has the same surname. Though Fu corporation is not in the top 4 families, he strived for the best and had a firm foothold in the capital. With his effort he is already very near the top 4 families.
Old Master Xie had heard about the Fu family and Fu Sheng, head of the Fu family. He has quite a favorable impression of him. . Fu Sheng lost his wife 2 years back and has a daughter and son. He recognized that Fu Rong is Fu Sheng's daughter.
"Are you Mr. Fu Sheng's daughter? Ha.. ha..ha.. That explains your temperament and feels like you are not a simple school girl." Old master Xie praised Fu Rong and made a mental note of her. This little girl aged 17 looks so young but has an impressive aura on her, one with authority and extra-ordinary.
He turned to look at his grandson who is almost 25 yet simply useless and shook his head. If he was talented at least half of the Mu kid, he would have tried to match make between Fu Rong and his son. Now it will be quite ungrateful to match this useless idiot to Fu rong after she saved his daughter. Is it very late to disown his grandson?
Li Shuang who was watching his father-in-law looking at Fu Rong and young master Xie, understood what he was thinking and silently lit a candle in his heart for his nephew-in-law. Maybe later he can back him up since he was his wife's favorite nephew.
Xie Bowen who was unaware of his grandfather's and uncle's thoughts went near Fu rong, "Little sister, thank you for saving my aunt. Do you have more talismans like you gave for my aunt? I want more and I will pay you immediately" he smiled sheepishly and fawned.
Old Master Xie who was looking at his grandson with disdain clutched his head because of his behavior and his lips twitched. No, it's never late to disown him. He needs to talk to his son after he returns from his business trip. He silently decided in his heart. Just like that, Xie Bowen's fate was decided by his grandfather.
Fu Rong who was watching all three and their silent thoughts laughed in her heart. Though her face was cold and stoic, her eyes carried a small smile curve. After Xie Bowen paid, she gave him a few safety talismans and they exchanged contacts for further business and contacts.
Meanwhile, in a private room on the fifth floor of Simo International Hotel, three people's hands were tied behind their head and bound with their legs. Their jaws were dislocated and teeth were broken to pull out the poison between their teeth. Their eyes were terrified as they looked at the handsome man sitting on a couch, dressed in an all black suit who looked like a king of demons who came straight from hell to reap their life.
He looked at the man in gray and smiled which didn't reach his eyes. If he was not in a blood shed room, he would have looked like a fallen immortal who lost his way in this world. Such beauty now looked like hades. The man in gray went forward to proceed another round of torture to get the secrets out of those 3 assassins.
The middle aged man sitting opposite to the handsome man shivered from fright. He is not a good man and carried blood on his hands to succeed in his business but the torture he had seen now sent shivers to his spine and he felt uncomfortable in his stomach. If not this man sitting in front of him, he would have retched at least five times.
"Fifth Master, I.." swallowed the remaining words in fear. He wiped his head with a handcloth and contemplated whether to continue, "Are you here to join in the fun here? Did you bring what I asked for or should I throw you out ?" He heard a manly and magnetic cold voice which could melt many young girls' hearts but sounded like the voice of Yama for him. He subconsciously clenched the file he brought.
"Fifth Master, I brought the details you asked me for. The Lin family really went too far this time. They spoke to some of the shareholders and directors to side with them and also sent these assassins to kill you as backup, in case you turn up at the meeting tomorrow. The illegitimate son of your uncle is backed up by the Lin family." He finished telling him the gist in one shot and breathed in relief. The rest are there in the file he gave and it is time for him to shut up. He might not have noticed how his whole body is trembling with this man's presence.
Mu Ling, was the fifth son of Old Master Mu, Mu Leixan. His first son, who was nurtured as heir, got into an assassination and died at the age of 25 without marrying or leaving any heir. All his sons except his fifth son, Mu Ling, were scared of this gruesome murder and went to do their own job which they had interest in, leaving the sole responsibility on Mu Ling who was just 9 at that time. He is a pampered son who was born at Old Master Mu's old age and without any choice, he trained Mu Ling to be an heir and all his brothers accepted him as family head and to follow his lead.
