Chương 14: Prophecy And Destiny

[Despite your dubious hunch, Harry said nothing as he followed Professor McGonagall toward Gringotts Bank. He would uncover the details when he had more time.]

What Harry Black did not know was that his thoughts had drastically changed the expressions of the high-ranking officials at the Ministry of Magic.

It was not by chance, but because Harry Black was, in fact, correct!

Those in the highest positions, accustomed to dealing with conspiracies and crises, could hardly believe that Voldemort, whose name could not even be mentioned, had been defeated by a newborn baby.

As time passed and Voldemort remained missing, the Ministry officials seized the rare opportunity to publicly declare his defeat, forcing the dark wizards who were ravaging the magical world to retreat into the shadows.

This realization was not exclusive to the Ministry officials.

Any attentive wizard who reflected even slightly on what had occurred knew that there was something wrong with this story.

But between a futile truth and peace won through blood, who would be foolish enough to hesitate to accept the peace offered at their doorstep?

For the general public, however, the issue was not trivial but devastating, as could be observed in the group conversation.

Lily Potter: "A spiritual totem? My little Harry is being used as a symbol against the dark wizards?"

James Potter: "I was wondering why Harry is so famous, to the point that even children know about the Potters' disaster. It seems someone did an excellent job in the media, didn't they, Cornelius?"

Gellert Grindelwald: "I expected nothing less from the hypocrites at the Ministry of Magic. How could they waste a rare opportunity to suppress the dark wizards?"

Gellert Grindelwald: "But I wonder… how does someone with the title of Dark Lord fail to defeat a baby? In a way, I even feel ashamed."

Cornelius Fudge: "Hmph! Gellert, what does a lunatic like you have to criticize others? The damage you caused is no less than Voldemort's."

Cornelius Fudge: "All of this was for a greater good. Besides, I'm not fully involved in this story. Why don't you ask that lunatic Trelawney?"

Sybill Trelawney: "!!!"

Sybill Trelawney: "Cornelius, do I really need to say who invited me to foresee Voldemort's rise and Harry Potter's role…!!!"

Albus Dumbledore: "Alright, Ms. Trelawney, it seems that the situation is a bit complicated, and this group chat is not the best place to discuss it."

Despite Dumbledore's quick intervention, everyone clearly understood the weight of the leaked information.

The hope that Voldemort was dead was completely shattered, and the possibility that he was still at large was revealed.

Moreover, the most frightening aspect was Professor Trelawney's prophecy regarding Voldemort's rise and some kind of crucial role for Harry.

What else were these people hiding?

In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, a place full of children would normally be filled with noise, but now there was only an eerie silence.

Harry felt a chill run down his spine at the thought of his life being reduced to a prophecy. It seemed that Professor Dumbledore knew more about this matter.

With this thought, Harry glanced at Dumbledore at the teachers' table, seeking an answer.

However, all he received was a nod, indicating that it was not the time to find out.

This only reinforced Harry's conviction, and he began to lose control, his magic stirring within his body.

However, the Comparison Room intervened and contained the turmoil, leading Harry to sigh in frustration and remain silent.

The magical world was suddenly enveloped by a strange atmosphere, and everyone began to take seriously what was happening behind the scenes.

No one wanted to relive the horrors of Voldemort's time.

As silence dominated the magical world, the curtain of light continued to reveal what was to come.

[On the way to Gringotts, Harry couldn't help but notice how primitive these people's lives were in the wizarding world. They still used candle lamps, and there was not a shop or house that could be considered "modern."]

[When Harry spotted the sign for Gringotts, he didn't think much of it; after all, it was convenient to warn wizards about the consequences of greed. But as he entered the Gringotts hall, his expression turned strange.]

[There was not a single wizard among the Gringotts employees; all were ugly little goblins. At that moment, Harry couldn't help but seriously doubt if the brains of the people in the wizarding world were damaged, and then asked Professor McGonagall succinctly.]

["Professor McGonagall, can you tell me why goblins seem to be the main employees of Gringotts? Where are the wizards?"]

[Professor McGonagall was a bit confused by the question, but still explained that the goblins, with their cunning and skills, had taken control of the vaults due to their unparalleled expertise in managing wealth, something that wizards, even with magic, had never mastered with the same efficiency.]

[Additionally, some goblin revolts had made this possible, and Gringotts' tradition of neutrality had allowed the institution to remain in the hands of goblins despite the distrust.]

[When Harry heard the reason, he confirmed his thoughts: these wizards didn't understand how addictive the power of capitalism could be. They even allowed other races to manage their money. Harry thought that when he became stronger and had more influence, he would definitely change this situation.]

[Harry was then taken to his underground vault on the cart, and his expression was shocked to see the immense amount of money in the vault. But considering that this was being overseen by goblins, he looked at Professor McGonagall.]

["Professor, is there any way I can take all this money with me?"]

["Well, of course, you can choose to buy something with a Space Expansion Spell, but I think you don't really need that, especially since these products are a bit expensive."]

[Harry didn't hesitate and told the goblin accompanying them that he would like to know if they had any of those products; after all, how could someone working with money not have something to store it?]

[The goblin did not disappoint him and smiled amiably as he pulled from his storage bag several types of items with Space Expansion Spells.]

[Harry looked at an emerald necklace with a storage capacity of fifty cubic meters and immediately fell in love with it, generously purchasing it for 1200 galleons.]

[Harry immediately stored the rest of his money in the necklace, feeling satisfied to now be considered a little rich man.]

[After leaving Gringotts, Harry followed Professor McGonagall to order three sets of uniforms and various materials and equipment for Potions class. When they passed by a magical pet store, Harry felt deeply drawn to a snow-white owl; it seemed like destiny. Harry named her Hedwig. At that moment all that was left was to buy the books and a wand.]
