"Penelope, do you have some free time later?"
"What? Are you asking me out on a date?" Penelope's heart skipped a beat.
She pretended to casually fix her hair.
"Uh, you could say that. Come with me to the Slytherin dormitory. I need your help!" Kael said seriously.
He still had to allocate territory for the pets today, as well as calm and feed them. Having only Cassandra to help might not be enough.
"Slytherin's dormitory?" Penelope frowned slightly. She was happy to help Kael, but visiting another house's dormitory...
"Although Slytherin and Ravenclaw aren't on bad terms, going into their dormitory might cause some people to object," she hesitated.
Penelope didn't want to strain Kael's relationship with the Slytherins because of her.
"Don't worry, the Slytherin students are very welcoming. They'll definitely be glad to have you!" Kael replied.
"Have you finished eating? Time's tight. How about we go now?"
"Cassandra, stop spacing out and come with me!"
"Hmph!" Cassandra huffed. What a jerk!
…
At the entrance to the Slytherin common room:
"Kael, are you sure it's okay for me to go in?" Penelope was still hesitant.
At Hogwarts, the four houses were distinct, each with its own common room password. Students rarely entered other houses' dormitories.
"Of course it's fine. I told you, they're very welcoming!" Kael casually spoke the password to the stone wall.
As the door opened, Penelope was startled.
Can you imagine being greeted by over seventy students from different years, all hanging from the ceiling, staring down at you with glowing red eyes?
Most of them were hungry, having gone through classes all afternoon without food.
"Kael, what's going on here?"
"Oh, this is a traditional Slytherin welcome ceremony. I told you, the students here are very warm and hospitable!"
"They welcome guests by hanging themselves from the ceiling. You'll get used to it!" Kael explained earnestly.
Slytherins: "???"
Come on, it's bad enough being hung from the ceiling, and now you're bringing outsiders to see us like this?
[Ding! Seventy-three waves of resentment detected!]

[Ding! Congratulations, you've received 21 silver treasure boxes and 52 bronze treasure boxes!]
In an instant, 73 emotional treasure boxes arrived!
Penelope felt like her mind was spinning. A welcome ceremony like this?
"Let's go. We're short on time, and we have a lot to get done!"
Back in the dormitory, Kael pulled out his suitcase and placed it in the center of the room, leading the two young witches inside.
Cassandra was relatively calm, but it was Penelope's first time.
"Kael, is this yours?"
When she saw the vast space inside, her eyes glistened. "Glistening" wouldn't do it justice; it was more like they were shining with admiration.
A small suitcase containing such a large space, complete with plains, forests, mountains, and rivers—this was beyond anything Penelope could have imagined.
Young witches are at the age where they admire powerful figures, and Kael had always been her hidden "white moonlight." (T/N: People often use it to describe a character or a person who is always in their heart because of their remarkable act of kindess or their beauty. The chinese character [百月光] literally means 'white moonlight' so it is similar to describing someone as BEAUTIFUL and as TRANQUIL as the moonlight.)
…
The next morning:
The previous night, Kael and the two witches worked until 11 PM, organizing the "Magical Beasts Breeding Ground."
Even his weakest pets were classified as XXXX creatures, with most of them being fierce and aggressive.
Though they obeyed Kael's orders, after being cramped together for a while, conflicts inevitably arose. So, they had to divide territories for each creature within the space.
Today it was Wednesday morning and it marked the first Charms class since the students arrived at Hogwarts, shared with Gryffindor.
The Charms professor was none other than Professor Flitwick, someone Kael was quite familiar with.
After finishing breakfast with Cassandra, the two of them headed to the Charms classroom. Cassandra was sitting beside Kael looking confident.
"Kael, I learned a lot of spells at home!" Cassandra said with determination.
She sat close to Kael, the two of them standing out from the other Slytherins around them.
"Is that so?"
"Hmph, although your Dark Arts are powerful, I bet I'm just as good as you at these simple spells!" Cassandra was full of competitive spirit.
Dark magic was one thing, but simple spells like the Levitation Charm didn't have much variation in power. Whether cast by an ordinary adult wizard or an elite Auror, the results wouldn't differ much.
"How about we make a bet?"
"The loser has to give the winner a back massage for a month—15 minutes a day!"
"Deal!" Cassandra gritted her teeth. (T/N: Is She even gaining any benefit from this?)
…
Soon, class began. All the young wizards were seated.
Standing on a stack of books, Professor Flitwick was about to deliver his carefully prepared opening remarks when he saw Kael take out his wand. His heart sank.
This classroom had only recently been repaired!
Flitwick quickly changed his introduction, speaking with heightened enthusiasm.
"Slytherin, ten points!" he exclaimed.
"It's clear that Kael has already mastered today's lesson!"
"So, now, put down your wand… and, Kael, for this class, no magic, okay?"
"???"
Cassandra was stunned. Wait, what just happened?
Did I lose the bet before the lesson even started?
