Ephyra snorted. "It's not entirely impossible." Ever since she transmigrated, anything was possible for her. "And please don't call me by my full name like that. It sounds weird."
Lyle didn't respond, his violet eyes gleaming with an unsettling stir as he stared at her. A stir that deepened when Eira didn't waver under his gaze, instead meeting him with defiance and anger.
"I not only heal fast; my strength, speed, and intelligence are beyond what most can comprehend. But no," Lyle said with a smirk, "I'm not a demon or a werewolf, Ephyra." His tone was mocking, but there was a chilling edge to it. "I'm simply... different."
Eira crossed her arms, unimpressed. "Different how?"
Lyle's smile widened as he leaned back in his chair, his posture relaxed, yet his presence suffocating. "That's something you don't need to know."
This chapter is 1110 words. Haven't been feeling well and because of that I’m not sure if there is going to be a second chapter but if you encourage me with your comments and votes, I will drop another chapter!
