Mikhailis stirred awake, his senses slowly coming back to him. He felt the warmth beside him, the familiar comfort of another body nestled against his. Instinctively, he reached out, wrapping his arm around it, pulling the figure closer. He sighed softly, a smile forming on his lips as he felt the silky strands of hair slip through his fingers. Without much thought, he began to stroke the hair gently, feeling the way it slipped between his fingers.

The figure in his embrace shifted, and he felt an arm wrap around him in return, a sleepy but affectionate gesture that made him smile. He lowered his head, pressing a soft kiss to the crown of the person's head, the warmth and intimacy of the gesture making him feel at ease. Almost immediately, he felt small, tender kisses against his chest, and he chuckled at the sensation.
