Chương 20: Next Destination... Room!
Kyle didn't like that he had to play games with her unlike his date with Jane, Jane was genuinely happy to be there but he could tell that Calista had an ulterior motive which was his money.
He didn't care about that, all he wanted right now was to max out her affection bar and he knew that tonight was to help him find out what she responded to.
He had established that she liked the spotlight so all he needed to do was be the one responsible for doing that.
They ate but Calista was watching what she ate, she was a model and couldn't overeat as being one required a level of discipline that was almost impressive.
Kyle noticed that she didn't mention what she did at the store or even offer an apology.
She acted like the event never happened but this was good, Kyle could now do what he had planned for tonight with no remorse.
If anything, he would consider them even as the night was slowly concluding.
They both had a few drinks that could send the average man into debt but it was worth it.
This was when Calista began to loosen up and speak more about herself.
"I can't believe I had this much fun," Calista confessed, resting her chin on the palm of her open hand as she stared at Kyle.
"Luckily for you, the night is still young…" Kyle responded, leaving it for interpretation.
"Heh! Is this where you convince me to follow you into your room?" Calista questioned.
"No, this is when you convince me why I should take you to my room," Kyle quickly changed the direction of the conversation to steer it to his advantage.
"Hehehe~ You really are something else," Calista gushed and this wasn't the alcohol talking as she was still very much in control.
"Give me your hand," Kyle requested, this was out of the blue but she thought nothing of it and stretched out her hand for Kyle who was seated on the opposite side of the table.
"Here, what do you want to do, read my palm?" Calista said with a chuckle.
"You could say that and I'm getting a reading…" Kyle said dramatically. Calista indulged him as there wasn't anything that could go wrong.
"And what does it say?" Calista asked with a smirk.
"You will get everything you want in life. You will be on the cover of magazines, you will be the star in blockbuster movies but you cannot give up, not now, not ever…" Kyle said and Calista's facial expression changed.
Kyle simply used common sense to do a quick reading on her and judging from her reaction, it looks like she needed to hear those words.
"You are a weird one," Calista said with a cute smile plastered across her face.

"You know… I got into an agency and I had no one to tell about it," Calista confessed, showing a glimpse of vulnerability which Kyle associated with the sudden increase of her affection bar.
"Well, now you have someone to tell, you have me," Kyle responded with a warm smile.
Calista might be a rude little shit but in the end, she was just a girl that craved what every other girl did, a knight in shining armour.
Calista simply smiled at this response, oblivious to the fact that her request would have been rejected if Kyle hadn't intervened directly.
The agency didn't just accept anyone, the people applying had to reach a certain requirement because the clients they represented were a direct reflection of them.
"You are a lot different from what I imagined…" Calista muttered.
"How so?" Kyle asked, looking her right in the eyes, he knew that if it was Aiysha sitting in front of him, he wouldn't be able to hold her gaze but luckily, it wasn't.
Calista was a beautiful lady but she didn't have the same aura that Aiysha had and that was why Kyle could do what he did around her.
"I don't know…" Calista bit her lower lips, Kyle noticed her eyes were fixed on his lips and all he did was grin.
"About dessert…" She said, pausing briefly as she raised her eyes to meet his.
"I think I would like to have some now," Calista said with a smirk and Kyle instantly knew what she meant by this.
"Is that so…" Kyle responded, his eyes fixed on her chest, he couldn't wait to see how they looked behind that dress.
"It looks like you can't wait either," Calista teased and she wasn't wrong.
Kyle liked the way that things were going and knew that tonight would either break or make the affection bar.
"How about we continue this conversation somewhere more ~private~," Calista said and Kyle instantly called for the check.
He paid the sum of over $5,000 like it was nothing but that was because it was nothing.

Kyle noticed that his wealth was nearing $4,000,000 but it wasn't enough, he needed to fill in the requirements to level up as soon as possible.
And right now, he could smell the pheromones coming off Calista's skin.
She wanted him and Kyle wanted her as well as they had filled their bellies.
Now, it was time to satisfy their carnal lust.
